We have seen Dr Gaddipati for years. She is our #1 choice for Gastroenterology care. The staff is friendly and knowledgable. Doctor is professional, kind, caring and an expert. We receive excellent care every time. She has earned our trust.

Dr Gadipaddi is an excellent physician. My husband went to her for a GI issue. Was scheduled for a colonoscopy May 5. We were called May 2 and told his colonoscopy was cancelled and could not be rescheduled until July 14th. So much for concern for patient!! I talked with the office manager and was told this was how they operated. Because he was cancelled he moved to the bottom of the scheduling list. Doesn’t seem logical or right.

I would definately recommend Dr. Kalyani Gaddipati for procedures. I found her to be very pleasant and knowledgable. The staff is very professional and courteous. I had a very personable experience not at all feeling like a number or a factory rotation. My experience was smooth and successful.

Amazing doctor & staff. Dr. Gaddipati truly cares about her patients, and the empathy/follow up by her staff is something rare, very special.

She was great at first until I had to go to the hospital. Then she yelled at me because I didn’t want to take a drug with really bad side effects and was disrespectful, condescending and rude. I’ve seen her twice now in the hospital and she was the same both time. She has a god complex and no bedside manner st all. Her colleagues were demeaning too! Awful doctor!

This doctor who made my 82 yr old grandfather cry says she's worried about my grandfather who needs an operation on his ulcer that's causing him to lose weight (5'10" 130lbs) but won't perform an emergency operation on him. HORRIBLE care!

I had a appointment set for today 11.20.19. I went through the prep for the colonoscopy as instructed. I showed up at the office and was told that they did NOT have me on the schedual and that Dr. Gaddipati was out of the office(country). The staff stated that they called me and rescheduled my appointment, when I asked who they spoke to, they advised... You. They advised me that they don't reschedul appointments unless they have a conversation with the patient, the office staff insistsed that they actually spoke to me when the appointment was rescheduled. I recieved no call at any time from the Doctors office, I never spoke to anyone at amy time. They made it sound as if I should have been the one to call the office to confirm my appointment. If only I could give negative stars... my experience was horrible. I had a colonoscopy many years back by this doctor, to assess gastro issues I had been having. That afternoon I had substantial pain and I called the office for assistance. They told me RUDELY that it would not have been from the colonoscopy. Of course I told them that was the only thing I had done that day so I felt confident it was from the procedure. They refused to see me. For the next 8 months I dealt with constant pain until I finally had an ulcer eat through my back leaving a hole. I went into Mayo Clinic (the BEST place to go) and they opened me up to clean find I had my colon perforated at some point (the only person touching my colon was this doctor) and the contents that leaked out had caused a massive bone infection. They removed the infected bone (the entire coccyx) and I had a wound that took another 4 months and an additional surgery to heal along with a PICC line with 2 IV antibiotics and 2 oral antibiotics. Doctors told me I was lucky to survive. If only I could give negative stars... my experience was horrible. had a colonoscopy with her & she wrote off my symptoms as anxiety induced ibs Ended up in the hospital with horrible abdominal pain & vomiting, they actually gave me medicine to help. I then called to make a follow up appointment with my gastro as you should, she couldn’t see me for weeks & schedules all her patients one day a week & shoves them all in because she’d rather be doing procedures all week. I went to her office and everyone was very nice. She is very professional kind and compassionate. After my procedure she gave me my options and even though the news was not good she made sure my family and I were understanding of all she told us. Love Dr.G. Very personable and she listens. I came to her after being grossly misdiagnosed by another GI, she promptly ordered testing and proved I did not have this life threatening condition the other doctor said. Appointments are easy to get when needed quickly, staff is very friendly. Highly recommend this Doctor.

It took more than year and half to send me a unpaid balance bill. The office manager told that they are understaffed and behind. Not going back to this office.

I have had an appt for a month I had a referral from my doctor for a colonoscopy and I know they have a certain procedure so when I called to confirm and ask what I need to do next the women was rude argumentative and actually said my doctor gave me wrong and was no help I would not recommend this office.

My family member recently had an appointment with Dr. Gaddipati and after reading the google reviews I thought i would write one. Our appointment was scheduled and we saw Dr. Gaddipati. She listened to what our concerns were and answered our guestions in a way that we could understand. We did not feel rushed and left the office feeling at ease. The office staff acted professional and kind. When they ask for old records or information about your medical history, it is not to torment you, it is simply because insurance companies demand certain information about patient records. If you are looking for a "top notch" GI doctor, I highly recommend Dr. Gaddipati. Wanted 2nd opinion from her upon leaving Advent hospital ED/Admit, endoscopy, and gastric emptying study. First available appointment was 2 months away. Office staff seemed uncaring.

