Dr. Joy Paul Leblanc

She is amazing. I've been going to her over 20 years. I don't live in the area but I still travel for my doctors visits.

The absolute best. Dr. Joy Leblanc delivered my first baby, and then literally saved my life. The other ladies in the office are so kind, and friendly. I always felt comfortable, and at ease. Can’t recommend this office enough.

At 34 weeks, I switched to Dr Leblanc and it was the best decision I had made in my entire life. She is professional, knowledgeable and so friendly. As a first time mother, I had extreme anxiety but dr leblanc answered everything so I didn’t have to question and even drew a diagram to explain what I didn’t know. She truly is a *Joy* to be around. She walks in the room and lights it up. I could never imagine another Dr delivering my baby. I absolutely hated pregnancy but Dr Leblanc makes me want to have more. She made for such a smooth delivery and never showed signs of panic. She stays calm and gets the baby out safely. I can not thank her enough for such a positive experience. Also, her office staff really is super sweet. Rachel, her nurse is so bubbly and always has a smile on her face. The receptionist is always kind, asking how patients are and has a fantastic memory of who you are. She knows patients by faces for check-in. After 2 phone calls and 1 visit, Dr. LeBlanc has already done more for me and my concerns than the UTMB staff I have encountered. Everyone at the office was incredibly friendly and professional. I am impressed and will continue to use Dr. LeBlanc.

This office is very unprofessional. Dr. Leblanc is a nice lady however she did not have time for me as a patient. The office is very insensitive. When I was having contractions at 18 weeks i asked to come to the office for her to check on me and ended up seeing her assistant instead ( who I had never met and she wasn’t welcoming) I ended up having to go to the hospital 3 days later and my water broke. Ended up losing my baby. I only saw Dr. Leblanc AFTER I had already delivered my baby. My placenta was a lot smaller than it should’ve been but I feel that she should have caught eariler on. On another note, I recently just changed doctors offices and wanted my records. I asked if I could fax them over to the new doctor they said that’s fine. However I’ve gotten paper records before from them and I wanted another copy and was willing to pay for them. The first time they printed them i just walked in and she printed them right there. This time around The receptionist told me it will take a few days ( really she didn’t have time to print them out ) said she was busy and had other things she was doing. Dr. LeBlanc is the ultimate super hero! She is so kind and goes the extra mile. She has delivered both of my babies and I couldn’t imagine having any other Doctor during my pregnancies. I highly recommend her.

Dr LeBlanc is absolutely the best doctor around! The office staff is so friendly and caring throughout the entire process! I 100% trust Dr LeBlanc with taking care of me and my babies for any type of delivery! I wouldn’t want anyone else to see me through any pregnancy!

