Dr. Nessler has been my surgeon and Ortho Doctor since June of 2022. I was in a serious accident which left me needing reconstructive surgery on my right leg. Dr. Nessler rearranged his schedule so that I was able to have this surgery done immediately. I will forever be thankful to him for this.

I was pleased with how much time was spend by the medical staff discussing my issues. Everyone was very friendly and helpful.

Very personable and informative. All staff were thorough, explained findings and were reassuring. I felt my concerns were taken seriously and investigated.

I "Self-Checked" in on time. After waiting 25 minutes, I approached the receptionist and was told that my insurance was not active. I knew it had to be active. Because I didn't feel comfortable having an appt if I wasn't sure if I had insurance coverage , I decided I needed to call my insurance agent to verify my insurance status and I was told that yes, it was definitely active. While I was on the phone doing this, the nurse, who finally was going to take me back for my appt after a 45 minute wait, came up to me and said, "Do you want to keep the appt or not?" I had been waiting 45 minutes, but she could not wait for one minute for me to finish my phone call with my insurance agent. I told her I had to make sure I had insurance coverage and told her I that yes, I was keeping the long awaited appt. I had to have my height checked and was told to take off my shoes. There were no chairs available for me to use to sit on to put my shoes back on afterwards. I felt very unstable having to do this standing up with nothing to hold onto. After all, I was there for joint discomfort and a chair would have been appreciated for me to get this task accomplished. . The doctor seemed rushed and when he told me to go on the examination table, he actually tossed my personal clothing on the floor that I had placed on the table and he never picked it up. The appt was very short and I wasn't given much of an opportunity to ask questions. He walked out without so much as a goodbye or thank you. I had to reach behind the exam table to retrieve the clothing that he had dropped on the floor. After the appt, I stopped at the desk to ask to verify that my insurance was indeed active and the receptionist said, that yes it was active after all. I walked away and then remembered I wanted my chart notes sent to me, and approached the receptionist again and when she saw me, she looked very perturbed and impatiently tossed the paperwork she had in her hands off to the side and handed me a form to sign to have my records released to me. She appeared very annoyed. It took a few weeks for me to receive my chart notes and there were inaccurate notes listed in the summary. This appt was the first day (on a Monday) after a 3 day holiday weekend and I think the staff should have had a more upbeat positive attitude towards their patients after having some time off. The only person who was civil to me was the lady helping with the check- in process. It was her I asked to be able to borrow a phone to call my insurance agent to verify my coverage. She was very kind and considerate in helping me use a phone and then transferring the call to the receptionist to get the insurance verified. She was a professional that was willing to give me assistance. None of the other staff said thank you and they all acted indifferent and on the verge of rude towards me. Dr Nessler was most professional, answered all my questions and spent some time with me. The clinic checking in, there were issues. I checked in, but when I was waiting for a long time, past my scheduled appt. I asked a nurse what happened. She looked at the schedule and said I wasn't on there and sent me back to the check-in desk. She couldn't find it either, so I showed her my confirmation on my phone. She looked further and found they entered my birth date wrong. She got me scheduled 1 hour later and I saw the Dr. Could have been a better experience! Knee surgery went very well! Impressive that I could tell the nurses, assistants, just everyone at surgical center enjoyed working there…great attitudes!

Dr. Nessler evaluated and described the best way to replace my old worn-out hip prosthesis. I felt that I was in good hands.

I was very pleased with my appointment with Dr. Nessler and his assistant, Jerry Nelson.

Excellent results with my hip replacement. Took care of my pain and I recovered very quickly. I highly recommend Dr. Nessler.

I highly recommend Dr Nessler. Both hips were replaced (2016 and 2020 due to severe arthritis) before I turned 65 yrs. Because of his and his PA’s knowledge and expertise, I’m leading a normal and active life again.

The best Ortho surgeon around>

Dr. Nessler and his team are very knowledgeable and have always taken great care with my multiple orthopedic needs.

Everyone at the clinic was very helpful, from checking in to meeting with the medical staff. Dr. Nessler had a good balance between being professional and being "down to earth" with my husband and me, he was very personable.

All staff was so wonderful with me today. Dr.Nessler answered all my questions & more. All were very patient with my ?'s and sense of humor! I really appreciate & value the surgery schedule person, Nicole. She was so easy to talk with & flexible with my concerns for so many appointments before surgery. This was my second hip replacement, (another Dr did first hip), and it was a completely different experience! I was walking 4 hours after surgery and then went home. I only used my prescribed pain medication for 2 days, I had very little pain compared to my first surgery. Dr. Nessler was referred to me by someone who researches the best of the best doctors and said Dr. Nessler is the absolute best Orthopedic Surgeon! I agree!! Plan ahead if you can and get your hip replacement by Dr. Nessler and his team at St. Cloud Surgical Center!

This is my second hip surgery, (another doctor did my first hip). A completely different experience!! I was walking 4 hours after surgery! I regained mobility a lot quicker with this surgery, I was able to go home 4 hours after surgery and after day two, I did not need my narcotic pain meds! Dr. Nessler was referred to me as the best Orthopedic Surgeon, I agree!! I am so glad I was able to get in with Dr Nessler and his team!

Knowledgeable, personable, down-to-earth personality. Takes time to explain things and answer questions. He redid a knee replacement done by another surgeon at another clinic two years prior, and did a fantastic job.

Explained thoroughly an advocated non surgical options when I was expecting surgery..................and it worked!
