Dr. Parkinson and his team could not have been better. They are great communicators, friendly, empathetic, experienced, and highly skilled. I recommend them without reservation. If I could give them more than five stars, I would do it!

Summit Urology no longer has a.Bountiful office. The nearest location is by Salt Lake Regional Hospital. Dr. Parkinson moved out of state. Bountiful has lost a great Urologisr! Dr. David Henderson is a great Urologist also. He practices by Lakeview Hospital. I highly recommend him!

The experience was great! Strange to say that about someone removing parts of my body, but the high level of service, prioritization of comfort and relaxation, and even the honesty was just incredible.

I went there a little nervous and during the procedure, I realized there was no reason. The staff made me feel comfortable and Justin Parkinson is easygoing and explains everything simply in as much or as little details as you want. Everyone is super professional. The procedure is totally painless. I really mean painless. If the doctor did not say he is about to do apply the anesthetic you would not notice anything specific. After that, you really feel nothing and just chat with Justin. I am now seven hours after the procedure and there is no pain whatsoever while I did not get the additional long lasting numbing shot they offer. I am not going to reveal my personal activities in the past seven hours but you can get back into action the same day. If you know you do not want to have kids anymore, there is no reason nor excuses to wait while having your lady take the pill or go through way more complicated and nasty contraceptive procedures. I should have done this 15 years ago. Thanks.

great doctor. horrible staff. 45 minute hold times with apathetic, rude, inconsiderate and impatient responses. My surgery went fine but I would never want to deal with the reception personnel again.

The guy only talks to you for 5 minutes if even that. Then he just runs out of the room as quick as he can not even caring to answer any questions or concerns you might have. He doesn’t listen to what you have to say and interrupts you mid way just to say something irrelevant. If i’m paying money and waiting multiple weeks to see someone i expect them to not rush the appointment into being only 5 minutes long and then running out of the room as quickly as he can before the patient can even ask a question. Had to wait for 45 minutes after my appointment time to be taken back to the room for my test. Dr did test quickly & gave results & left. Didn’t ask if I had questions. Also, what he told me was the complete opposite of what his PA told me two weeks earlier. Not too sure I’ll return.

This review is a result of several dealings with the office staff and multiple incidents where I needed to be seen due to chronic kidney infections. Last week I had to visit the Instacare due to fever, rapid heart rate, chills and muscle soreness and the general malaise. The doctor at the instacare was great. They did all of the necessary tests and verified that I indeed had a kidney infection. I was given 3 days of IV antibiotics and a 7 day, twice a day regiment of antibiotics. Improvement definitely was noted but after the 7th day I started going backwards and not feeling well. This is when I decided to call Dr. Parkinson for an appointment. Keep in mind I've been in sepsis twice and hospitalized for this chronic issue and was in bad shape. My infections tend to come on rapidly and I know how my body reacts to the infections based on experience. Dr. Parkinsons office staff have never been of any help or seem to care about you or sympathize even a little bit. The person that answered the phone said "you need to come in and give a urine sample then we can get you seen in three days. This is their standard response whenever I call. I explained everything that has happened over the course of the last week and a half. Three days, with a weekend in between, turns into 5 days with no more antibiotics and my body continually getting worse. Whenever you request to speak with the doctor they make excuses and you never get to talk to him. My history with this doctor and staff goes back several years, so they have my history and know what happens with my infections. The gal that answered, again stated that the best I can do is get you in in three days. I guess an Instacare visit this weekend will more than likely be happening. This staff does this time and time again and refuse to listen to you or work with you when you're literally telling them how bad the infection was/is and how it progresses, which should be in my records. They would have to actually look at them to see that though. My impression is that the staff just doesn't want to help out and are lazy in my opinion. I suggested that the doctor could call me in a prescription of the antibiotic that was working for me but a longer regiment. The denied that request without even speaking to the doctor, which I again asked to speak to but nothing came of that request. They simply stated I had to submit the urine sample and will give me an antibiotic at my appointment next week. Something or some kind of antibiotic would be a big help for me over the weekend so the infection doesn't get out of hand and I go into full blown sepsis. I get more and more frustrated with the staff every time I need to see the doctor. How does someone just blow off what you're saying when their job is patient care?? Wish me luck in my search for a different doctor with a good office staff, I've had it here. Everything went fine. got there at 8:30 wasn’t supposed to be there till 845. Went immediately in to the prep area and surgery was scheduled for 1045 but patient ahead of me needed more time so after visiting with antithesis and doctor Parkinson was able to start surgery sooner. Was told what to expect and what was going to happen. Nurses were very good and helpful. Was told the surgery would be three hours. which it was. after surgery they told me what to do to make an appointment the next day and drink lots of fluids. I reported at the office the next day to have the catheter removed. When I called and made the appointment I asked what I needed to do for the follow up. The Receptionist said that when they remove the catheter they would tell me what to do. Went to the appointment had the Catheter removed. Forgot to ask when they come back they just said if I couldn’t Urinate to come back and have the captor put in for a few days I went home couldn’t urinate that day but the next day I was able to and I’m still able to still a little bloody but haven’t heard if I need to follow up thought it would be nice if Dr. Parkinson would’ve came in after surgery and told me what to expect how long I should wait before I started to pee. Dr. Parkinson was through in explaining my procedure and in completing the procedure.

Waiting time was short. The care was very professional and I felt safe. Dr. Parkinson was excellent describing the procedure as it was being performed. The procedure was completed quickly and efficiently. The doctor left immediately after and I would have liked to ask some questions. I will have to wait until the lab results are back.

Dr. Parkinson is one of the best doctors I’ve ever had, he is very personable he explain a every thing he is doing or going to be doing in layman’s terms so that you understand it. His bedside manner is the best, wish more doctors were like him!!

Dr Parkinson is an awesome urologist and surgeon. He performed a TURP on me and I was seriously on my feet that night and was feeling great. The next day his staff removed the catheter and I was as good as new. His bedside manner is awesome, his staff is great!

Amazing doctor and practice! The front desk and nurse were very nice. Dr Parkinson was so kind and helpful. He listened carefully and laid out a plan for treatment. He is so friendly and made me feel comfortable right from the minute he walked in. I HIGHLY recommend him. Wonderful doctor and staff.

Scheduling was a breeze, great appointment where all my questions were answered, and surgery went very well. Pain after procedure was very minimal. Would highly recommend him to everyone

I was very anxious and nervous about the procedure but from the moment I walked into the consult, they made me feel comfortable. They made sure to answer any of my questions. Explained what I would feel at every moment. Other than the small pinch feeling from the local anesthetic, I did not feel a thing at all. The doctor did an excellent job. I am at two days from the procedure and have not experienced any pain.

I would recommend this clinic to anyone. I was pretty nervous, but the Doctor and staff were great at helping me to relax. The procedure was very quick, and I walked out with zero pain and was able to drive myself home. Top notch operation!

What a joke

Saw his PA which was fine. Was told 3 months ago to come in...turns out for nothing. For a Dr to expect you to pay $50 to come in, have him glance at a paper, then tell you you’re fine and to go home is ridiculous. The staff was nice enough. Wait time reasonable

I was impressed with Dr Parkinson, knowledge and experience. He was also patience and understanding. He listened to my concerns and my medical history. And explained how he could help me. I appreciate him taking the time to explain to me the options and for me to decide what to do.

Dr Parkinson is great. I was seeing him for the first time, but with a history of kidney stones. Thank you for not making me take every test all over again. Staff is super kind as well. Only downside is the Radiology dept. Waited 30 min to get x-rays