I never even got to meet the doctor. I scheduled the appointment 2 months out. Then a week prior to my appointment they called wanting records from 10 years ago that I didn't have. They were rude and insistent I come to the office to sign releases prior to my appointment. I have insurance that pays for specialists without a referral, so I do not understand why I cannot see the doctor for a consult for my symptoms? I was told the doctor was very nice by a doctor who recommended this doctor, but after reading all these reviews and seeing how inept and rude the office staff is, I won't be going there. Doctors haven't been hiring the cream of the crop these days. Myself and other friends of mine are always seeing this bad behavior in various medical offices. It is really a shame that the staff can't be nicer to the patients. And it seems to be getting worse as time goes by. My fear is that the doctors are hiring their staff for cheap hourly wages and as the saying goes, "you get what you pay for." Many of the younger ones just don't care anymore about their jobs or the patients they are supposed to serve. I worked in a very well-known derm office for 11 years and the same held true then. It is very sad. I quit going to offices with a non-caring staff. I may like the doctor, but if the staff is non-caring or rude, I don't go back. I did not have a good experience at this office at all. Prior to me having my surgical procedure everyone was nice. After I received the surgical procedure I was in fact more ill. When I expressed it to the doctor and staff they seemed to not care. I was never fully better from the treatment method at all. I was in fact called by staff to ask why I needed an appointment. I found her to be cold and uncaring. She told my husband he could continue to drink beer even though he has Crohn's . I found her to be less than competent. Her visits in hospital were cold and unfeeling and sometimes rude. I have found a better doctor for my husband and would never recommend her to any of my friends or family

Horrible office staff. This provider really cares. About getting paid.

Never saw the doctor. Didn't get a chance to. They scheduled us an appointment 3 months out, then called a week before the appointment to tell us that we had to fill out a form for records and would not work with me on how to pick up the forms or switching appointment times due to work schedule. I canceled that appointment and called the Center for Digestive Health the same day. The Center for Digestive Health was not only able to get me an appointment within two weeks, they also didn't try to pull any bull about forms and was more than willing to work around scheduling issues. Never had a chance to see the doctor the office staff had me and my mom come in to sign release papers to get medical records from our previous doctor two months ago and never herd bacd to get an and appointment for forst visist. Called the office back the person stated there was no record of us ever coming into the office, told her wr came in about June to sign medical releases. She said they didn't keep that type of paper work. Asked for new patient appointment stated it would be in January 2017 for next new patient appointment. Didn't like the way front desk staff keep records or follow up with new patients called another GI and got new patient appointment for mom and myself for September 13, 2016. Dr. Gaddipati may want to check on her office staff no telling how many new patients have been treated in this same maner. Melissa was an incredible help, she directed me to where I needed to go with the treatment procedure, & she helped me understand a little bit about my prolonging stomach issue. I have been seeing Dr. Gaddipati for the past 14 years. She has always been professional, carrying and easy to talk to. My neighbors also are patients of hers and love her. My husband just left his GI Dr. and became her patient this week. He was very impressed.

Don't seek an outside/second opinion when she is your Primary GI MD. She will not allow you to come back to her office for appointments/care. I learned from personal experience. I had heard an MD in Orlando was doing a new medication plan for my condition and wanted to check it out. Went to go see him and found out he was not doing the new medication plan, so I wanted to reschedule with Dr. Gaddipati. Office said they do not allow patients to come back after seeing other MD. Very sad.

Dr. Gaddipati has always been very thorough and willing to explain anything regarding my care. She is a very caring Physician and I would highly recommend her to anyone needing a Gastroenterologist. I will miss having her as my Physician now that I have moved to Georgia.

Dr Gaddipati has been my gastroenterologist for at least 15 years. She is very professional, knowledgeable and has been awesome with me. She started in Deltona, but moved her practice to Lake Mary and I drive that distance because she is the BEST!

Rude and Curt... Arrogant and seemed to have difficulty listening to patient and family during consultation. Verbally snapped at wife and patient during consult. Was upset and appeared angry when questions were asked prior to procedure.

My Experience with Dr Gaddipati was a good rapor and through exam. I felt well cared for she was very compassionate. I really Liked her. How ever the office person, comes off curt, shot and as if your are a bother to her. It would seem I have an outstanding balance of $45 dollars after thousands of dollars worth of services, which I was unaware of seeing I paid all my co pays up front, there has been an insurance issue. I figured I would take care of it and deal with my insurance company when I arrived for my appointment. (I just got out of the hospital ) Anyways she refused to make me an appointment until the bill was paid. I offered my credit card she said they don't except credit cards, so now I would have to get my sick self out of bed and come to the office and pay seeing I needed an ASAP appointment... Dr.Gaddipati is an expert in the field of Gastroenterology....I have had 2 much needed colonoscopies performed by Dr.Gaddipatti , without any problems. Dr.Gaddipati is thoroughly informed of my medical history along with my family background. I have seen patients of different ages in the waiting room, and all have spoken very highly of the care they receive at her office.

On my first visit, I heard her in the next room over speaking down to a patient that sounded like she wasn't following the doctors treatment plan and thought it was just a non-compliant patient but then she came in to my room and spoke the same way to me. I was so upset when I left her office and more confused than when I walked in, I did not return and would not recommend anyone to this office.
