Mr. Kalvin Kunal Kapoor

I was reluctant to see him after reading multiple negative reviews. First time to a Psych doctor and he asked questions and was thorough. I felt heard, and comfortable that I can take medication in my treatment and if it needed to change he would be able to support that treatment plan. You should go to him if you need help because he will help you, not only the way you need but listen to what you believe you need and basically do that.

Don’t use him. Doesn’t listen and doesn’t respond to Emails unless it’s about appointments

He tried to prescribe me an antipsychotic for something I’m not even diagnosed with. I told him I wasn’t comfortable taking the drug because he didn’t explain it to me, or ask any questions about what I was experiencing. When I told him I was uncomfortable and asked for a different option he literally told me to find a different doctor… He didn’t even ask me my symptoms or medical or psychiatric history. He also didn’t even remember me even though we already met. Very unprofessional and scary experience with this doctor, avoid him for your own good.

Very straightforward and to the point. I love how nice the staff are and how attentive Dr.Kapoor is.

I go to a Dr. because I need one who can help me & will listen to me. Dr. Kapoor has always has been that Dr. The entire staff is included in how much I want to say Thank you & I appreciate all of you.

Good Psychiatrist

Dr. Kapoor is a very special man. He cares about his patients and truly listens. He is brilliant when it comes to what he does. 5 stars doesn't give him justice, wish I could give him 10! Thank you for your care Dr. Kapoor!

Very bad office staff, Don't bother to even try to see this doctor, useless

Does not inform patient and family of patients whats is going on while in the mental facility. UHMC pavillion
