Stay as far away from Krassen he was not forthcoming with fentanly withdrawal and long time issues for the rest of my life. I now have to take Buprenophine-nalox everyday or I'll go into withdrawal which I nearly died from going unconscious while driving

Saw him today for bulging discs in my back, didn’t even hardly acknowledge I was there, wasn’t speaking to me clearly, was impatient with my mom, wasn’t listening to my mom’s questions, was too busy joking with his med student to ask questions about my condition, didn’t take any time with us and he was very rushed. I am extremely dissapointed in this doctor. I reccommend seeing a different person if you can. I just love dr krassen always so kind and understanding takes his time with me and addresses all my concerns i give him 10 stars if i could i have been a patient of his for about 3 years and will continue. Your the best Dr. Krassen ❤

I have been a patient of Dr Krassens for 11 years. I was in a bad accident and had a crushed back from T11 through L2. It happened in 2006. I started seeing Dr Krassen in 2009. I went 3 years without a diagnosis on my condition. He diagnosed me. I am an incomplete paraplegic. Since that day he has treated me with respect and listens to what’s going on with me and does everything possible to treat me effectively. I highly recommend him. Waist of time

1 hour waiting in the exam room. Total lack of compassion. Made me feel like I was intruding into his day. "See a psychiatrist " His exact words. Avoid at all costs.

Some of the Staff are superb, but Dr Krassen himself has been giving my fiancé the run around for way too long. he has a bulging disk and a severed disk and suffers from autism. Zero compassion from this doctor! I am Furious. btw dont expect him to help with an injury case. completely self absorbed!!!

Saw him for my back. Didn't give me any time or listen for questions. I don't know if it's because I'm on Medical Assistance right now but it's very cursory and not detailed. My first visit I tried to tell him about some x rays I brought (the support staff couldn't figure out how to display them). He asked what was found, I didn't know were to start because they showed all sorts of scoliosis and the beginnings of degeneration and arthritis (in some cases it was already there) it's been a long painful history (physically and emotionally). He dismissed it after I couldn't get out my first word (it was a lot to share) 15 seconds and just said "I can't imagine they found much at your age" and kept going. They found a lot at my age. He was not attentive at all, neither did he look at my body as a system. A better doctor would have asked questions when I froze and not just breezed past it. He never spent more than 10 minutes with me, and the follow ups were likely only 5 minutes each time. My last visit he was checking my back, it popped loudly and painfully and he just ignored it and kept going. Didn't ask if it hurt, didn't leave an opening or invite for questions. The Physical Therapists were the real help. He basically just got me there. Still have some neck issues and such. Probably knowledgeable but his clinical care was not good. Saw him for my back. I waited 50 minutes in the examination room. Finally, he walks in with a student nurse. Just what I need when I have to open up. I think he spent an entire 5 minutes with me, wouldn't let me ask questions, as if he has other more important things to do. Bedside manner? Non-existant. If this is what the medical profession is becoming, we are all in trouble. I felt used, exploited and completely dismissed.

This doctor is not good with communication and or treatment for on going pain. Didn't even think to refer a patient to a pain management clinic. If it can't be taken care of with a quick injection. Seen him for carpel tunnel of both hands. Very satisfied with result. Grandson saw him for left shoulder injury also, he had very positive outcome also.

after seeing this 'doctor' his inaccurate assessment of my injuries and him dismissing my need for required surgery was completely disregarded by an actual orthopedic surgeon.

Not impressed in the least, he is not thorough & I felt I needed to lead the appointment in the direction needed. He showed little interest & I felt like I was being shuffled thru so he could be done for the day. Not very warm & caring ... very disappointed ?? Not the kind of Doctor I want to continue long term . He's ok nice , but seems unfeeling / blah to helping you out .

I would not recommend to any family or friends. I would give No Star if I could. Staff seemed overworked and confused,..I could hear them complaining about there job in the back ground. Dr Krassen walked in as if he just woke up or had one bad night (perhaps he did). There was no physical exam at all, nor did he listen, no compassion what so ever. His mood was disturbing and he was abrupt when I asked questions. All in all a big waste of time and Insurance money!

After suffering with my back issues, he explained everything in detail and helped me choose the right choice. I had surgery a week ago and this issue has been fixed! Thank you so much for your help! Lois....

Very happy with the services provided by Dr Krassen & staff at VSAS as now I am able to go forward after finally concluding what the source of my neck problems truly was after 14 long months after an auto accident.. Never would have gotten there without Dr Krassen. Thank you!

He listens to your concerns and addresses them. He answers all your questions and takes his time with you.

He's given me excellent care for back problems. Most recently I needed an appointment unexpectedly &'was gotten in that afternoon. He's given me cortisone injections both in office & in hospital same day treatment
