My son and I went in for flu symptoms all within 24 hrs of getting them. We went to MedPost Urgent Care in Grosse Pointe. There were 3 people ahead of us. I kid you not- we waited 3 hours and 10 minutes for the Dr. When he finally DID make it in to our exam room, he wanted to know why we were there. (After we repeatedly had told the nurse and we input it into their system via their iPad). He did NOT wash his hands. Not even when he walked in. (He did rinse his hands in water only between our examinations) We repeated our symptoms to him twice. He still couldn’t process much of it at all. He could barely open his eyes. After examining me he said, “What symptoms are bothering you the most?” THEN I had to ask him directly what the results were of our flu tests, “Oh yes, his (pointing to my son) is positive and yours is negative. He can take Tamiflu. Yours will probably go away in a day or two. You have bronchitis. I guess I can give you amoxicillin. (Points to door) Go out there. Wait there. Ok.” I firmly believe the DMC has a major liability on their hands by employing this Dr. in an urgent care facility let alone employing him at all. He is either in dire need of retiring or is on something that is greatly impairing his ability to process cognitively and his physical capability. He literally didn’t pick up his feet to walk, and it was clear the entire place moves at a snails pace. I URGE you NOT to trust them with anyone in your family. My son and I went in for flu test. We waited 3 hours and 10 minutes for the Dr. When he finally DID make it in to our exam room, he wanted to know why we were there. (After we had told the nurse and we input it into their system iPad). He did NOT wash his hands. Not even when he walked in. Examined me and then asked what my worst symptom was?! Then said I had bronchitis. I had to ask the results of our flu tests. My son was positive I was neg. he pointed to waiting room and said “go there. Wait”

Has the compassion of a doorknob! Poor excuse for a doctor!!!!
