This place employs people that talk about their patients personal info outside of their practice and have been told that the same employee (Melissa) has taken prescribed meds from the office without a prescription and they choose to do nothing about it! I thought everything was ok and surgery was going to be done and then the surgery schedular canceled it because she was having a bad day and thought i said the dr should retire when i said i wanted to be seen before he retires. Which he has so i guess he didnt tell her. So we had to go somewhere else hopefull y this girl gets fired for what she did. Between dr Heidelman and this young girl they were acting like highschoolers with jealousy issuses.

Dr. Heidelman removed two fractured teeth and placed two implants. One tooth had internal resorption and the other fractured eating corn on the cob. Very little pain postopertatively. He's not the chair of the OS programs at IU for nothing. He was my go to guy when I was in practice. James R. Lindeman, DDS IUSD 1973

Several years ago I had surgery done by this Dr. Instead of going in and shaving off some of my jaw bone, he ended up cutting a portion of it out. He ended up hitting a nerve and now I have right sided paralysis on my face and I can't close my right eye all the way, nor can I move my eyebrow. The main purpose of the surgery was to help me open my mouth bigger, but that wasn't a success at all. I'm very disappointed by this surgeon.

He was my oral surgeon when I was life lifelined. When I got out of hospital I continued to do an hour and 15 minutes drive to get work done. He does excellent work. I’m so glad he was on call for me that day. My implant looks amazing. Thank you.

I saw Dr Heidelman at IU. I was experiencing a lot of pain and swelling. He ordered a CT scan which he said showed nothing and sent me on my way. Another oral surgeon saw an abscess that had been there so long that it weakened my jaw bone. Had I listened to Dr Heidelman and not sought treatment, it could have been so much worse!

My dentist recommended Dr. Heidelman to do my wisdom tooth extraction, I always have a fear about this surgery. I have heard all kinds of horror stories from my friends regarding having this surgery. Well, it turned out he is EXCELLENT, he removed all 4 wisdom tooth very quickly and always tried to make sure that I was comfortable during the whole experience. His assistant Ashley was also outstanding! I did not experience any significant pain or discomfort after the surgery and had a very speedy recovery. I would highly recommend Dr. Heidelman. I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth extracted by the Dr. 2 of them were impacted and needed surgical extractions and the Dr. did an amazing job. I got IV sedation and got them removed and I had minimal pain and swelling. By the time I went for a follow up I was told I was perfectly normal just had to continue using syringe to clean the wound.

He is the head of dental surgery department at IUPUI dental school. I did not expect anything but excellent work from him. My tooth that had crown broke at the gum line. In less than half an hour he extracted the root and inserted an implant where the root was and I was out without any pain. Two months later a crown was put on the implant and I cannot even feel that I have a fake tooth. Both of my faughters have impacted wisdom teeth and I am taking them to Dr. Heidelman to extract them.
