Dr. Judit Epstein-Browell

I’ve worked with Dr. EB for several years now and she has genuinely helped me to see things about myself that I couldn’t or wouldn’t see. And she’s always delivered the hard truths I don’t want to hear with compassion and kindness. She’s also been very patient with me and my particular condition. Wonderful experience and hope to work with her again in the future.

EB has been great with everything we've thrown her way... marriage, childhood, family, work, and most recently, the coronavirus. She's laser sharp and will tie together insights from previous sessions and will (gently) call you out on unreasonable behavior. Also, +1 to the other reviewer about the sense of humor.

Dr. Epstein-Browell has been life-saving for myself, my marriage, and my family. She listens to what we are saying. More importantly, she also hears underlying psychological messages that we don't even realize we are communicating and/or feel. My husband and I have been patients for more than 10 years. We are so grateful for her as she helps us be our best selves.

Dr. Browell is a compassionate, intelligent and astute therapist. She's generous with her time, very calm, has a great sense of humor and offers a lot of insight regarding issues of living and coping. She is gentle, a great listener and sympathetic to the challenges and pains a patient shares with her. I can recommend Dr. Browell - without hesitation - to males or females and to singles, couples or those needing family therapy. She is kind, "with it" and never acts judgmental. I trust and respect her and have appreciated the time she's spent helping me cope with grief and other issues. More than this, I know she respects me and treats me with care, understanding and acceptance. Over the course of my life, there have been three times when I've sought the services of a therapist. Dr. Browell is the best therapist I've had the privilege of knowing, and she's helped me tremendously. If you need a therapist, you will be in good hands if you choose to see Dr. Browell. 3/16/2020

Been seeing Dr. E-B for about 4 yrs now. Over the years we’ve recommended her to a family member and 2 friends, and they all rave about her. My belief is everyone can benefit from a therapist, and E-B is as good as they get.

She is not a good counselor. On top of that, she doesn't answer calls and cancels appointments -- find someone else. She is not worth it.

She is JUDGEMENTAL! Focused on money, rather than helping me. Never see her in my life. Waste of time and money.

I have been to other therapists and Dr. Browell excels in the field. I have made excellent progress with her. I can't recommend her strongly enough. I must say, I read the other comment and am surprised someone would have no trust in her. I can only assume this patient only saw her once and was seeking a quick diagnoses to get a prescription and wasn't really looking for help. I have a family member who has ADD and it is a process - there is no quick test and meds are a last resort...

Dr Browell is a compassionate and caring professional. Is good at listening and getting to the heart of the matter discussed. Very good at appropriate suggestions and looking at a problem from different perspective. Can be late for sessions because she usually runs past a session with a previous patient, though not a problem with me.

She got me in fairly quickly, which was nice.The problem: She uses Too many Metaphors to try & get her point across & when I asked her for a straight forward answer, she once again tried to use another Metaphor. I asked her if there was some sort of testing/evaluation, whether it be verbally or written that she can give to test for ADHD/ADD, b/c my fam Dr wants me to be evaluated & she kept beating around the bush & insisted that there's no telling how long it could take to make such a diagnosis
