Referred my dad here for a second opinion for his BPH. The doctor simply said take this pill come back in 3 months. My dad was having a very hard time going to the bathroom and this was ruining his life. I tried calling the doctor to ask for more information but the nurse said I would have to make an appointment for my dad to see the doctor AGAIN just to clarify the treatment plan. I myself am a provider and out of courtesy I speak to my patients or their proxy to clarify information and answer questions. Its absurd he could not return my call to explain what his thought process was and why he did not order any diagnostic evaluation but instead opted to give him a pill and come back in 3 months. Extremely disappointed and waste of time.

I was very disappointed with Dr. Guzman At the first visit he did educate me about my issues. Then when I was having continuous problems, he refused to take my calls and I got answers thru his staff and he didnt start me on a long term solution.Due to his unwillingness to speak to me directly and disinterest in my problems, I left his practice. I would not recommend him

I met Dr. Juan Guzman (September 2016) while he was serving as a Fellow for Dr. Howard Goldman. I was quite impressed with Dr. Guzman's interpersonal skills when dealing with an extremely sensitive health issue. He's young and I'm a 66 year old female, yet I was very comfortable with him in this setting. He is knowledgeable, a good listener, and sensitive - characteristics that will enable him to keep growing personally and professionally. As a 30+ year BSN, RN, I would highly recommend Dr. G.