Dr. LeBlanc has delivered all three of my babies. She has also performed two D&Cs. With all five of my pregnancies, she has been absolutely amazing. In fact, I said recently that if my husband had not had a vasectomy, I'd have another baby just so she could deliver it. Dr. Leblanc is an excellent doctor. She delivered all 3 of my babies with great skill and care. She always listens to my concerns and answers all my questions with patience (even when I was young and completely clueless with my first). There have been times I’ve had to wait a little bit to be seen for an appointment (as is the case at any doctors office) but I have never minded because I know if she’s running behind it’s usually because she’s over at the hospital delivering a baby and I would absolutely want her to put her appointments on a brief hold for me if I was the one in labor. I once came in for a post partum visit with an arrhythmia and Dr. Leblanc acted quickly to get me the medical attention I needed - Thanks to her quick thinking/action I was able to get help in time to avoid a very uncomfortable and painful procedure. I am so thankful for her discernment and presence of mind! The whole office staff was very thoughtful and helpful that day as well. I trust Dr. Leblanc with my life and would highly recommend her (and have to many friends who would say the same). Dr. Leblanc is an excellent doctor. Dr. Leblanc was patient with my abundance of questions during my pregnancy. Being of “advanced maternal age”, I was closely monitored and received excellent care. Dr. Leblanc made time during my appointments to ensure both the baby and I were healthy, strong and thriving. She is a compassionate doctor that puts high priority on patient care and safety. I would never want to go through it with anyone else! I had 3 different doctors with all 3 of my pregnancies and Dr. Leblanc (and team) stand out as professional, safe and attentive to the needs of both my baby and myself. I have been a patient for many years, and I am truly grateful for this whole office! Dr Leblanc is so very kind, compassionate, and understanding. Amanda, the PA, is also very helpful and very easy to talk to. Anytime I have had any questions or issues the nurse Lisa is very responsive, and messages are answered very quickly. I think the front desk has always been very helpful and patient with me. This is by far my favorite office to have to visit. In fact, I wish all my doctor visits went this well and that they were this willing to make me comfortable and answer all my questions!! Dr. LeBlanc, is an amazing Dr who is just as compassionate as she is skilled. I've been so blessed to have been her patient with my last 2 babies and after. I only wish I had found her sooner. She listened to my concerns and desires regarding birth and worked hard to make every delivery safe for mom and baby. I knew I was in caring, capable hands and was grateful she avoided unnecessary procedures and tests. I am also thankful for her office staff as everyone is so kind and accommodating. Each one from the front receptionist, nurses, nurse practitioner, office manager and lab technicians, all are so friendly and helpful. They only add to the experience, making things even better. Very pleased with Dr. Leblanc service for my wife’s pregnancy. Initially I felt that my wife’s office visits where to fast. That the Dr. didn’t give us or tell us enough information during the visit. My wife assured me this was not the case. Just me being protective dad having unrealistic expectations. The Dr. and staff are not mind readers. Dr. Leblanc is very clear to the point. Any and all questions that we ever asked where answered completely and throughly. Delivering a baby can be super stressful for parents. Dr Leblanc has calm, steadily and confident voice, during the delivery. This greatly eased if not removed the feeling of being overwhelmed during the delivery. Highly recommend Dr. Leblanc. Will choose her again if we decide to have another baby. Can’t say enough good things about the overnight staff in the delivery area as well. Total rockstars.

The best ObGyn doctor I have ever seen

I have been to a couple OB’s. I thought my first was great, but she stopped delivering, so I had to seek another. I wish I would have found Dr Leblanc in the beginning!! No woman enjoys going to the “woman dr!” Words can not express how comfortable she makes you through the entire process, from pregnancy to delivery. I have never left a dr’s office from an appointment with the feelings I do leaving hers; you feel comfortable and like family! The whole staff makes you feel that way! Dr Leblanc saved my baby! She had her cord wrapped around her neck at delivery. I’m a first time mom and I could not have asked for a better dr. I wanted to go as natural as possible and she didn’t laugh at me like my previous dr did. I saw her at 7 months pregnant and was so happy I made that decision. Even after having the baby she was cheering me up through my struggles of breastfeeding and referred me to a pediatrician that specializes in breast medicine. We have done wonderfully ever since. I have been a patient of Dr. LeBlanc's since 2008. She has operated on me removing cyst and a D&C as well as deliver 3 children. I would not and could not imagine ANY ONE else being my OBGYN or delivering my babies. She is amazing and a patient advocate all the way.

Just called to see if they were accepting new patients. She answered yes so I asked what was the soonest I could be seen. I was told immediately they couldn’t see me until the end of June before asking any questions about the type of appointment. By far one of the rudest receptionist I’ve ever encountered. Dr. Le Blanc is one of the best doctors! I just had my C-Section not even 2 weeks ago and I feel like a horse. I didn't feel any pain during the surgery. While she was doing the surgery she told me that she would make my scare look better from the previous C-Section ????. She was right I barely see the incision????. Thank you Dr. LeBlanc for holding my hand and letting me use your shoulder as a support whîle getting the epidural, you didn't have to do that and it was one of the nurses job, but you were so sweet and did it for me while I was freaking out and wanting my husband in the room. Best OBGYN in the area hands down! She has amazing bed wide manner and makes pregnancy, and able and delivery so easy!

