I did a lot of research before making my decision to have breast reduction surgery and I was very fortunate to find Dr. Woods at Piedmont Atlanta. My husband and I had a very detailed and pleasant consultation with Dr. Woods prior to scheduling the surgery. Dr Woods and his amazing staff answered all of our questions and concerns and we never felt rushed at all. I am extremely happy with my results from the surgery and all of our follow up appointments were professional and pleasant. I highly recommend Dr. Woods if you’re considering plastic surgery. He’s a great man and a fantastic Doctor.

I am very pleased about my surgery and a repair of a hemorrhage in my breast after a mastectomy. Always quick to respond on phone calls. There when needed to answer questions and assist in any way.

I am satisfied with the entire process before, during and after the surgery. I had major surgery with different procedures at the same time in different parts of my body, and Dr. Woods did a great job. His staff were also friendly and helpful at all times. Dr. Woods performed a breast reduction on me. I was very comfortable with him. He listened to me and what I needed as an outcome of the surgery and I never felt rushed during our consultation or subsequent visits. Surgery day went well and I am very pleased with my results as he is very capable and skilled in his practice. With this surgery it has been life changing for the better.

From the very first phone call, (he actually answered the phone!) to my last visit with him, I can confidently say that Dr. Woods is THE best doctor I have ever met. He did a fantastic job on my tummy tuck that I have been dreaming about for 8 years. There are really no words to describe how happy I am with the whole experience with Dr. Woods.

First let me begin my explaining that I'm a 43yr old healthy woman/mother/wife that's never undergone surgery except removal of my wisdom teeth in my mid 20's. To say I searched for the best surgeon to perform my breast reduction/lift is an understatement. Dr. Woods was the only plastic surgeon i found participating in my insurance network that had a rating, a 5 star rating at that. I then checked to verify he was board certified, then I called his office (he's the only surgeon at his practice, he performs his procedures not assistants, he KNOWS you) and Shannon let me bombard her with all my questions and answered every one of them completely and didn't rush me off the phone. I felt good and I appreciated his office staffs knowledge and patience...I came into my initial consult, and was impressed not only by Dr. Woods knowledge and his experience with over 2000+ breast surgeries with no significant issues, but his results, the photos he showed me of his before and after was the work of a perfectionist and that solidified my decision. Dr. Woods is the best Atlanta has to offer, he brings over 25 years of working knowledge and experience to the table but young enough to stay up on trends and research. I harassed him for the first few days post-op (my breast reduction/lift was performed on August 7th 2020) mainly on his personal phone sending texts and pictures. He responded to each message throughout the weekend and after hours and was genuinely concerned. I am extremely happy with my results, ecstatic and I cannot believe the transformation! I'm healing "perfectly" per Dr. Woods, but I followed all his tips leading up to surgery; the high protein diet, supplements to promote blood flow & wound healing, etc. I would not entrust my body to any other plastic or reconstructive surgeon in Atlanta but Dr. Woods, his work is excellent and is representative of all the awards and accolades! A phenomenal experience with Dr. Woods, as well as his entire office staff (especially Shannon). I had an implant rupture during a routine mammogram @ Northside and conducted extensive research before selecting Dr. Woods (steer clear of assembly line practices in my POV, like the Swan Center BTW, who gave me an inferior implant). Dr. Woods is the Head of Plastic Surgery @ Piedmont Hospital and is a well educated individual who works with you to determine the best course of treatment. He didn't try to upsell me on other procedures, and even steered me away from a breast lift that I thought I might need. He helped me evaluate all options for removal and replacement of my inferior implants. He guided me through implant type and size choices and with his help, I was able to select the best replacement options for my age and body size. Surgery was a breeze, recovery was great and my follow-up appointment perfect. No surprises or discomfort. Many choices in ATL but Woods was GREAT!

Dr. Woods is amazing. I have used him twice over the last 15 years. I also had family members that worked with him for breast reconstruction he is amazing and a perfectionist. He is very candid about the risks associated with your type of surgery which is greatly appreciated. He is also very responsive to every question I’ve had. I appreciate him as well as his staff. Dr. Woods is one of the most compassionate physicians I've ever met. I was apprehensive about having elective breast reduction surgery. During my consultation with Dr. Woods he took the time to ease my concerns explaining the pros and cons to breast reduction, what to expect after surgery not only physically but mentally. I have never been happier. I noticed an immediate difference from the moment I was able to get out of bed. No more neck and upper back pain discomfort. I also feel more confident in my appearance . For the past 6 or so years I have really struggled with my self confidence & a long list of issues including back problems, bad posture, neck pain, etc. due to my overly large and saggy breasts. I had heard Dr. Woods' name floating around for a while about being the best surgeon for breast reduction in the metro Atlanta area. I was not dissapointed in the results of my surgery. It has literally changed my quality of life for the better! Everyone in the office played a part in this surgery being successfully scheduled. Everyone was friendly, patient, & of course helpful with all the paperwork.

