Dr. Behzadi is an excellent Doctor and his Nurse Practitioner Merin too. Thank you for going above and beyond and caring about my needs when no one else has. The past 4 1/2 years have been a struggle and having this team behind me has been a blessing. Thank you!

Visit was fine. Dr. Behzadi explained fairly well the healing process on my right knee and the procedure that will follow will include the one I immediately opted for; a cortisone shot on my right knee.

The wait to get an appt was much better than my previous orthopedic dr. Which was important because I’ve been in a lot of pain. I felt like they were very thorough in the exam and explained next steps and really wanted to help me. All good.

This was my first visit with Dr. Behzadi. Dr. Behzadi listened thoroughly to all my concerns, he did a great good job explaining to me what he thinks is the problem, and suggested a treatment that meets my needs. Thank you!

Dr. Behzadi has always invested the time to clearly explain my options for knee treatment (in my case, surgery). I’ve seen multiple doctors (including their reviewing my MRI(s), x-ray(s), etc.) and he is the only one who looked deeper into a challenge I’ve been facing with my knee to potentially identity and hopefully obtain a solution for it. He’s patiently listened to my questions and re-explained things if I didn’t get them the first time. And if, after answering the most surgery-relevant questions, he needs to go see other patients who are waiting for him, he connects me with an additional team member (for example, Maren — who has also been very empathetic, knowledgeable, and all-around helpful) to continue the conversation with me. When I visit Dr. Behzadi’s office, I feel I’m in good hands. I feel he and his staff have my best interest in mind, work with integrity, and are experts in their fields. I really like my Dr. What I don’t like is having to wait up to an hour for my 10 minute exam. If they can send out text reminders and check in’s, they ought to be able to send out text reminders stating the Dr is running behind. But again, I really like my Dr and his staff.

I recently had a hip replacement by Dr. Behzadi. He is confident without coming across as arrogant. He is personable and it feels like he really cares about his patients. His staff was great about returning phone calls and I never had to wait over 24 hours to hear back from them, often my call was returned the same day. Very unprofessional office staff with no concern about patients and their concerns. During these times, doctor doesn’t have any option to have video or phone call options to discuss the test results.

The clinical team is very informative in their presentation of the process and procedures of the upcoming surgery. Empathy has played a big part on why I have selected Dr.Behzahdi and his team.

Dr. Behzadi is extremely knowledgeable and experienced. He does not waste your time. Excellent bed-side manner, but most importantly you get properly diagnosed and treated.

Dr. Behzadi is caring, thorough and provides thoughtful solutions to complicated issues.

No wait time, was seen at the time of my appointment. Dr. provided plenty of time for the appointment and also did a very thorough job of explaining the details of my injury and what to expect during the healing process.

Kambiz Behzadi is a wonderful doctor. He actually cares about me as a patient also he explain things in detail to you and he takes his time with you I have seen a lot of doctors. I trust Doctor Kambiz Behzadi and I would recommend him to anyone and everyone. Doctor Kambiz Behzadi is a Great Doctor and we need more Doctor like him.

Greatest doctor ever --- always takes the right approach ---- I am a very active older person (currently 62 years old) and used Dr Behzadi for about 15 years to help repair my various sports injuries over those 15 years, and all injuries were repaired with no issues afterwards.

Dr. Behzadi is great. Very clear on what the issue is and remedy options.

Dr. Behzadi is very nice and knowledgeable. He will take the time to fully understand your injury and work to correct properly so you can return to previous activities.

Dr. Behzadi is very easy to talk with, he informs you of what is going on and very knowledgeable. The whole staff at Tri Valley are helpful, friendly, and very good at taking care of the patient.

