Looking for a pulmonologist since mine retired… I go to Dr Sharma and this Dr spent a good amount of time with me… I mean he is asking me questions about my 2 issues and giving me solutions. He said something that stopped me in my tracks … he said we are the same age so map out plans for 30 plus years not short term plans….technology and healthy habits will keep us. As a youthful 65 that opened my eyes. Taking his advice on my allergies and it’s working. Offered to help me get another CPAP machine if I want. The man was right on point with me and that’s coming from a man who been around the block a few times. Dr. Sharma is a wonderful physician, he treats the whole patient. It’s a gift to have a provider who incorporates the benefits of mindfulness and breathing when treating.

He has been my physician since 2009-2010. He takes care of all my health issues to include asthma, diabetes, migraines just to name a few.

I went in for a follow-up and before I went i was going crazy literally, but the staff was very nice in Doc was the best, the best experience I ever had going to a doctor. I will continue to go there for any and everything he is GREAT!

I just found Dr. Sharma recently while looking or a sleep specialist and I must say I'm very happy thus far. He's a very personable guy with an open mind and training/schooling from all over the world. Last week I had an 8:30am appointment to draw blood and I was in my car by 8:39am. Doesn't get any more efficient that that!

I saw Dr Sharma for the first time the week of March 15, 2021. I was very impressed with the knowledge he had on "RLS", restless leg syndrome. At the age of 19, I began struggling with RLS, I am now 64. If anyone struggles with RLS, you know how it takes any quality of life away from you. It effects your body, and mind. RLS can also cause depression, anxiety, and constant leg and arm movements. RLS has kept me up for 3 months straight, with little more than 2-3 hours of sleep a night. It is a very difficult disease, anyone that has it knows that no 2 people are alike with symptoms. What works for some does not work for others. It is not easy to diagnose. Dr. Sharma also has RLS, and can truly relate to the problem. I would not wish this RLS on anyone, but it was a comfort for me to know that he knew just what I was talking about. The staff was amazing and everyone was very welcoming. Dr. Sharma is worth the drive no matter where you are from. Together we are going to find the best thing that works for controlling my RLS. Made an appointment for my mother to see Dr. Sharma. You could not ask for a better doctor. He was so down to earth, very personable, and very professional. He was very thorough, asked questions, and took the time to hear my mothers complaints. He thoroughly checked her out, drew blood labs, explained her new meds and discussed plan of care. She also has another appointment to see him next week for a follow-up. The Staff was also friendly and welcoming. Very clean office , easy to find, and plenty of parking spaces ???? After one visit to Dr. Sharma's office I felt like I had hit the jackpot! The staff is welcoming, the doctor is very knowledgeable and his Np is as well. I was amazed to be informed that the practice will be offering a mind, body, spirit program that can cater to my needs spiritually and mentally as well as physically. I have been a patient with Dr Sharma for years, Hes a great Dr for all your needs and A great person, he takes time to listen and talk about your problems and concerns , never had a problem or bad visit , i would recommend Dr Sharma to every one , either Oak forest or mokena offices , both are great ??

Doctor got very defensive and told me to find another doctor because I was complaining that his office staff called me 40 minutes before my appointment today to reschedule for 45 minutes later. I made accommodations with my own clients to do so, to only wait for over an hour to finally be seen. He gave me a speech about what a great doctor he is and that he can't control how long he sees his patients for. And because I didn't say anything to support his statement, he told me to leave and find another doctor. When egos are involved in a professional environment, it can be a disaster for the provider. My wife and I thank you God bless doctor Sharma for your help.. I appreciate all the assistance that you been help me through the time since I've had my open heart surgery.. I had problems with my blood sugar also with my blood pressure. Now my blood pressure is 115 / 75. My blood sugar is at 88 to 105. Working with doctor sharma help me through the process of all this pain and aggravation that I was going through after open heart surgery with all the problems of having now today I feel brand new and I think God that I met doctor sharma is very knowledgeable in pain... I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Sharma. I came to him with sleep issues and instead of medications right away, he worked on meditation and relaxation techniques. Additionally, he doesn't rush through appointments and really takes his time.

Dr. Sharma is a good doctor. He's not looking to put you on extensive medications thats unnecessary like most doctors. He also offer alternative solutions such as meditation counseling for anxiety. I recommend this doctor for pulmonary and sleep issues. Thanks doctor if your reading this!

