Excellent doctor. Responds to patient portal messages quickly. Very understanding and caring. Patient portal really helps for me. After each visit they give a case summary of what exactly we discussed and they have all my medical information easily accessible on the portal. Thanks Dr. Lopez!

READ CAREFULLY: I give Dr. Lopez a 5!!! Love than man & how much he cares for his patients. But ever since "Madonna Swan" stepped into play, medications go unsent. I have my pharmacy calling her everyday because she swears she sent it & there is nothing there. And when my pharmacy does call, NO ONE at the office picks up. THEY are just as frustrated for me! The pharmacy knows my monthly medications. And to have a staff incompetent & not answer was wild to everyone at the pharmacy. PRO: The doctor himself. Such a diamond CON: His staff. Dr Lopez is great!

Dr Lopez is a great guy and great doctor. Its his office that seems to not be able to do things. I went in to get a new doc and meds. Its a week later and finally got a call about my test results and no meds still. I had to go to someone else. Just not happy and upset with it.

He was so friendly and easy talk

“TERRIBLE” and I am a Retired Army Veteran, GULF WAR VETERAN, 100% DISABLED. Had the San Antonio Police called on me by staff members for disturbing the office (only went there to get wife’s (who is also a Veteran) prescription, and check and see why nobody was answering my phone calls, which even waiting for an answer with my phone ringing standing up in front of the receptionist (Erica). I decided to leave, no one asked me to leave, not even Dr Lopez (well, I didn’t speak or seen him for the 30-45 minutes I was waiting to get my wife prescription or for someone to tell me anything about it. But, to be ID’ed to the Police by 2 of the Staff Members at the Elavator. So, this is how VETERANS, who put their lives on the line for citizens of the United states of America is treated. People in THIRD WORLD COUNTRIES, which I and my wife been to, are treated a whole like better. My family and I during our 17 years being overseas, we’re treated a lot better in a foreign country, then we are treated in our own native America country.

i have called 7 times since you opened your office today 8/5/21. i am in pain!!!! your office staff does not answer the phone, and when i did hear them answer, they hung up! This is very alarming and concerning when i’m in pain. I expect better when i’m paying top dollar for medical insurance and i expect better care! Someone call or answer the phone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great one-on-one Doctor who cares about his patients.

Doctor Joseph Lopez was not ethical and during a physical exam refused to check a fungal infection on my foot. I was told during my physical exam by his assistant (Dr Lopez asked her to tell me) that I would have to schedule another app. Doctor Lopez was not very well knowledgeable about certain medications, physical exam was poorly completed (did not check important areas).

Dr Lopez attended my son while our PCP was out of office. My son had kicked a stick that went in his foot on Wednesday and he helped us out Friday at closing as his foot was becoming swollen and infected. We got xrays and antibiotic. Unfortunately my son's condition got worse. He squeezed us in and we got a stronger antibiotic. He is doing much better. Dr. Lopez has a great bedside manner and was even appreciative of the notes I kept on my sons condition. Dr Lopez attended my son while our PCP was out of office. Love the office everyone is super nice and friendly, Dr. Lopez takes care of me and is very thorough! He takes care of my family, His nurse Amanda is sweet and patient with me. downfall- The scales are broken and need to be banned from the office!

I called Dr. Lopez for vertigo on 5-14-18. I was not able to walk without a cane on one side and a person on the other. He told me to wait until Tuesday. He told me I would be well every 2 days for a week because I kept coming back because I was getting worse. He flushed one of my ears at my insistence which needed to be flushed badly. DO NOT GO TO THIS DR. -HE IS INEPT AND UNKNOWLEDGEABLE. He ended up over medicating me and misdiagnosing me for 2 yrs. 9 days later-the drugs wore off.

Dr. Lopez has been my family practice internist for almost 20 years. He is sincerely concerned about me as his patient, and listens, understands needs and provides accurate diagnoses and treatment plans. Most importantly, his attitude in all appointments I have ever had with him is upbeat and positive, regardless of the medical situation I might have.

I couldn't get an appointment with my previous doctor and his staff were being extremely rude... So I looked online for a new PCP and found Dr. Lopez. He and his staff were very nice and welcoming and left a great impression. Think I have found my new PCP! Thank you Dr. Lopez!

Dr. Lopez is our HMO Doctor, I am 76 and my wife is 77. We are able to go together to our appointments which means we are all working together to make our health better. He is kind and great compassion for his patients. My wife fractured her left knee. He explained the healing of her knee better than the Orthopedics Doctor did. What a great doctor he is. Dr Lopez saved my life. I was having stomach pain, and he ordered an ultrasound that led to the discovery of a fist-sized tumor growing around my aorta. If he didn't order those tests, I may not be here today.

Dr. Lopez and his Nurse are excellent listeners and providers. They take everything you say into consideration when coming up with a plan to tackle a health issue. The front office staff is also nice and easy to work with. Dr. Lopez has been my PCP for 8 years!

Dr. Lopez and staff is the most courteous medical office that I've been to. I received an appointment the following day. The nurse was very efficient. Dr. Lopez is a listener, gives expert advice, and makes sure all concerns and questions are answered.

Dr. Lopez was my Dr. for a good while but moved to a different clinic but did not practice for a few months. It took a few months to again find Dr. Lopez. There is only 2 reasons I would ever change Drs. (1) he runs me off lol (2) or quits practicing all together. I have only had 5 or 6 Drs. in 63 years and he is the best I have had, period.

I have been going to Dr. Lopez for years now. when he moved practices I had a hard time finding him and when I did I quickly switched doctors. Dr. Lopez is easy to talk with and he won't make feel you dumb. He answers questions so you can understand them. Both my wife and son have switched their doctors to start seeing Dr. Lopez.

Dr. Lopez is very caring and dedicated to his profession. Always has a smile on his face and ready to listen to my health issues. I consider myself a fortunate patient to have him as my physician.
