I first met Dr. Joe when I went to my daughters doctors appointment as a support person and after sitting through the hour long appointment I was very much ready to sign up and also start my health journey outside the “traditional medical model”. I have spent 25 years of my life trying to “figure out” what was wrong with me. I had been to several traditional medical doctors over the years and it was the same routine, talk to me for 5 min 10 min tops and prescribe me medication and follow up in a year. Same thing over and over and I still never felt good. I signed up and for the first time in my life a doctor really took the time to figure out what the root cause of my health issues were. FULL blood panel and hours of conversations and meetings. Almost a year into my NATURAL treatment with Dr. Joe I feel AMAZING! He has taught me so much about good food and healthy living. I am fully aware of what causes my health issues and I avoid them at all costs. I am currently eating to live and not living to eat. Why is this not practiced in traditional medicine? Are they really there to get us feeling better or to keep us enslaved in a system to keep us dependent and sick. If you are literally sick and tired of being sick and tired, you’ve come to the right place. I’m turning 50 this year and I feel amazing! I am so happy with Dr. Joe and his approach to health. I came to Dr. Joe because I was sick and tired of literally being sick and tired. I had extreme fatigue, stomach issues with bloating and just feeling bad, weight that wouldn’t come off and brain fog that started to effect me at work. At 32 years old, I knew I had to do something and do it NOW to have a life of overall health and wellness. I have been seeing Dr. Joe for a couple months and now the brain fog is GONE, my gut health is so much better, no more bloating, I am not feeling the extreme fatigue like I was before and most of all I feel AMAZING! I have been diagnosed as diabetic type II along with neuropathy of the feet. Since I have been seeing him there has been definite improvement in the neuropathy and I am looking forward to great improvements in my overall health. It is hard to find an holistic Doctor in Stark County but I was so thankful to have found Dr. Joe and Krista and Balanced Health Solutions. I got tongue cancer last year and started going to Dr. Joe to relieve some of my side effects to my radiation treatment and neck surgery. He set me up with a supplement regime from Standard Process that quickly got me back to "normal." Plus, his new chiro table makes me feel like a million bucks (without spending a million bucks!). I am thriving now just like I did before my cancer. And Krista is always there when I need a new order of supplements or answering my questions. Dr. Medina helped me when I was toward the end of my rope! I essentially fit all the markers for chronic fatigue syndrome. When I was at my most tired & struggling to go about my normal daily activities, I started seeing Dr. Medina (I’m in my early forties BTW). He listened to me SO carefully & diligently. Highly recommend Dr. Joe! After going from doctor to doctor trying to figure out why I was extremely tired and just not feeling like my normal self, I was told about Dr. Joe. I went to Dr. Joe just for an adjustment. After one session with him, I felt like a brand new person! It’s the best that I’ve felt in years honestly. Besides general chiropractic therapy techniques, he also focuses on finding a cure for all without the typical “pop a pill” method that has been engrained into us by our general medical doctors. He definitely helps all of his patients work on both the inside of their body (making sure to eat right, take the right vitamin supplements, etc) as well as work on the outside of their body (the physical changes - weight loss, overall feeling better and stronger, etc). I would definitely recommend people to Dr. Joe no matter what they have (from chronic health conditions to woman issues to pretty much anything under the sun). If you are doubtful of his work, just take a look at the amount of satisfied patient testimonies that he keeps in his binder and you will see how much he has helped people. I have worked with Dr. Medina doing the Zone Healing program for the last 3 months. In that time, I have lost 25 lbs, my knee pain has almost completely disappeared, and I am sleeping better. Dr. Joe knows his stuff! HIGHLY recommend him to anyone with health issues.

I have had a herniated and bulging disc in the past. I have gone to physical therapy for it and I have also seen another chiropractor before finding Dr. Medina. Dr. Medina takes all things into consideration before he executes any treatment. I go to him for all of my adjustment and even trust him with my children’s health. There are not enough words to explain Dr. Medina and his practice! Krista is the most personable woman and makes it a pleasure coming in. Dr. Medina is 100% health focused and does not bandaid complaints, instead he works with you on the whole body (inside and out) to ensure a long, healthy life. I had fatigue, brain fog, reynaud's issues and just a general blah feeling. Just over one month of Dr. Medina's expertise, I have done a 180 and feel great - my fatigue and brain fog is gone and I can't remember the last time I had a reynaud's phenomena, I have been sleeping great and feeling more alert/brain sharpness. Dr. Medina taught me what to eat and why so I could reprogram my brain due to managing three autoimmune disorders. With supplements and his guidance, I am still cane/crutch free after five years. I promote his work and his "service to others" mentality. So many people do not have mindsets to help themselves or even know where to start. They would rather pop a pill to eliminate or minimize a medical condition only to have to take something else due to side affects. "We" are responsible for what we put in our body. Having Dr. Medina's resources has changed my life. I wish there were more holistic doctors in the world. I know it’s coming, but it’s at a snail pace.
