She's extremely knowledgeable, explains everything, I feel very free to ask any questions. She honors my opinions as well. She's helped me through three pregnancies.

She’s a fantastic doctor. Dr. Gavin really cares about her patients health.

I have been going to Dr. Gavin for 10 years now and she is always wonderful. Without hesitation, she helped me when I was going through a very difficult time. She sat with me, listened and immediately took charge of a situation that very easily could have been brushed off as an issue for my primary MD to handle. She truly is an excellent provider and I have full trust in her care! I recommend her to all of my family and friends.

Dr Gavin is rude and impatient. Performed a procedure incorrectly and told me that my fallopian tubes were blocked even when they weren't, ever !

I really liked that the doc took time to sit down and talk with me and listened to me.

Very thorough, knowledgeable, and compassionate OBGYN, Dr. Gavin, amongst an intimate little practice. On my first visit i was led into the doctor's personal office to go over a very detailed history to then proceed with my pelvic exam in the asiding examination room. Allot of material was covered and I asked allot of questions as I delayed doing my annual checkup due to COVID. Really appreciate the doctor trying to do so much all in one patient visit. A great Obgyn, however anytime they call me they actually call my mother or my sister and I believe that is wildly inappropriate! Constantly sending me bills for missed appointments that I cancelled over 24hrs in advance.

So rude, she interrupts you after everything and treats you like you're just as number. After my twin pregnancy my body was going through changes that I was concerned about so I reached out to the doctor. She had called me back and was extremely rude, she treated me like I was stupid... her receptionist basically told me to give her a break because she was delivering all weekend... give me a break! Down to earth, reasonable, compassionate and relatable doctor who actually listens and comes up with solutions.

The best ob around town! They are friendly, clean and they get you in and out. Dr. Julie Gavin is the absolute best

When I found out I was pregnant. I decided I wanted to leave my Obgyn and go to Julie Gavin because she came highly recommend by my co workers. I called and asked if she was accepting new patients and was told yes. I was directed to print the application out and then email it to them. I did as directed and never was called back. 2 weeks went by and I contacted her office inquiring about my application. I was told they never received it. So I decided I would just drop the paperwork of. I spoke with the receptionist and was told “I am sick today and I am leaving within the hour, but u can slide the application under the door”. I came there and dropped the application off. Only to not hear from them for another 2-3 weeks. I received a phone call and was asked why was I leaving my previous obgyn. I also was told she still needed to see if they accepted my insurance. I was told I would recieve a call back. I never received a call back. I think the receptionist assumed I was a problem patient and just decided not to process me. I know they accept my insurance since my coworker and I have the same insurance. I am just not pleased with how I was treated. I never even met the doctor. Very disappointing. When I found out I was pregnant. My first visit with her was fine; she seemed like she cared. However, every time after that I went to see her, my experience wasn't the greatest. I had to wait at least an hour before seeing her. It's very hard to communicate with her when she interrupts you constantly. I would express my concern about certain pregnancy induced things and she either dismissed them or did not listen to everything I was saying, again she interrupted constantly while I talked. She said one thing on one visit and another on another visit. She told me certain things were not pregnancy induced, yet they were (after finding my own answers). The office made too many mistakes and I wasn't willing for them to make mistakes with my child on the way. They wrote me a script for high blood pressure when It was supposed to be prenatal, then I went for my second trimester sonogram and the script was for 1st trimester so I had to get that taken care of. The doctor sent a script at my pharmacy and I wasn't even informed about it, I had to find out myself. I took the test for gestational diabetes (which, I thankfully passed), but the office/doctor did not inform me of my results until I called them & the nurse/receptionist didn't have any answers so we had to assume that I passed it. They called 3 weeks later, but by then, I already knew. I like to get information and do research of my own (because doctors don't know everything and are prone to making mistakes just like all human beings are) so at the visit, when I put information on my own to find more about it later, the doctor seemed like she didn't like it and made sarcastic comments. I didn't feel good about it. After all this, I couldn't move forward with them or depend on their service anymore because If she didn't or couldn't show up on the day of my delivery, then I get stuck with a random person and I didn't want that. I just couldn't trust them anymore. The receptionists and nurses were nice but I wish they were more careful about sending out scripts and communicating. The doctor isn't "terrible", she did show some care but I wish she had better listening skills and showed more care about patient's concerns. I have nothing personal against them. Maybe this doctor deals differently with different patients. But I couldn't trust her with my health and pregnancy. My first visit with her was fine; she seemed like she cared. She is amazing!

Wonderful, caring doctor. She is the best!

I’ve been seeing Dr Gavin for many many years, as I have teenagers now. I’ve never once received care that was anything other than exceptional, personal, professional, etc. She potentially saved my life.

I would hands down recommend Dr.Gavin to any woman! She is an amazing doctor always willing and happy to go above and beyond ! So thankful to have found her.

Love it here. My first visit I was very nervous with this being my first pregancy but Jean made me feel more than welcome. I love walking in and seeing her she makes me laugh and feel right at home. Dr. Gavin is amazing I've been a emotional rollercoaster and she's held my hand through it all. Im thankful for both of them.

