I have been with Dr. Skandalaris for several years. He has helped get me through some difficult times. He is attentive and is really interested in me as a person. I would not consider seeing any other doctor as my PCP.

Dr. Joe is one of the most personable people I have ever meant. He listens to your concerns and gives the best option for you. Love having him as my doctor!

Dr. Skandalaris has been my doctor for about 10 years now. I started seeing him while he was still in general practice and I love that he has switched to direct primary care. I have A LOT of issues with autoimmune diseases; I was going to multiple specialists who really weren't helping me and I was just wasting tons of money and getting no where. Dr. Skandalaris now handles 90% of all of my issues WAY better than any specialist ever did. He actually listens to everything you say, and I am in no way exaggerating when I say everything! Most doctors you see for maybe 5 mins at a time at each appointment, but with Dr. Skandalaris, he doesn't leave until we have come to a conclusion on treatment or changes and such, which sometimes can take up to an hour or even more! I never feel rushed, I never feel like another number, I always feel great when I leave there because he explains everything in detail in words that I can understand, he is always trying everything he can possibly do to help me, and he tells me the truth about medications that most doctors would never tell you. I could go on, but I'll leave it at this, I will NEVER go to any other doctor as long as I can go to Dr. Skandalaris. Also, his assistant Lynette is the absolute best! She's always so on top of everything and will answer questions for me when needed at anytime! Im so thankful for these two professionals; their care is life changing! Dr. Joe has always looked out for my best interest and health. He has constantly diagnosed my issues with success. Many times all I would need is to call him and discuss my symptoms and he would have a remedy over the phone or internet with out the need for an office visit. Office visits are always very educating and informative. I highly recommend Dr. Joe.

I have been going to Dr. S for nearly 20 years. He's an amazing Internal Med doc! On the forefront of new health technologies, Dr. S offers innovative treatments. I am a late onset type 1 diabetic and he has always worked with me to maintain good health. Equally as important is how much they truly care about their patients. Lynette is top notch too. You can't beat this practice!!! We have moved to SC and I imagine it's going to be very hard to find a replacement.

Weve been seeing Dr. Joe for about 9 years and we cannot say enough good things about him. He is my husband's doctor. My husband is in extreme pain 24/7 . We have been through both university of michigan pain clinic and st joes pain clinic with no real diagnosis or relief. The best we can get is "chronic pain syndrome". My husband has run into some extremely rude and unkind doctors who shall go without name. Dr. Joe has been kind, caring, and willing to do pretty much anything to help my husband. Best of all, he is not dismissive like so many have been, but spends an amazing amount of time with us, makes us laugh and continues to try new things to help my husband`s pain. We love him. Love, love, love Dr. Joe and Lynette. In this crazy medical insurance world we are stuck with, they make the process so much more simple, understandable and effective. We need many more like Dr. Skandalaris in the medical industry because they ALWAYS do what is right for us, the patients.

Dr. Skandalaris is ONE OF A KIND!!! He has been my PCP for years and I follow him even though I have to pay cash since he does not take my insurance. I have had my insurance for 7 years and do not use it because it would mean I would have to see someone in Lansing area! Dr. Joe and Lynette are a "super team" they are efficient, kind and ALWAYS there for me. I admit as a health care worker I know too much and I am not patient but Dr. Joe and Lynette NEVER disappoint. 200% happily satisfied!

I've been seeing Doc. for 11 years. He literally helped save my life during my darkest hour 11 years ago. Now he continues to focus on my health and our relationship as patient/doctor. He has helped my family and myself a number of times and has always been a good friend to talk to.

Been seeing Dr. Joe for over 10 years, his passion for what he does and immense amount of knowledge is impressive. If you are looking for a Doctor who isn't going to jump to the script and will offer helpful natural options when available, as well as modern western medicine, he's the doc.

Dr. Skandalaris is by far the best doctor I've ever had. There's something about him that makes you feel extremely comfortable discussing all medical issues with. I recently went in for a physical and some other things, and he spent an hour and a half with me until I felt at ease and I understood completely what was going on. Not once did he seem like he had anything else to do or somewhere else to be.

It can be hard to get into see Dr. Skandalaris but once you are under his care he is excellent. I have been a patient of his for 18 years.