I had appointment at 1:50pm. I got to the office by 1:40. While I was registering I saw 2 other people showed up to see the same doctor. While waiting I saw more patients showed up to see same doctor. I asked the secretary that do these patients have appointments around same time as me. She said that some come late and some come early. I waited until 2:15pm. Then I told front desk that I have another appointment at 3pm and need to know how long I have to wait. They finally took me inside. Doctor came with anger and told me that here is Orthopedic office I should expect to wait even 2 hours. I said if it is 2 hours they should tell me in advance so I don't come. He said front desk should have told you. I said nobody told me that. Then I left the office without the visit. This is the worst behavior I saw from a doctor in my last 30 years visiting doctors. I had appointment at 1:50pm. I got to the office by 1:40. UPDATED 6/7/21 (Original post below this update) I did as Dr. Behzadi suggested. However after 4 days of icing and being in horrible pain I got a referral and went for my second opinion. The second Dr. offered to give me a cortisone shot but asked to drain fluid off of my extremely swollen knee first. I said "Yes!" Doing so helped my pain instantly. My second Doctor noticed the fluid was cloudy and expressed concern about a possible infection. He asked me to come back in two days when he would have the results of testing the fluid from my knee. Turns out there was an infection!! It was Strep A! It was inside my knee capsule. He immediately had me admitted to the hospital where I underwent surgery so the knee could be flushed with antibiotics. I was in the hospital for 3 days, after which I had a central IV line inserted and had to undergo 4 weeks of IV antibiotics 3 times a day. It's now two months out. My knee is much better. I still have to go to PT to get the strength and flexibility back. Thankfully the Strep A did not get into my bloodstream. If it had, I could have died. Dr. Behzadi's lack of care, his refusal to listen, and his complete lack of medical care most certainly would have been the cause. ***************************** ORIGINAL POST. This was my first time in this office. I went to the Pleasanton location. Immediately you can see this is a HUGE practice, and I felt a bit overwhelmed. Following signs, standing in line, policy, and procedure. It almost felt like voting back when crowds were huge. I will say the supporting staff was AMAZING and very helpful. Anyway. My initial visit with Dr. Behzadi left me confused and a bit angry. I was explaining how my injury happened, and he said "I don't need to hear all this. What's the short story?". I was taken aback. I never got to tell him all of my input. When I asked about a cortisone shot he said he was not willing to give me one as I didn't have a current A1c. (All of my past tests show I'm just fine.) He talked very fast, finally said it was a combo of arthritis and an old back injury. No discussion, no informed consent practice. The Dr. suggested a brace, ice 2x/day, keeping it rested. He told me I should feel better in 7 to 10 days. I was dismissed, and I felt it. I'm going to do what he suggested. Everything he said was spot on regarding my current medical issues and my knee. However, I don't have a "Diagnosis" nor do I know what caused my swollen knee, as there was no "accident" etc. I'm left baffled, put off, and unsure of my status. I wish he would have let me tell him my long story and my ideas. I did not feel heard. I believe he saw a fat woman, diabetes, heart issues, etc, and had me pigeon-holed before he even came in the room because Medical-Bias exists. Dr.Behzadi was both friendly, professional and took a very holistic approach for my neck and shoulder pain, rather than instant surgery as a cure. He went into details to clarify my condition and set up a path in steps toward wellness. Much appreciated!! Excellent doc!!

Dr Behzadi is incredible! 7 years ago, Dr B did a total replacement of my Left knee, which is great. This time the partial on the Right is turning out the same way. I have referred several people to him, and they are as happy as I am. His Physician Assistant, Marion is an incredibly, talented, and knowledgeable compliment to Dr B... Dr Behzadi has been my orthopedic for 20 plus years and really appreciate his conservative approach to treatment using surgery only as a last resort. He repaired a torn meniscus in the right knee 15 years ago and still holds up well. Currently he is overseeing lumbar disc issues which has caused much grief and am impressed by the effort and concern to ease my pain. The staff which includes Maren and Claire always respond in a timely manner and they are genuinely concerned for your well being! While the wait sometimes can be frustrating, the results are always more than satisfactory. This was my first visit with Dr. Behzadi. He immediately gathered my test results, examined me and addressed my health issue. I found the doctor knowledgeable, courteous, and helpful. I am confident he will satisfactorily address my health issue. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a great doctor.

Dr. Behzadi was very kind and gentle. He explained what was happening to me with care and concern. His staff was professional and I was seen on time. I am grateful for their time and will return for follow up appointments.

Shoulder pain due to regular golf games.

The doctor looked at my MRI I had and the original writeup by the MRI doctor and then explained to me what it all meant. I was satisfied with his analysis, although of course I wished there was less damage to report. I drive 2 hrs to get to see Dr Behzadi because I was very happy with my previous Hip Replacement and visits for my frozen shoulder.

Dr Behzadi was great when I went in to have my consultation with him. He is very thorough.

Everything went as smooth as possible. NO WAIT at all in all the different stations. Vastly improved from previous appointments. Very pleased!

excellent visit that answered my questions about my current situation and options going forward ...and was able to get knee injection same day rather than another appointment- that saves me from another potential COVID exposure by being out in public.

My experience with the doctor was a 5 star rating. He was attentive and knowledgeable and seem to genuinely care about my pain. However, I couldn’t give a 5 star rating for the office because as my first experience, I didn’t feel it was acceptable to have to wait for over an hour in the waiting room without any word as to why there was a delay. Patients who arrived after me were being called before me. It wasn’t until I spoke up that I was finally called. My experience with the doctor was a 5 star rating.