Dr. Julie Gavin is BY FAR the best doctor I have been with. I have been with the practice for over 5 years now & she delivered both of my daughters at Sisters. Dr. Gavin was extremely supportive and helpful while I dealt with pp depression, and has ALWAYS put my needs first. If I could give her more stars I would.

Dr Gavin is hit or miss with me. But the misses are enough that I am switching. She never seems to remember who I am or my past history. You do have a chart containing all of this...you should read up before walking into the room. Can be extremely condescending. Rushes appointments by interrupting me or assuming she knows what I’m about to say. If she could slow down and listen I think it would go a long way. I do not doubt her intelligence, she is extremely smart. But she needs to ease your mind when you have concerns, not brush them off and move on. I have been there 1-1.5 hours from waiting so long at least 3 times in my last pregnancy. The secretary Jean is extremely nice to your face...but is a bully to the other office staff. I couldn’t believe the rude things coming from her mouth and even worse being in front of patients. I could say say much more...but all that matters is I would NOT recommend her.

Amazing woman, amazing doctor.

Love her! Very knowledgeable and a great patient advocate.

Amazing doctor. She was welcoming to my whole family who almost all go to her now!!! She cares very deeply about her patients and their babies. She also has a great sense of humor.

Dr Gavin is great! I've been seeing her for at least 4 years and she has always been open to listening to my concerns. She is honest and frank but very caring. She was supportive of my natural birth plan and is very cautious of her patient's health.

Been on two appointments so far and had to wait 25 minutes and a full hour. Probably going to move to a new doctor.

She is professional, engaging and intelligent. Her singular practice is a testament. You don’t need 5 doctors, you just need her. I gave birth to my second child with her, no drugs. She listened to my requests and honored them. Absolutely no complaints from me. Lol, until she told me I was advanced maternal age bc my daughter was due weeks after I turned 35... ??.

Best GYN you can ask for . She is caring and friendly. She also takes her time with you and listens to all your needs .The staff is great as well .

Went to see Dr. Gavin when I was pregnant from another obgyn that I had a lot of issues with, she was amazing! She put me at ease and informed me of so much that the other obgyn did not. Even now since I have had my daughter I am still going to her. I have recommended family to go to her because of how informed she is and how comfortable she made me feel.

Dr. Gavin is an amazing doctor. She truly cares about her patients and listens to everything you have to say. There's never an issue getting an appointment and she is very thorough. I highly recommend her!!

Dr. Gavin is an outstanding provider! I am pregnant with my first child and left my previous OB-GYN at 25 weeks due to lack of communication. Dr. Gavin and her staff do very well in explaining everything I have questions about (even dealing with my crazy first mom to be questions.) The office was very accommodating to getting me in with Dr. Gavin. Her office is definitely the right for me and I would recommend all my friends and family to her! Thank You Dr. Gavin and staff!

Dr Gavin is such a fantastic doctor! My experience with her has been absolutely lovely. I transferred to her during the last trimester of my pregnancy and I'm so glad that I did. She is very caring, professional and extremely good at what she does. She put my mind at ease during the delivery. She made sure to honor my wishes as to how I wanted my delivery to go. I'm very happy with this doctor!

Dr. Gavin was so kind and informing. I didn't feel rushed and I was able to leave having all of my questions answered and concerns at ease. I highly recommend her.

Great experience , Dr Gavin always get me in for an appt as quickly as possible . Very attentive , and nice . I came from a doctor that was horrible for years . Dr Gavin is like a blessing to me . She is very direct but you never walk away from an appt confused. Thank you for being a great doctor .

I have been seeing Dr. Gavin for about 5 years now. She's one of the best gynecologists I've ever seen. Her staff is kind and I've never had any problems with scheduling an appointment. I would definitely recommend her to my family and friends.

She is not at all happy about new patients, she seems to have a circle. If you're not her age or a friend of hers she has no problem talking to you as if you're an idiot. I came to her after having insurance issues with my previous OB being 14 weeks pregnant. I have a history of blood clots and was unsure what I could take for this. I called her wondering I could take, yes it is not my 1st pregnancy but I've never had pain like this. She asked if I was having a heart attack and told me to Google

I started seeing Dr. Gavin after conceiving my first child. As a first time mother I was eager for information and answers to questions. Dr. Gavin was demeaning and condescending with little more information than you can get from your average google search. When I had an emergency concern Dr. Gavin was more than displeased to have to return my phone call on a Saturday morning and had no issue with telling me so. I am now 5 months into my first pregnancy and left searching for a new OB.

Dr. Gavin is so wonderful I've been seeing her for two years and I have never been more happy with any doctor in my life! She's friendly, honest, helpful, caring, patient, and I feel very comfortable talking to her. And the office is very calming and beautiful!

Dr. Gavin is an absolute angel. She is by far the nicest doctor I have ever had and actually takes time to listen to you. She wants to know about any small problem and work out a solution for it with you. I would never think of switching to another doctor.
