Dr. Brown has been excellent explaining my condition (diabetic retinopathy) and treating the condition with an injection. He and his assistant Sarah have been very kind and patient always concerned with my comfort and addressing any fears or concerns I might have. I feel extremely fortunate to have found this practice.

I am very grateful to have found Dr. Brown after discovering wet macular degeneration in one eye and seeing two prior retina specialists whose lack of communication skills and empathy left me feeling very unsupportive with this scary new diagnosis. I am happy to say that the plan of action we mutually agreed upon is working well and my vision is stabilizing. My mother recently saw this MD and he gave her a pretty life jarring diagnosis. But instead of offering her support, information, and a little empathy, he wrote the name of her condition on a business card and told her to Google it and take some vitamins. She felt rushed and like no one there wanted to give her answers so now we are searching for another provider who might actually at least act like they care. Very disappointed. I have been going to Dr. Brown for several years. I wouldn't want to be seen by anyone else dealing with my particular medical situation. Always interested in your overall health, polite and informative of your situation.

For over a year I complained to my eye doctor about the loss of vision in my right eye. She (Mount Holly Eye Clinic) had a couple of explanations mainly it would correct on its own. Finally she sent me to Dr Brown thinking he would confirm what she said. However, I had a hole in my retina and everything I had been complaining to my eye doctor about where signs! I have been seeing. Dr Brown for four years. I would recommend him to anyone seeking for a good eye doctor.

Dr. Brown and his team are phenomenal. He is a highly skilled physician and you can be confident he will deliver the results he coveys to you.

Dr. Brown shows genuine care and concern for his patients. The staff is also friendly and caring. I would definitely recommend this practice and this doctor, especially, to family and friends.

Dr Brown is an excellent highly trained retina specialist and Charlotte is very fortunate to have him. He repaired my detached retina and did a laser treatment on my other eye. Very professional bedside manner and his staff is wonderful.

Dr. Brown and his staff are friendly, and he puts the patient at ease while discussing very serious eye health conditions. He follows the patients health history and includes that in the eye treatment plan. Everything is connected. He explains the information well.

I was in a major motor vehicle accident and my right eye was damaged badly. I lost the vision in my eye. I went to one retina specialist who I did not feel comfortable with. I called Charlotte ENT and scheduled an appointment with Dr. Brown. I felt comfortable with him from the very beginning! After running tests and examining me, he was able to tell me and show what happened to my eye in great detail. He also told me what we could do to restore my vision. He performed my surgery today and it was successful. Dr. Brown is a wonderful physician! I do not know many physicians that will tell you that he is going to refer to another physician to conduct your second surgery because they are better at it. Dr. Brown is not only a no-nonsense, very adept physician, he is a comforting and caring gentleman. I have met him twice and both times I was terrified regarding the health of my right eye. Both times he calmed me. The second time I met this wonderful man, he had CREATED A SPACE in his schedule for me. Because he cares... As an adult woman in SoCal I was married to a Family Practitioner. I was exposed to doctors and their spouses almost daily for eighteen years. He worked me into his schedule even though I was late for my appointment. He's always polite and relateable.

While I hope no one else has to go through what I did after my optical stroke and temporarily lost my vision, I would highly, if not strongly recommend Dr. Brown to anyone. Highly professional. No problems at any time. The whole practice is top notch

The staff are very courteous, know how to treat their patients with respect, this is just the eye clinic to be a part of. Dr. Brown was patient, listen attentively to me and show concern about my eyes condition. He even gave me a box of vitamins and minerals to take for my eyes to help improve my sight.
