This is a classic example of incompetence hiding behind a sub-specialty. This self-described 'physiatrist' has the flabbergasting impertinence to declare, in no uncertain terms, that the common disc bulge—with its concomitant nerve impingement and pain, cannot be treated with exercise and stretching. According to Dr. Ahn, "You cannot treat a spinal condition on the inside except through surgery." According to Dr. Ahn, there is no conservative treatment or physical therapy cure for a disc bulge!