Dr. Leblanc has always been a compassionate, kind, and knowledgeable OBGYN. I am very thankful for her, and only wish I had started as her patient years ago when I started having kids. She is still very good at taking care of women post child bearing years as well. I highly recommend her if she is ever available for new patients.

Dr. Joy LeBlanc delivered 2 of my 3 children and she did amazing. She's one of the best doctors to walk into my life. She's caring and understanding and will work with you're needs and wants. She's truly an amazing person. My whole family loves her!!

I love Dr. Leblanc and the entire staff! I've been going here for the past 3 years (2 babies) and have never once had a bad experience. I only ever had a problem with the 3rd party ultrasound technician at their office and they went above and beyond to coach her and remedy the situation. You will not find another doctor that is more willing to spend time with each of her patients. She even branched out on her own so that she would not be a part of a group that required a patient quota. She values each of her patients and doesn't want them to feel like she has to rush on to the next unlike so many others AND best yet she is vbac-friendly. I love Dr. Leblanc and the entire staff! The receptionist that answers the phone is extremely rude.

I like Dr. Leblanc But I did want to say something about the two other reviews. The young lady with Medicaid, it really isn't the doctor's fault that they do not accept your insurance. It is the individual's responsibility to check that the office accepts their insurance when booking the appointment. That being said, to Laura... the person who thinks that people with Medicaid should get real jobs with real insurance... You are a horrible person. I hope that you never have the msfortune of being downsized, or fired. But since you're perfect in every way and your life is Champagne and Roses, I guess that nothing bad every befalls you, does it? Did it ever occur to you that people deserve the right to have medical care? Or do you think that if someone loses their job, they should just abort their baby? It is interesting to me that hard-nosed narrow-minded idiots such as LAURA, never appreciate the fragility of their own situations... and the same people who are anti-abortion, would also deny medical care to a young pregnant woman trying to keep her baby? How much sense does that make? My company crashed due to their own bad decisions, and they let go of everyone, so in spite of my many years of dedicated service and hard work, I suddenly found myself without a job and while I was 6 months pregnant. I was LUCKY that my husband had good insurance to cover me, otherwise I might have had to get on medicaid myself or if I was Laura, I guess she would have thrown herself down the stairs, rather than take a handout? I for one, am appreciative that the majority of Americans are not like you Laura. The majority of us, would rather help those who are less fortunate, rather than just let them die in the street gutters. I saw DR. Lablanc with my second son and I without a doubt wanted her for my third pregnancy I absolutely loved her and her staff!!! she did my repeat c-section which I was scared to death to do...but, She ansewred all my questions and made me feel completely comfortable with it!

Well for starters Dr Leblanc looked like the best Dr to deliver at clear lake regional. Well I guess dont judge a book by its cover. HER OFFICE IS HORRIBLE. OKAY IM ALMOST 3 MONTHS PREGNANT AND WANTED HER TO BE MY DR SO BAD. IVE HEARD NOTHING BUT GOOD THINGS ABOUT HER BUT I DID HEAR SHE WAS GETTING TOO MANY PATIENTS. I ENDED UP GETTING AN APPOINTMENT WITH HER AFTER TRYING AND TRYING CAUSE THEY KEPT TELLING ME SHE WASNT ACCEPTING NEW PATIENTS. WELL THEY FINALLY TOLD ME THEY GOT ME IN WITH HER AND THAT WAS ABOUT 3 WEEKS AGO. I JUST GOT A CALL FROM HER DR OFFICE TELLING ME MY APPOINTMENT WAS CANCELLED BECAUSE THEY DIDNT ACCEPT MEDICAID. IM SORRY BUT ARE YOU KIDDING ME? YOU COULD OF TOLD ME YOU DIDNT ACCEPT MEDICAID THAT MOMENT INSTEAD OF GIVING ME A TIME AND DATE AND GETTING MY HOPES UP.