I knew I wanted a surgeon who was meticulous and didn’t rush to beat the clock and I found him. He repaired my umbilical hernia as well as my diastasis recti. I am thrilled with the results. I am very thankful for Dr. Woods. After researching many different surgeons in Atlanta I'm glad to have chosen him to do my Abdominoplasty and breast augmentation. At the first meeting, I knew he would be my only consultation. He's very conservative, knowledgeable, honest and will listen to your questions and concerns. He also has phenomenal bedside manners! My consultation with Dr Woods was by far the WORST doctor's appointment I have ever had in my long history of doctor's appointments. I left his office in tears after he spent the entire time bashing my general surgeon who was to perform my mastectomy. I could not believe the lack of professionalism and disregard for empathy displayed by Doctor Woods. I was already feeling vulnerable and scared for my upcoming surgery, and he only made matters far worse. He should be ashamed of himself.

It has been 25 years since Dr. Woods performed my plastic surgery after a double mastectomy. I still think about how kind and encouraging he was during this extremely stressful time and what an incredibly successful TRAM flap reconstruction he performed. I have had no issues in all this time and I want to thank Dr. Woods for what he has done to make my life better by making my body whole again.

Dr. Woods did a lower face lift back in March of this year. The results are far better than I ever imagined. I no longer cringe when I look in the mirror, yet the results are very natural. As a retired esthetician, I have seen many people who had face lifts, both good and bad. Dr. Woods is the best! He also has a great bedside manner, is kind and compassionate. Shannon, Emily and everyone Dr. Wood's office are wonderful! He has also done botox and juvederm for me with great results.

Dr. Woods was recommended to me by a relative plus I did my own research. Within the last several years I have had 2 surgical procedures performed by him. Excellent results with both. He answers questions about your procedure with his years of experience and knowledge very patiently so you understand the details of your procedure, recovery time and expected outcomes. I would not hesitate to refer family or friends. His staff are very professional, friendly and are there to answer your questions

Dr. Woods has helped me through a multi-stage breast reconstruction process after a double mastectomy for breast cancer. I had some complications due to previous radiation, & Dr. Woods has taken great pains in thinking about how to proceed and explaining it all to me, giving me input and options along the way. He is extremely thorough, patient, & empathetic. I have no doubt I will have beautiful breasts when we are done. I highly recommend Dr. Woods, especially if you've had a mastectomy.

FROM START TO FINISH, for my Breast Reduction, I loved Dr. Woods and all his Staff! They were professional, knowledgeable, kind, & compassionate! They put me completely at ease, as I had never had plastic surgery before and was apprehensive. Dr. Woods did a fantastic job, not only in taking great care of me to make sure I had a successful outcome, but did a BEAUTIFUL job, as well. Would not hesitate to use him again and actually he is the only Plastic Surgeon I WOULD use! Highly recommend!

Dr. Woods came highly recommended to me when I needed a plastic surgeon. On my first consultation with him, he was late because his morning surgery ran late. As soon as he came into the exam room, he apologized for keeping me waiting--earning my respect immediately. He has lived up to the praise I heard from others. His work is excellent and his treatment of his patients is thorough, considerate and respectful. Dr. Woods' treatment of his patients is shared by his staff.

Dr. Woods is the BEST! His staff is extremely nice and courteous. While Dr. Woods always acts like he has all the time in the world for me, I have never had to wait longer than ten minutes(if that) in the waiting/exam room. He is very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions concerning my surgery. Highly intelligent but ,also, caring and patient with a bedside manner that instills trust.I would wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Woods to anyone! Also, his assistant Emily is tops,too!!

Consulted four highly recommended plastic surgeons in Atlanta, and am very thankful to have selected Dr. Woods for breast reduction/lift, abdominoplasty & liposuction. He combines great skill with great compassion; truly a wonderful combination. Also, he does surgery at two different facilities in the ATL area. This matters when you are paying out-of-pocket since the facility costs are dramatically different. Very grateful for that, too. He explains the procedures thoroughly & doesn't rush.

I am 6 months post-op from an abdominoplasty performed by Dr Woods. I could not be happier with the total experience from the initial visit, to the surgery, to my last follow-up appointment. He explained the procedure beforehand and answered all of my questions. The surgery itself went very smoothly. I was actually amazed at how smoothly it went.
