Dr. Schwartz is best of the best in his field. He performed carpal tunnel release on both of my hands. I wish I hadn’t waited so long to take care of it!

The staff is super friendly and very efficient in their services.

Dr. Schwartz, Jennifer. MA & Ricky, MA have all been amazing from the beginning when I first came because of a torn rotator cuff to my surgery, my overnight stay at Community & the many phone calls I had with questions. Dr. Schwartz never made me feel as if he was in a hurry to get to the next patient. I would recommend Dr. Schwartz to anyone who is looking for a professional team who really cares about their patient.

This is my second visit, a year apart for treatment. I appreciate the professionalism, efficiency and kindness of the staff.

I seen Dr. Schwartz in June to have carpel tunnel surgery and trigger finger. I was extremly pleased! He explained everything step by step, good bedside manner and he does not rush you out . Takes time to answer all questions you have. Actually the entire office staff is amazing! Very friendly!

I have been going to Dr. Schwartz for several years no and he is very professional. And his staff is always so courteous and professional as well. His PA is also very thorough in explaining my conditions and relaying my concerns to the doctor. I have and will continue to recommend this office.

The wait was worth it.

I had a minor fingernail problem. Dr. Schwartz and NP Ricky, listened to my problem. They were thorough, and offered several solutions to my issue. In the end, I required minor surgery. I am very pleased with my treatment and care they took with me. I have already recommended them to others.

Dr. Swartz did my rotator cuff surgery.He is very through, explained the surgery and long recovery so I knew what to expect. Before I finally decided to have the surgery, I went to his office and his assistant Ricky Hansen gave me cortisone shots to help with the pain.. the surgery was done at the surgery center across from the Merrillville office. Everyone at the surgery center was kind, efficient. My surgery went smoothly .I am now finishing up physical therapy at their facility connected to their office. The whole staff is efficient, kind and very friendly. I always felt like they were focused on a successful outcome for me. I would highly recommend Dr. Swartz and his staff.

Dr. Schwartz listens very carefully. He does NOT rush you. Explains everything involving your condition. Has a very good assistant also. Overall rating is an "A". He will perform surgery on me. I would like to see any videos on the procedure if I could.

Dr. Schwartz was such a blessing. His demeanor, his willingness to educate and inform was so refreshing!! I felt empowered and secure in knowing he would take wonderful care of my son and his broken finger. He was encouraging yet firm while telling my son his “sports plan” The staff were all extremely friendly and offered smiles behind their masks. There is power in a smile that reaches your eyes and this office is full of POWER! Thanks for such a great experience at such a difficult time and space.

I would highly recommend Dr. Schwartz. My husband had treatment by him several years ago. When I began experiencing pain with my wrist, I immediately made an appointment with him. When I returned I spoke with his PA(Ricky). He was a wonderful young man who answered all my questions very patiently and thoroughly.

I felt comfortable with him. He generated an imitate feeling of confidence in his abilities from the first few minutes of the appointment. Dr. Schwartz was open to my concerns about my treatment.

His physician's assistant was also knowledgeable and professional. They make a wonderful team. I would highly recommend considering Dr.Schwartz for your surgical needs.

Dr. Schwartz and his team are excellent! I fractured my wrist in multiple places requiring surgery with pins and plates. From my initial consultation, till my last appointment, I was not only handled professionally, but with kindness, care, and compassion as well. My surgical site and scar look amazing, and I could not be happier with my recovery. I had a great experience with Dr. Schwartz and his staff and would highly recommend them. They made me feel important and individual in all areas of my care.

I needed to have an MRI of my arm. The staff was able to contact my insurance and within an hour I had approval and was undergoing my MRI. The staff was also very prompt scheduling my surgery.

He was great. Listened, and explained everything. Excellent surgeon with a great bedside manner. Was very pleased with my results.

Unable to schedule an appointment with Dr. Schwartz unless I paid for the visit and treatment out of pocket. He accepts our insurance and his services would be covered by such. I was told since the visit was due to a dog attack injury and will be handled by an attorney, they require us to pay up front.

I would like Dr. Schwartz to administer the shots like he did my first visit. My last visit I had an assistant administer the shots and it was very different from when Dr. Schwartz did it and had difficulty with pain and bruising afterwards. I do have confidence in Dr. Schwartz as my doctor however.

Very passionate about his specialty. Best in lake county but not cheap.

Dr. Schwartz and his team took excellent care of me. I injured myself on Sunday, saw him Monday, and had the surgery on Tuesday. This type of injury was time sensitive to ensure a full recovery. Due to his prompt attention and his excellent surgical expertise, I feel that I recovered much quicker. In addition, I was pleased with a different surgery that he performed on me prior to this injury. Post op visits were above expectations. I would recommend Dr. Swartz and his staff to anyone in need.

Went to see him for help with pain from a previous surgery. He told me to find a new job there's not much he could do for me. Sent me away with a noncontolled pain medication I asked for since I can't take narcotics like noro for the work I'm in and to call when I need refills. 1 month later I needed a refill and he declined it saying I needed an appointment. After he told me the first time there's nothing he could do

Dr. Schwartz did a total shoulder replacement on me and it turned out beautifully. Absolutely no postoperative problems. It was almost pain free. He took the time to align the implant perfectly.

Dr. Schwartz has performed five different surgeries on my wrists and hands over the past 15 years and I have not regretted a single one. All surgeries have been very successful and have made my quality of life sooooo much better. I had very little use of my hands before my surgeries and I am so happy I found him to help me out so much. Thank you and I would highly recommend him.

My experience with Dr. Schwartz was EXCELLENT!!! He was my second opinion and thoroughly happy that I switched Dr.'s when I did. Not sure where I would be if I did not change. He was thorough and straight to the point in what needed to be done. Thank you Dr. Schwartz!!

Dr Schwartz performed rotator cuff repair surgery on my right shoulder 3 years ago, then the same surgery on my left shoulder just recently. Both surgeries went well, both times i went back to work ahead of schedule. Also he performed carpel tunnel surgery on both of my hands, once again excellent work! I would recommend this man to everyone needing like surgeries, i could not have been more fortunate to find this wonderful Dr!
