PLEASE CALL ME. My card expired and ive been trying to call the office for weeks. They number will NOT work. If i go somewhere else it will cost me hundreds and weeks longer and becase of this my illness has worsened....if you have shut down you must tell your patients and update SOMETHING this is extremely problematic and infuriating

Not the best bedside manor but hey she's cheaper than the other places and renews me every year. Update: she is no longer the cheapest, let's see how legalization changes this

Extremely rude and unprofessional. Simply demanded money when she called hours late for appointment. Plenty of other good practitioners, avoid this one.

It would be great if the phone didn’t ring forever and they would actually answer

Medical release form does not work on the website and no one ever answers the phone over at the office.

She is not considerate of low income people and when asked she becomes rude forgets her ethics and says find another Dr. So for low income in would recommend find a better Dr that cares about everyone not just money but your health

I lost connection with my Dr. in Fairfield as she has changed practices. I called Dr Major and she was AWESOME. Same day renewal. Thank you so much for the speedy process :)

I really don't understand the negative reviews. I just had a Telehealth appointment with Dr. Major this afternoon and she couldn't have been nicer! Very pleasant and friendly throughout. I was applying for my MMC and Dr. Major guided me through the process with ease. Intelligent, well-informed, and compassionate. And her staff was equally as nice. Dr. Major asked me if I had any questions at the end of the appointment and she was so thorough that I had none! I look forward to treating with her in the future.

Dr. Major is kind and concerned with my husband's condition. She is very knowledgeable in her field. She is approachable and eager to answer any questions and address any concerns- Highly recommend!

She's apparently only in it for the money.

If I could give less stars I would. All she cares about is you making an appointment so she can charge her fees. Wouldn't refill my cholesterol medication even though I was there 6 months ago for my yearly checkout, told me I had to make an appt. Marijuana is now main focus. Will not be back.

Dr Major and her staff are prompt, efficient, knowledgeable and helpful. She is a skilled practitioner.

The staff was pleasant and the doctor took her time in explaining everything and made sure I understood the whole process. She was very warm and understanding.

I was a bit apprehensive about getting my MMC, I was on so many different medications and narcotics.I am proud to say because of Dr Majors guidance, I am 2 years into the MM program. I am OFF ALL narcotics and take minimal medications. I would recommend speaking with Dr Major if you are looking for a healthier lifestyle ( yes even while ill) . This woman is HORRIBLE. She doesn't listen and she talks "AT" you not "WITH" you. She also did something to me that was MUCH WORSE. She's even been put on probation by the state. Read about it below. I wound not recommend her to anyone.

Will suggest her to anyone that is in pain. Dr. Major is amazing and does not leave out any information. I have 2 rods along my spine, and spinal fusion. So I finally went and visited her today and its like a weight off my shoulders, if you are seeking help don't hesitate. She is very understanding and made it a lot less stressful of an experience.

Hard to tell how good of an M.D. she is with only a few visits, she works quickly, explains things to patients but can come off as rude or abrasive to some. I have seen both sides of the office staff, when they are very nice and when they are having a bad day, only gripe is that I've had to follow up multiple times for a document that was supposed to arrive within 4 days but took 4 weeks. EDIT: Reply to your reply Dr. Major. Perhaps I had misconstrued my review. My visit and interactions with the office and staff were very pleasant and I was in no way trying to relay that I was upset or complaining about that. The negative angle in my review was in fact directed towards the documents with that state, I know you have no control over that. My frustration was with the state of CT departments and not your office or you at all. I apologize for the confusion, and its great to see that you actually take into acount and care about the reviews posted, this is the first time I have seen a physician do that and I commend you for that. For anyone reading these reviews that part alone should speak to her character and what a wonderful Doctor she is! I A+. Fully recommend Dr. Major. I went to Dr Major once and I do not plan to return. She said she was checking my blood pressure but she took the cuff off my arm before getting a reading; she had just finished inflating the cuff and did not let it deflate so she could determine the systolic and diastolic values. When I asked what my blood pressure was she ignored me. When she said she was checking my lungs she did not do a thorough job. She gave me a checklist and told me how to answer each question. Very disappointing visit

I aslo found her a but rough in the beging, but got straight to theponit. My Mom's was stage 5 bioduct cancer and she had 6 months to a year so got her and her care giver their cards .She explained ererything we need to know for her condion/ After talking t her for a bit she was very pleasant.She answered all the questions i had about using cannibis oil as treatement she was was great!. She evn told us the dosage to take that they call "cancer killing". Now my huband has masterred the entire procude and she is doing great! >Tumors have all shruck which are now just nodules. I wonder if anyone has gone to Dr. Major for any reason other than getting a medical marijuana card? Is that her entire practice, or does she treat patients for standard needs as well? Now, so you know, I am a medical marijuana patient with a significant disorder that has left me riddled with tumors. I believe wholeheartedly in the benefits of medical marijuana - is has eased my pain, helped me get much needed rest, and not a single tumor has increased in size at all since I got my card

I understand what people mean when they say that she is quick and to the point. I suppose you could call her abrupt, if you did not understand her mannerisms you might even call her rude, but I don't believe she is rude. I called, received an appointment for the very next day, went in and everything in my file was 100%, so the process was quick and smooth. I've already done the third step – which is filing online and sending in my picture/payment for my card, now I am impatiently waiting for my temporary card to get here. She's knowledgeable about what she does, she does not need to sugarcoat anything, or baby you. You both know why you were there so there's no need to play coy. I for one was particularly grateful for her mannerisms and her professional way. I was not there to make a friend I was there to get down to business and go home. In addition to having an amazing office staff, Dr. Major is one of the kindest, most knowledgeable doctors in her field. I live 1.5hrs away, but the reason I always come back to her for my recertification and always will is because of her extraordinary level of care and service. Thanks to Dr. Major's recommendations I no longer have to worry about seizures, and I've gone from only being able to handle liquid foods and weighing 115lbs as a 6ft1in male to being able to eat real food, and I saw dramatic improvements in my weight and equally dramatic decreases in the nausea and vomiting that had plagued me in the past, and my seizures have been under control. When I came in for my office visit today, within 10 minutes I was in the room with the doctor, she asked me about all of my issues, paid attention to each of them, told me about what would work absolutely best for me, and most of all she genuinely cared about me. Before I even left the building she had submitted the recommendation to the state and I received an email. If you want quality care from someone who knows what they're talking about, she's the doctor you want. She's a mess. Never remembers me. Told me to watch my cholesterol because she didn't want to put me on meds. But I already am on meds. She prescribes them! Repeats herself like she's talking to herself. I stayed with her for about 4 years but I have to change. The aforementioned cholesterol drugs that were 20mg, I just picked up from the pharmacy and now they're 40mg. She should not be practicing.
