For so many reason, he's a horrible doctor. Does not care about his patients, misdiagnoses them..my niece and nephew were sadly misdiagnosed by him, SEVERAL TIMES!! Left them untreated and suffering, prescribed MANY unnecessary medications, which in time, had ADVERSE EFFECTS. Our new doctor is BAFFLED by his lack of professionalism and carelessness. This doctor should have his license revoked, as he does not care about his patients. I could go on, but I'll just a review to warn other parents and patients.

All three of my kids see Dr Luna and it has been a wonderful experience for sure. Two of my children have struggled with respiratory issues, every doctor they have been to completely dismissed them and they both ended up in the hospital PICU multiple times on high flow oxygen for several days at a time. I began feeling so hopeless and mentally exhausted from the hospital trips and worried about them getting sick all the time. At our first appointment with Dr. Luna he took preventive actions with my son and he did the same for my daughter when she had her first appointment. For the first time I feel like someone acknowledged it wasn’t right for them to be so sick all the time and decided to do something about it! My kids have not been to the hospital since we started seeing Dr. Luna he has managed their health and took such great care of all of them I felt so many emotions after our first appointment I could’ve cried. Seriously can’t thank Dr. Luna enough, he is great with my kids and the office staff is amazing my children really love it. The ladies at Dr. Luna’s office are AMAZING, they’re super friendly and always happy around the kids they’re seeing. However, the main dr himself is quite the opposite. He’s a very grumpy old man who seems to be very antisocial. He always seems like he has no interest in treating children, or even being around them in general. Every time we took our daughter in he was in a foul mood, and was very nonchalant about treating our child. Horrible treatment by the doctor. Rude. Condescending. Unprofessional. Doesn't care about about child. Took him in to get care and doctor didn't provide a covid test that he said he needed based on symptoms. Wasted time and didn't take him dizzy spells or auditory issues seriously. Wanted us to come in next morning be seen again after being seen the day before. Asked what we wanted to do since they missed giving test, If we wanted bloodwork or mri...we said bloodwork and he said no you can go to urgent care or find another doctor and he hung up on us while.on speaker phone and knowingly having our child also on the phone. Unfortunately, office is amazing doctor isnt.

I would not recommend this doctor....his staff and the office girls are very friendly and sweet but Dr. Luna himself is very off. My daughter has been seeing him for 5 months. He won’t look at you while speaking to you and he mumbles when he does talk. He always tries to talk over you when you even try to ask a question. Even when I did ask a question he never really answered it. He shows little to no interest and I always felt rushed. My daughter was sick and came in for a check up after being on antibiotics and asked if her cough had gotten any better and it had, I told him she wasn’t coughing as much, my daughter coughed and he laughed and said “I thought you said her cough was getting better?.” And rolled his eyes af me and just sent us on our way. If he was a caring doctor he would’ve reevaluated it and made sure everything was fine, I ended up taking her to a different pediatrician and she got the treatment she needed. We won’t be going back. Let's get to the point, my daughter, now 7, was taken there as an infant. I was constantly told she was under weight and to give her pediasure. I knew she was small but certainly not unhealthy. I also was told she had a possible UTI and they failed to get a bagged sample of urine and was directed to Hurley Hospital where they ended up using a catheter on my baby. Horrible experience. Didn't even have a UTI. Years later now I have a 15mo old son whom I take to Dr. Hassan and my sister takes her 15mo old son to Luna currently. Luna is directing my sister to give her son pediasure and they have even called her to ask how much he is drinking. My son and her son are the SAME weight height and age yet my son has never once been brought up by the doctors there at Hassans office as underweight. We adore Dr. Luna. Yes, he is a little rough around the edges, but the personality from the girls MORE than makes up for that. I have 2 little boys that have gone there since the day they were born, and will continue to do so. LOVE LOVE LOVE the girls, and so do my boys! Dr. Luna, as stated, can be rough around the edges, but has always answered my questions, thoroughly, and repeated with no hesitation. He is a great pediatrician, and my boys love him. So my wife and I have read the reviews, people's negativity and all of that. I won't lie, we were skeptical. However all of our visits, even during covid have been top notch. They respect our family as well as our daughter and treat her well. I won't sugar coat it, some days people whether the doctor or staff seem a bit tense or out of it, but they deal with children all day. I cant say as a parent I have never not had a moment when I needed a breather, but they probably don't get a chance. I truly believe Dr Luna is a great doctor for our child and that the staff who work at the facility are excellent. Wish I could give it a 6/5. I've taken my son to 4 different pediatricians thanks to moving... But I've gone back to doctor Luna when we moved back to the davison area... The point being is he takes good care of my kid. One time my son had a rash (after a flu vaccine) and he responded via his personal cell phone after hours. He doesn't treat my child differently even though he physically looks different. He's a very good doctor and he's always taken excellent care of my son. Dr. Luna is a quiet man but he's always listened to my concerns. The point is he takes excellent care of my boy and his office staff is top notch. He's very kind to my son and my son loves him. Also his office has been great during covid. Dr. Luna is an amazing pediatrician. He was very thorough with my newborn and her health issues. He would call me directly and update me daily on her lab results and stayed on top of her care. He’s pretty to the point and strict kind of guy, but you can tell he just puts your child’s health first above your comfort and that’s how it really should be. If you are not educated on any health topic he will educate you. The staff is also amazing, they are all very sweet and I feel very comfortable having conversations with them, feels like they are a family and it’s very comforting to have that in a doctors office. Very professional office and staff.

