I went to see Dr Yu for my hip. He came highly recommended by another doctor who also sees Dr Yu. He is extremely professional and caring. Dr Yu explained why I am having pain and what can be done. The wait time was not long at all. The office was very nice and clean. The staff are extremely courteous and I am going to have both hips replaced . Dr Yu is a great, caring orthopedic surgeon. He will explain everything and answer all your questions. He is very busy so he also has very qualified help to move things along.

Terrible doctor, terrible stuff. I went to see him for possible left hip replacement. He looks at my hip looks at my x-rays and says I don’t know what you want from me. He is a very caring doctor and checks on you daily when you have surgery

I should have filled this out earlier. Dr. Yu is fantastic. I blew out my knee playing softball 2 years ago. My leg went completely sideways and snapped at a what felt like a 90 degree angle. Dr. Yu fixed my ACL and repaired both sides of my meniscus. He was very careful with my recovery and follow up. I was playing ball again at about 8 months and have had no issues no pain no trouble at all since. I can run, jump, slide on it with no trouble. I don't wear a brace and there is very minimal scarring... I am back here though as my daughter just hurt her knee in cheer practice and there isn't anyone else I would allow to fix it. First let me start this by saying I'm not a fan of doctors at all. Never really have been. Earlier this year I injured myself skiing and dreaded all of the potential doctor visits I was going to have. I went to a doctor and for a month it was issue after issue. Finally a friend recommended Dr. Yu. I again dreaded having to start the process all over again but went to see him and man am I glad I did. Everything about the visit was perfect. The office staff was great, Dr Yu was great. He took time to explain things and help me understand what was going on. A couple weeks later I had my surgery and because of covid shutdowns I couldn't have a follow up right away, so Dr Yu texted me and followed up and made sure everything was ok. PLEASE READ. Practice is not female friendly. Dr. Yu will not take your symptoms seriously. Do not come here it will be a waste of time.

Dr. Yu repaired two severely torn rotator cuff tendons, and a bisected bicep tendon. My understanding from others, including Dr. Yu, was that my surgery was a very complex repair. I was provided images taken from the arthroscopic camera during my surgery by e-mail post surgery, and the repair was clean, a beautiful repair. The staff at Dr. Yu's office are friendly and professional. I would go in with any questions prepared and ready to ask as soon as Dr. Yu finished our appointments, and he always took the time to answer them completely.

Why is google keep erasing my review ? The people needs to know that his place is really bad.

Be careful and ready to have a second opinion, just don't trust blindly. Don't become the money manufacturing machine for the doctor.

Best Orthopedic surgeon in Vegas

I had excellent care from Dr. Yu for the replacement of my knee and hip. They were one year apart. I never had to wait over my appt time to see him. Office staff is very professional. Following surgery he was only a phone call away if a situation arose. I really liked his ability to get discharged from the hospital quickly. I have referred him to several friends who have all been pleased with him and the clinic. I would return to him if I have any other issues.

Do not go there, they don't care about their patients. I had an order from Joseph Yu, MD which was mistaken and needed to be updated and they wouldnt send the right order to the MRI office IN FOUR FULL DAYS!

Best Ortho Dr in town!! Was referred by a friend and as promised he's amazing. Dr.Yu is so kind and caring willing to help any way he can.

Ended up in ER at 6 am for a very swollen & extremely painful knee. I was unable to walk. ER diagnosed a Baker cyst with effusion. Funny thing is they would not drain it. Gave me a referral for a dr in Henderson. Came home & googled local sport med orthos. This office squeezed me in within the hour. The receptionist saw me thru the window as I slowly & painfully made my way to the door. As soon as I walked in she greeted me by name & told me to take a seat as she would bring the paperwork to me. Within 10 minutes I was taken in. The med assistant was very personable & professional. After a couple of xrays I was set up in a room. Dr Yu entered a minute later. Introduced himself which docs rarely do in this town. Examined the knee, asked some questions & drained the fluid. I am able to walk again. Hooray! Even better, Carlos called me a few hours later to let me know the lab results were negative for infection. See that? It is possible to be a great doc, have a great staff & treat patients well. This staff and Joseph Yu know how to treat a patient with a professional and a courteous standard which is like no other I have ever experienced before. I highly recommend Joseph if you have knee problems and are looking for an avenue to turn to. He is one of the best Dr. Experiences I ever had . My Son broke his wrist during football practice. I was able to get in right away. Dr Yu was amazing with him. My son had to have surgery. After the surgery Dr Yu personally called to check and see how he was during. Great Doctor!

Dr Yu performed a total knee replacement on my right knee two weeks ago. I am already walking on my own and nearly pain free. Staples are gone and I will be starting physical therapy at his office next week. Dr Yu immediately put me at ease on my first appointment. He's absolutely the best!!!!

Great service before and after surgery

Broke my leg and was lucky to have doctor Yu do the surgery. I am 230 pounds and i was able to walk 7 weeks after the surgery of a fully broken tibia and fibula. Great doctor and great staff! Thank you!

Had an appointment which was made in September 2016 for December 2016. Got an email confirmation confirming the appointment. On the day of the appointment I went to the doctor's office and was told that the doctor was not in the office, hadn't been in the office for over a week at that point. When the email confirmation was shown I was told that it was "too bad, so sad". The receptionist/office bully, Heather, was so rude and nasty. No apology was ever given. All I got was an attitude. Dr. Yu is a formidable surgeon. Because of a background in competitive figure skating, I suffered with intense hip pain. Dr. Yu has replaced both my hips this past year. Today, I am pain free in the joint and am walking with a regular cane less than two weeks out from the second hip operation. I can't thank Dr. Yu enough for his excellent care. Do not hesitate to choose this outstanding surgeon!

My daughter had a soccer sports injury on the weekend & Dr. Yu's office was able to see her first thing Monday.The initial wait time was a bit long, but since they were fitting me into an already tight schedule, I did not mind waiting. Staff is extremely friendly & courteous. Dr. Yu is extremely patient and spent a good 30 minutes with us making sure he answered all of our questions. This office is the way a doctors office should run.Did not feel rushed.Given VIP treatments all they way.10+stars

I already had 1 knee replaced, so I knew what to expect. My Dr in NY was awesome. I didn't have to ask a thing spent quality time w/me & went into great detail what to expect, before I even saw him he made sure to have his assist. do more detailed x-rays. So when I started to have the same symptoms, I knew what to expect. What I didn't expect is to spend more time filling out paperwork than the Dr took with me, 10 min cortisone shot & for that it cost almost $2600! Now have to wait for surgery
