Dr. Julio F Schwarz

I can't believe this. I was scheduled for a heart cath. and possible stint at 6:30 a.m. this morning. I'm out in the middle of an ice storm to get to the hospital only to be told that it has been rescheduled for Feb. 14th. I can't get my nerve stimulator battery replaced until I get clearance from this Dr. I have been thru many heart tests and thousands of dollars later I am still in the same place. I moved here from Richmond, VA. and find out Ft. Smith area is no place to be for proper health care. I am 66 yrs. old and have never been in this situation. My wife and I have to try and get back home in this ice storm now. Can't believe I wasn't even worth a phone call.

Everything was fine, people were nice and the doctor was very thorough and friendly

Two years we've spent trying to treat or cure my wife's heart palpitations have been wasted. Two years and my wife has seen the doctor ONCE. Mr. Schwarz needs to revisit med school because his practice is a joke in the community. People gather to tell stories about their visits like ghost stories around a campfire. Horrible just horrible had me get an unnecessary procedure and refusal to send over my medical records

I have never been treated so unprofessionally by a so-called medical professional in my life! I am a retired medical professional myself and I know that we have days where we just aren’t ourselves but you don’t walk into a room and totally dismiss the patient tell them that they don’t know what is wrong with them or what they’re feeling and then schedule them for procedures they don’t need. I went to the doctor for a cardiology release for a surgery that I’m having. I have never had cardiac issues I’ve never had a heart attack I’ve never had shortness of breath I’ve never had chest pain‘s or any cardiac related issues. I did have slightly high blood pressure due to chronic pain over five years ago which has been resolved with knee replacement and a spinal stimulator. In fact I was taken off of blood pressure medicine because my blood pressure was falling to a critical lower level. The first words out of this doctor mouth was you have high blood pressure I need to put you on medication. I tried to explain to him that the reason why my blood pressure was elevated at this appointment was because his nurse became argumentative with me when I told her I cannot medically wear a mask because of anxiety I had supplied a letter to them stating that which I was not supposed to be questioned and I was questioned more than once by this individual. Then he refuses to clear me for my surgery and tells me that I need a stress test and an echocardiogram because I had a heart attack. Never said when I had the heart attack and I’ve never had another doctor tell me I had a heart attack I’ve had EKGs several times over the last five years because of other surgeries I had nobody’s ever said anything about a heart attack but this doctor I had a heart attack I need medicine I need more tests I think he’s just out for the money he didn’t even talk to me he didn’t even listen to a word I said he was very condescending he was very dismissive and truthfully after he walked out of the room I sat there in that room in tears because of the very unprofessional hurtful way he spoke to me and I don’t cry easily. The five star reviews I don’t believe this man cannot get five star reviews and one star reviews unless he’s Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde! If I could give them a zero star I would but I had to at least give them one star to say this. Take my advice if you want good medical care find another cardiologist I’m going to. In and out quickly!

I think he is great, he explained everything to me and answered all of my questions. The past four times that I have visited his office, the waiting times were relatively quick.

Would not refer. Need to have Echocardiogram and Nuclear Stress Test due to some abnormalities in EKG. The problem is they can’t get me in for four months to have these test done. Not acceptable to me. I have other health issues they are aware of and I need answers on my heart a lot sooner than they can provide. Went to another heart dr in town and I am scheduled for these two test in the next two weeks. That’s the kind of treatment I deserve.

They are rude, keep very poor records, and still haven't figured out what is wrong or found a helpful medication after 4 years.

In August of 2018, Julio Schwarz explicitly stated that he did not believe my wife's cardiac symptoms were serious. He looked at her and said "I believe this is anxiety related and that you are hyperventilating to the point of experiencing these effects." For the sake of protecting himself and his license, he referred her to Sparks Medical System (Now Baptist Health) for a tilt table test. While in the middle of the test, my wife's heart completely stopped beating and she flatlined. A month later, she was in the office of a different specialist and the very first thing that was decided, was that my wife needed a pacemaker. Had we relied on Julio Schwarz for our health, my wife might not have the opportunities she does now. His bedside manners are absolutely terrible. He refuses to listen to the patients talking. He is very condescending. And he is absolutely not professional in any way. We will not use Schwarz if we have the choice. Had my first appointment with him today and honestly I've had quite a few cardiologists and he is the first one i feel like will do every thing he can to get to the bottom of my problem love him and his staff

Was seen quickly, the staff and Dr. were kind and professional. I will definitely come back if I ever need a Cardiologist again.

The nurses dont do their jobs and they screw up the appointments I hope they expect to be sued soon!!!!

We have used this doctor for the last time. He is the worst doctor I have ever had the displeasure to meet. He is rude and does not listen to his patients. He tells my other half that he must go into the hospital for an outpatient procedure to check his heart for blockages and if they had to do a stint they would do that right then. They had found a 95 percent blockage and did a stint. A week or so later I take him for his follow up app. And ask them to fill out the part of the paperwork that his office needed to so we could use our short term disability. My other half tells him he is weak and having some chest pains and shortness of breath. He refers him to his general practitioner and refuses to fill out the forms needed. He said it was an elected surgery. And he left the room. Who elects to have heart surgery! We have used this doctor for the last time. He is the worst doctor I have ever had the displeasure to meet. He was rude to my husband when he ask him to explain something he said I already told you that ! He does not speak good english and my husband does not hear good. His NP was also rude the only people nice were at the front desk !! And you will have a long wait after your appointment time .

Great doctor. The previous review is uneducated an flat down STUPID. dr. Schwarz is great!!!!! I highly recommend him.

This specialist has been my md for over a year now and I have only good words to say about him and his staff. I have met a few specialists in the area and he is one of the most caring and shows genuine concern towards his patients.
