Dr. June Shao Withers

Dr June is very professional and takes great care of her patients. My wife and I both highly recommend her. She is patient and very good at treating patients efficiently. Thank you so much for everything Dr June.

Update in 2022: After 3 years I got a response from the doctor Withers. She still doesn't understand why she deserves a 1star review. It is not about the money, but about her rudeness and coldness. I got my armpit swollen so I went to her office for the first time, she ordered an Ultrasound for me and she was nice helping me make an appointment at a hospital and I told her that I could only go to a place that accepts my insurance, otherwise I wouldn’t be able to pay it. However I received a huge bill from the hospital so I called Dr. Withers to see if she can help me, I tried to explain the situation, she became immediately very offensive and shouted at me saying it was none of her business and she even didn’t give me a chance to finish my talk and she just kept shouting and hanged up the phone. I have lived in different countries in Asia and Europe, but never met a doctor like her. I don’t understand why she can’t just act as a professional and talk calmly to her patients instead of being so rude. It was the first time a “professional” hanged up the phone on me like that. Good Doctor!

I have been with her for several years. Dr Shao is very nice, kind and professional. The new location is a little bit hard to find.

Dr. June has been our family doctor over 18 years, she always holds high standard as a doctor, and cares of her patient's actual health personally instead of just prescribing to patient what they wanted. She kept a good track of patient's health records to check for chronic conditions that needed attention and would notify you when it is time for regulatory checkups. She knows a wide range of good specialists in the area she can refer you when specialize diagnosis is needed. She also willing to make time to see you in short notice if you are not feeling well but not bad enough to run to ER. We have stayed under her care for so long because we trusted her decisions as we know we are in a good hand. Dr. June is rather rude and does not communicate well with her patients.

Terrible doctor visit experience. Mis-diagnoise and no respect to insurance. I had to do a body exam for the company requirement so I went to her office for the second time, she ordered blood test for me and I told her that I could only go to a place that accepts my insurance, otherwise I wouldn’t be able to pay it. She then made a conclusion after my exam saying I am diebity, which I checked again recently to show that was not true. She asked me to visit her office again for doing nothing, just chatted about 20 mins. Soon I received a huge bill from her which I was not expected for doctor office visit fee. I called Dr. Withers and trying to see if I can have other payment options, she immediately refused and just want to get the full payment right away. I have prime Cigna insurance. It does not sound like a reasonable charge for a doctor visit. Then I decided to visit her at 6/4 Monday afternoon to communicate in person. I waited in front of her office for almost an hour. Did not see her even her schedule said so. I had to move away from Nor Cal, soon, without communication, she sent a letter to threaten me about report to my credit and send me to collection company. I also really don’t recommend her. If you are looking for a reliable doctor, I urge you not to go there. To be a doctor, not to be a business money hunter. Nice doctor!

I have been a patient of Dr Wither's clinic for nearly 3 years and had nothing but positive experience. I have a pre-existing heart condition so need to take pills on regular basis which started to give me some troubles and Dr Withers was great in getting to the root cause of the issue. Anytime I had any health problems Dr Withers demonstrated a real care for my health. I feel some of the below reviews are not fair as it is one's responsibility to check if your insurance covers you for a recommended treatment! I see Dr Withers about 3 times per year on average so thats about 9-10 visits in total and as said all have been great! Very trustworthy doctor who cares! I wish I could provide a lower score. Let's put it this way, this is the worst family doctor you could ever imagine! Avoid this place if you can! 1. She is very rude, very impatient and very gusting! Doesn't want to answer questions and always show gusty faces! 2. She is very inprofessional. The clinic is disordered and so shabby, leaving you the feeling that bacteria can hide anywhere. When she gives injection, she constantly lost sense of what to do next and couldn't find the disinfection cotton. 3. When she deals with documents, you dot feel secure because she is throwing the stuff randomly on the desk. God knows the documents that contain your personal information can be stolen easily. If you're here for immigration issues, try to locate other doctors. If you're here for real physical issues, there are hundreds of doctors available. Please avoid this horrible place! Went here for a regular check after a bad cold. Dr. Withers listened and seemed both competent and pragmatic. I'd describe her as down to earth, not exaggeratedly friendly or formal, but effective; office is a bit small and not fancy by any means. Was I amazed? No! Did I expect to be? No! This place is all right.

Trustfull, knowledgble and caring!

We love Dr. June Shao Withers. She is very attentive and knows to tell the serious infections from the ones that go away by themselves. It's a pity she moved to the new office on El Camino, but we'll keep going there. She has a wonderful way with all four of us: mom, dad and two young children.

The office is old and disgusting. On top of that she is rude. My husband went to her for an injury and she didn't make an effort to get to the root of the problem. Dr. Withers is an exceptional physician. She truly cares about her patients and is always point on with my treatment when needed. I highly recommend her. I never have a wait time. It is rare that he appointments shift into other scheduled client appointments. She is NEVER late for an appointment.

Yikes! GROSS!!! This is the most ghetto office I've been to. Located in the middle of Mountain View downtown - surprising. The office at first looked really ghetto to me: room divider uses pieces of old cloth and there is a massage table in one of the room (?). I told myself to not a book by its cover, so I went through the visit. Her English is broken, and I think she caters a certain crowd (it even sounds strange to me). The most disgusting thing is with the microscope (the scope that doctors use to look into your mouth and nose for inflammation). She sticked it in my mouth and then my nose (skin touching of course), and then I realized the tip was not removable (I double checked before I left: it was all metal and definitely NOT replaceable like the pieces you see at your dentist). Gross! It must have visited many previous patients' nose before it visited my mouth. I have a cold and sorethroat for 2 weeks, so the next patient is screwed. GROSS!! - Lastly, when I first walked in, there was a big signed saying "No credit card. Cash or checks only!!!!!" Yikes! GROSS!!! This is the most ghetto office I've been to.