Obgyns, joke about this Doctor being so stuck on himself. I should of listened, and ran.

If I could give a zero ,I would. He will not even look at the parent and acts as if you're irrelevant. He also missed diagnosed my son for colic. When I had a second MD reevaluate my son and he actually had acid reflux. Awful awful pediatrician.

We didn't stay with Dr Luna very long. We noticed he was a bit awkward around us. He mumbles when he talks and didn't really have good bedside manner when it came to our son. He rarely interacted with him other than checking him over. I am sure he is very knowledgeable but it became frustrating when we noticed he was overly diagnosing our son. He thought our son may need therapy due to his legs and feet pointing out. Spoke to many others who said this will fix itself as he gets older. But what really caused us to switch doctors was when he thought our son had Kawasaki Disease. Naturally you hear something like that and you begin to panic a bit. We brought him to Hurley and when the specialist came in he immediately said he doesn't have it. Said he is just sick and its obvious when babies have it and he doesn't. They told us we could use normal medication for fever and go about our way and that taking blood was not necessary. We contacted the doctors office and he said he still wants his blood drawn. We decided to try another doctor because we felt like this is something he would continue to do..we don't want the worry that our son has something serious all the time when he doesn't. While I realize this may of been just one mistake and everyone makes mistakes, we just felt like there are other compassionate doctors who are more adept at being social and kind to our kids. He’s a great doctor! Absolutely love that he truly cares for all the kids he sees.

We love Dr Luna ???? he cares. been going there (kids and grandkids) around 20 years.

I absolutely love Dr.Luna. Dr.Luna is straight to the point. I’ve tried out two different doctors for my kids and disliked how they were with my children and how they were wrongly diagnosed.

While I was clipping my daughter into her car seat he was in MY room on his laptop and I tried to make small talk because it was silent and he was in my little room. Dr. Luna has been both my childrens doctors for 13 years. He is always very thorough and very knowledgeable. His staff is top notch and friendly. When we were looking for a doctor for our children we wanted someone who knows what they're doing. Also when we need to get them in quickly, we can with Dr. Luna . He will make time (not in a couple of days). Dont mistake his professional demeanor as uncaring its the farthest from the truth. He is a Professional and thats what you need from a Doctor.

My sister was traumatized as a 3rd grade overweight girl by this insensitive, degrading, monster. He said to her straight to her face as a THIRD GRADER that there was obviously the weight issue and that she needed to lose weight. I am not saying she didn't have a weight issue, but my mom was right there and he should have talked to her alone about it and not just ruined this little girl's confidence. I would not recommend this doctor to my worst enemy because of how it left my sister's confidence, she could have developed a serious eating disorder with this kind of influence. Dr. Luna is great with my daughter. Talks very clear to her. However, when it comes to talking to the parents, he mumbles because he buries his face in his laptop, and gets frustrated when he's asked to repeat himself.

Absolutely best doctor . For all most 14 years he is taking care my kids. We in really good health. My son had a footbal practice and same night we had we'll visit . Something was not right ... we had to go to cpecialist and my son had a surgery JUST in time! So thank you doctor Luna!