Words cannot express the gratitude I hold for this man. I am a 22-yo pharm student who has RA,insomnia, andgastroparesis w/ heartburn. I came to Dr to have my life-long insomnia managed. He is so much more than that. He told me he was the equivalent of 5 doctors in 1 - and he is as indicated by the long list of credentials. Furthermore, he did it to improve patient care - and he does. With one sleep study and some labs, he concluded I had restless leg syndrome, low iron (both common in RA), and my insomnia was actually caused by anxiety. Pills galore right? Not in the way you'd think. Dr. Sharma has expressed medications are good for the short-term, but for the long-term and health of the mind and body, the treatment was meditation. Unorthodox, right? Yes; BUTITWORKS. I was a 22-yo maxed out on Ambien CR for 4 years who STILL wasn't sleeping well and waking up dangerously drowsy. I have been off that medication for 3 months and SLEEP and wake up REFRESHED and I can't thank him enough!

If I could give no stars I would. He is a horrible employer . DO NOT WORK FOR HIM ! It is not full time. You will be lucky if you work a 8 hour shift at his practice. When he takes his trips out of town you will be out of work until he come back. And you can be fired without reasoning. OVERALL HORRIBLE EMPLOYER !

Compassionate doctor! Really takes the time to explain everything thoroughly...above and beyond. He looks at the patient as a whole (an actual person!) and evaluates the best plan from there. Highly recommended...caring, flexible, and highly-trained. What medicine should be!

I seen 5 doctors and a hospital visit ..Also with a caugh I just couldn’t get rid for16 weeks .. my family doctor said I needed to go see dr. Sharma Witch my wife has gone to ...with the best of care you can only experience.. with his vast experience he new what I had right away. He gave me meds and in 3 days I was feeling great. He has actually cared for each of us in a way that only someone who is as extremely intelligent could. He really listens, takes time with his patients and provides excellent care along with a huge dose of genuine compassion. He cared for my elderly parents for years with such compassion--as if they were his own family. He has helped me tremendously as I have progressed from being a caregiver to my parents to a grieving daughter. To ease my anxiety and sadness, he suggested learning meditation. Doctor took the time to teach me the scientifically proven and medically approved, Harvard Health meditation and proper breathing techniques. Dr Sharma is one of the best Dr's I know of. I couldn't breath went to 2 different Dr's to find the cause. 1 of the Dr's was out of Rush. Finally went to Dr. Sharma, he told me what the problem was. After being on Oxygen for over 4 years ,once the problem was figured out I was off the oxygen in a year. He also figured out that I had MS. Great Dr. I would recommend him to everyone.

Very smart and compassionate doctor. He was the only doctor able yo dx and expertly treat my asthma condition. He spent a considerable amount of time with me, going over his recommendations, rx’s, and even offering me samples. I trust him entirely that he will give me the help and relief I need.

After years of sinus problems due to a deviated septum I decided to have something done. I went to doctor Shur and discovered that I also had polyps in each of my sinus cavities. The surgery was completed without any problems. Dr. Shur corrected the deviated septum and polyps. I was told that there was a possibility that the polyps could grow back which they did after 2 years. I had a second surgery to remove the polyps that had returned. Dr. Sharma is kind, attentive and skilled. He spends real time with his patients and is NOT an in-and-out doctor. I started with Dr. Sharma to manage my apnea issues, but increased to my GP as well because he is just that good of a doctor.

My experience with this doctor was awful! After waiting over and hour and a half I was greeted by the Dr. who was absolutely beyond description. After explaining I had testing somewhere else and had checked with his staff before my appointment that they had received them, he stated that he did not have them and I should lower my expectations for my healthcare! I immediately left his office. After leaving the staff called and stated they did have my results. I did not return!

Dr. Sharma is a knowledgeable man who takes care of all of my health needs. He treats me like a friend, but is still professional. He even allows patients to call his cell phone at any time, and takes time to address any issues I have. Waiting times are a little long, but very, very worth it. I have never had a doctor like Dr. Sharma-- I wish I had heard of him sooner!!

Dr. Sharma has the most wonderful bedside manner around. He explains everything and always takes the time to make sure you fully understand what is going on. In the 6 years that I have been seeing him I have never had an issue with getting an apt. or getting a response from him or his staff. I would recommend Dr. Sharma to anyone!
