Julie Lynn Reihsen

One of the worst experiences I have ever had with a physician. The office looks like a giant billboard full of cosmetic brochures, posters, videos, you can't look anywhere without getting hit with massive marketing. I went to see her to establish care with a new primary care physician and to get clearance for a surgery I had to have with a surgeon in another state because there are no qualified surgeons for my disease. When she came into the room, she said she was just going to concentrate on the surgical clearance and did not appear to have interest in establishing me as a patient. Not at any time did she inquire about my medical history. She asked about my procedure and I told her I was having lipedema debulking surgery for stage for lipedema and after clarifying that I was not saying lymphedema, she thought I was talking about my lips on my face. I tried to explain what it was but she dismissed me with no interest. So she started going through the list of clearance requirements and I mentioned that I would be flying to California for the surgery and she wanted to know who would be helping me here with post surgical care. So I told her, that is why I needed to establish care with a primary care physician. She told me she wouldn't be comfortable with providing that kind of care and I should just find a surgeon here. Again, there aren't any! So she moves on and says she can order the required bloodwork, and I asked her, if she is not familiar with the disease and she isn't comfortable with the post-op care, should I find another doctor? She replied, "yes, you should do that." and then walked out of the room without another word. No sorry I can't help you, or good luck on your surgery, nothing. So I just made my way out and left. She isn't even a decent human being let alone a doctor.

Very efficient check up. Minimal wait time, quickly saw the doctor. Opportunities for potential care highlighted throughout session, but none were pushed upon. Would recommend.

I adore Dr. Julie. She is a straight shooter and will not pull any punches. She truly cares for your health. I love a provider that is a truth teller! I have been going to her for years and will continue to do so!

I am so glad I found Dr. Reihsen. She’s so thorough to ensure she finds the problem…I know that’s her job but you’d be surprised how many doctors I’ve gone to and they were never able to find the issue (asthma) not only is she amazing but her staff is absolutely lovely. Brought my 3 month old today who decided to throw a fit and they were so hands on with wanting to help while I was being attended. I’d recommend to anyone! Can’t wait to bring my husband. She seemed to genuinely Care about my issues and adamant about finding the cause, so we can figure out the correct treatment

Dr. Reihsen is awesome. I have been seeing her for many years. She listens to you and is willing to work with you in the best interest of your health.

If you are looking for a primary Physician, Dr Rheisin has been taking care of me for over 10 years. She always make sure I am healthy and focus on mental state as well. I love her so much and her wonderful staff.

I have been with Dr. Reihsen and Staff over 10 years, I wouldn't change at all,she know her patient I wouldn't change a thing now I live in Duncanville I travel to her office whenever needed videos where the travel time I would not have it any other way very clean environment take care of the patient ,well done.

I travel all the way from south east Arlington to this office. The staff is always friendly, prompt and professional. Love this office and staff!

It was great talking to Dr Reihsen about symptoms and I feel hopeful that Bio identical hormone therapy may help. The required blood work is being done in this office but the required mammogram and bone density test have to be done at Solis. The earliest appt available is Jan 26, 2022. I so appreciate Dr. Reihsen! She is thorough and no nonsense. I appreciate being treated like I matter and that she cares. Most of all i appreciate her directness.

Good service and the staff there are very kind and courteous. My go to doc! Only thing I would say is: the tape used to hold the cotton ball after they draw blood hurts really bad when removing. I know there is better tape out there but this last time it hurt so so bad! I have to make sure next time i go and they need to use tape that is more gentle to my skin. I’ve been seeing her for three years now and she takes great care of me, every visit. My daughter and son see her as well and she’s always been spot on with treatment plans to get us feeling better in no time!

I have been a patient here for years! I really enjoy the efficient service. Dr. The is eh and her staff give truthful answers from a concerned perspective. I have never had to wait long during my visits, and each person makes you feel important.

Dr. Reihsen is great. She has been our family doctor for 20 years now. Her staff is friendly, professional, and efficient. I'm treated as a person, not just a patient.

My mother passed away from covid in April of this year and my father passed away in October. That was expressed when I met with the doctor today, but instead of showing empty, she told me that I need to loose some weight so that I don’t end up like my parents. That was extremely hurtful and disrespectful and I really didn’t appreciate it. So many people are suffering from this awful illness and it would be nice to get some kind of empty from your doctor. I booked an annual exam initially but have been having chest tighntness and pressure for the last four or five days prior. I thought maybe it was the weather changing or my asthma. I really couldn’t put my finger on it. there are signs up in the office that says so talk to your doctor about any of your health concerns or medication refill requests during your visit. So I figured I would mention this. I began to talk to one of the medical assistant/ about the chest pain and pressure that I have been experiencing. She said to me “we cannot talk about that today because you are here for an annual exam“. Now I understand that there are different ways you bill insurance. I am fully aware that an annual exam is covered by my insurance but a detective appointment would be coded differently and that I would have a co-pay. But I think that it is very inconsiderate and poor bedside manner to tell a patient experiencing chest pain and pressure for days that they “can’t talk about it today because it’s an annual exam.” I feel like the most proper thing to do would be to say OK so we will reschedule your annual exam and focus on your matter at hand. I told her that I would have had to lie about how I was feeling when asked in for order to “not talk about it today.” They then billed me $200 because I was “a new patient” then call me back to tell me they made a mistake. Although I was struggling to breathe and have been for 12 days they did not prioritize getting me the results from my chest x-ray which I asked them to order. They did not treat me like a human being with a perhaps urgent situation. I am really disappointed. I hope they do better and re-commit to the oath they take as healthcare workers. Dr. Reihsen is direct and follows up quickly on results. Staff is very friendly.

They did a good job. Front desk people are great. The medical assistant was not as good as some of the others they have had in there before. But Dr Reihsen took time and addressed all my issues and questions and took action to get them taken care of.
