Dr. Justin Lee Elder

Dr. Elder has been my ENT since he began his practice here in Rehoboth Beach, DE. His practice eventually grew into a different realm including cosmetic surgery, so when needing facial enhancement, I knew from past experience how organized and perfecting he was in his chosen field. So when I had a basal call carcinoma removed from my left nasal area, Dr. Elder skillfully did a fantastic cosmetic build up of the area. It healed beautifully taking 2 months to heal, but a scar is barely visible!

Giving one star because system doesn't allow zero stars. I was only able to obtain an appointment to see the nurse. I wanted to rule out a medical problem for my hearing loss. I saw the nurse. Told I was fine medically and told to schedule an appointment with the audiologist which I did. The audiologist confirmed hearing loss which was unilateral and told me that I had needed to rule out a medical problem such as a tumor. I was unable to schedule an appt with doctor, so I schedule an appointment with nurse. First appt was a month in the future. When I showed up for appt, I was told that my appt was at 2 PM not 1 PM. I disagreed. Receptionist didn't know what to do. Told me to wait. While I waited for 15 minutes, I spoke with two other patients who were told that their appointments were at times other what they had in their calendars. After 15 minutes, I left and scheduled an appointment with an ENT DOCTOR in Newark, DE.

Went for visit to ascertain why presence of mass in both sides of neck. His report says they developed suddenly but I told him they had been here for over 4 years. Also, his report states "Tinnitus - No" after I even tried to emulate the sound frequency the tinnitus was in my right ear and that I had to sleep with TV on to distract my brain from the noise since 1975. His report states "No neck mass. No neck pain." which is the reason I sought his services. And what really pulled my chain is that he states under Exam portion Hearing: AD hearing (by gross reception and tuning fork exam) right ear diminished." There was no hearing test, and most certainly no tuning fork testing done. Under Exam, Lips, Teeth , Gums: No dental abnormalities. I wear complete dentures due to bone loss from osteo necrosis (explained to him that caused jaw bone loss) Under Oropharynx: Normal Tonsils. Extracted by Navy medical at age of 6. I can not speak to the accuracy of the throat or ear exams.

I’m so F***** pissed off with Cape ENT I was supposed to have an appointment with Justin Elder on February 6th then the day before I get a call saying that he has an emergency surgery on the 6th so the next earliest next time they could get me in was February 25th so then on February 21st I get a call saying he has an emergency surgery on the 25th and has to reschedule when I get a call in the 20th confirming the appointment so I go there in person to talk to them I went up to the window to talk to the receptionist and she was playing a game on her phone not aware that was standing there and I didn’t knock on the window because I wanted to see how long it would take her to notice and luckily my fiancé was with me and I told him I was going to sit down before I say something bad that could put me in handcuffs and my fiancé was explaining my situation and the receptionist said oh it’s probably post nasal drip and my fiancé said it’s not post nasal drip there’s blood and I’ve been to another dr and she didn’t do s*** so the receptionist called her manager of course because she couldn’t deal with the pressure I understand dr’s have emergency surgery’s but I find it weird that I get a call the day before the day confirming my appointment and then all the sudden I get a call saying he can’t see me and usually a dr. Knows and sets up an emergency surgery a day or 2 days before so the patient gets the time to understand what’s going on if it’s such an emergency he should have done the surgery on the 19th or 20th so why wait until the 25th this is Bull S*** and I would not recommend him to anyone there is no reason that this should happen and I’m going to look for another otolaryngologists so I have a back up plan just in case this S*** happens again and if it does happens again they will see the light before they get old. I would never do any physical harm but I would verbally put them through hell and they will see the wrath of me and my anger will just make them see the light. They pay a receptionist to play games on her phone what a bad F***** employee. That’s all I have to say because I could literally go on and on, I could Wright a book about how bad this business is.

Wonderful Dr, can’t go wrong with this one. Had Wharton’s tumor removed Dr Elder was soooo skilled removing and hardly left a scar: THE BEST

Dr. Elder is extremely thorough, very bright and has an excellent bedside manner. He removed my 5 yr old son's tonsils today and my son came out smiling. He is truly the best! I highly recommend him.

Total thyroidectomy was nothing short of miraculous. I had the utmost faith and trust in Dr. Elder from the first time I met him and he sure did honor my faith! His surgical team was unbelievable. I'm truly blessed to have found such a skilled surgeon. His care was exceptional!! The healing has been absolutely amazing! There is no scar at all. The members of his staff are outstanding! Brandie and Alan are truly angels of mercy! All should know what a phenomenal surgeon Dr. Justin is.

I was seen in his office and totally impressed with him and his staff. 5star service from front door entrance to exit! I would recommend him highly to everyone

Dr Elder is caring and professional. He explains clearly the issue involved in a genuine,caring manner.He presents as a very confident and assured physician ,which in turn is comforting to the patient.

I have been suffering with bad nosebleeds for years and Dr. Elder is the only one that did anything about it! Everyone in his office was very professional and very nice I would recommend him highly!
