Dr. Slappey is a great listener. He was thorough in explaining his diagnosis & treatment options.

This was my first time seeing Dr. Slappy. Loved him immediately. He explained the x-rays and examined my arm. Dr. Slappy explained the treatment he recommended. When he administered the injections, it was so smooth. I didn’t feel a thing.

Showed compassion and sympathy with our child’s knee injury. Dr. Slappey gave us a clear and concise diagnosis and a path to recovery.

Dr. Slappy and staff took such good care of me and continue to do so. The doctor was kind and patient. I could feel he really cared what I had say and what I am going through. He confirmed I have a pinched nerve and immediately set a plan into action to take care of me and my pain. I am so happy I called OrthoGa!

Great experience. He was a great listener who spoke to my concerns rather than overlooked them. He showed real interest, compassion and concern about what I had to say. His honesty was refreshing. My entire visit was based on what I had to say, results of his exam and then his medical expertise. This is how all MD's should care for their patients.

I would not use any other doctor than Dr. Slappey and his staff. They are kind, considerate, and very compassionate.

Every time I see Dr. Slappey or Karen, his NP, I leave so glad I went. They are kind, thorough and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend this office for anyone suffering with joint pain.

I did not see the doctor on this follow-up visit. The nurse practitioner was rude.

He took time to here what I wanted to say about my knee.

Dr. Slappy was outstanding and explained my medical issues in a way that made them easy to understand. He went out of his way to go check the ingredients of a medication that we discussed. He listened to me and was willing to discuss options for treatment. My visit from start to finish was 5 star. The lady that checked me in on the 3rd floor has excellent customer service. First Class! The entire staff accommodated me by fitting me in. I was scheduled to be scene by Doctor Lee but my appointment was canceled. I am glad all my needs we’re met by the wonderful nurse practitioner that took time to see me. She is a patient and kind doctor who throughly explained everything to me. Allowed me in the decision making process. At the DME Hannah is exceptionally qualified in fitting my brace. Hannah is patient and kind so helpful explaining each step. Dr Slappey listens and answers my questions completely. I feel that we are on the same team regarding my treatment plan. In addition, Dr Slappey is always patient and reassuring to my elderly mother. 3 generations of my family are indebted to Ortho-Georgia for the highest quality care.

Staff was great

I had an excessively long wait- 55 minutes- for my appointment today. Did not see Dr. Slappey, but I got his Nurse Practioner, which I feel gives better attention than the Dr. did the one time I saw him. So props to Ms. Karen.

Dr Slappey is an excellent Orthopedist, exemplifies compassion for the patient and knows his medicine.

I had a very good experience besides having to wait a good bit to see the doctor. But he did apologize and was very attentive to my problem knee. He was very nice and helpful as well.

Dr. Slappey is a great surgeon! I was pleased that he released me today and left it open for me to call him with any problems... He's a nice man also!

I had two total hip replacements with Dr. Slappy. The experience was the best although it was surgery the Dr. and staff here are very knowledgeable and everything is taken care of concerning your total visit. Paperwork, insurance questions, any qestions you have they will answer it or make sure you get an answer. I did everything they ask and believe me it was for the best because the outcome is great. I am not having pain issues now, dont have to take pain meds. So yes, do as they instruct you do, the outcome will truly be a blessing. Everyone was very polite, friendly, and helpful. I waited just a few minutes until I was seen. Karen was thorough and to the point. I appreciated her bedside manner.

Dr. Slappy was friendly, he talked to me, not at me, and he listened to me. He did not seem to be in a hurry. Surgens usually are not this friendly. When and if my knee has to be replaced, he will definately be the Dr. I want to do so.

They were thorough with the examination and answered all of my questions.

Visit for a prescription. A little longer wait than expected, but the visit was quick. Everyone was polite and courteous at the office. Dr. Slappey was very kind and polite also.

My visit was with Karen , NP for Dr. Slappey! She is Awesome! Always friendly, informative and listens to you. Bedside manner is superlative! Treats you as individual and always professional.. 5 Star for sure!
