Knowing the difference between a therapist and a psychiatrist, I have had nothing but good experiences.

If I had a choice it wouldn’t be Dr Grau. He churns you out just for a check. Does not counsel and when I try to discuss the issues I’m having I get cut off and script written. Every time. He’s exactly what is wrong with our mental health system.

My grandmother sees this doctor through a seniors mental health program. She ran out of her prescription before her appointement (1 day). He was at his office so I called to see if i could get her prescriptions filled. The receptionist was very rude an refused to leave a note for the doctor. She kept telling me that I needed to call the seniors program to get it resolved (they were not answering). Regardless of where she sees him, she is still his patient. They could have cared less if she ran out of her psych medicine at that office, and refused to do anything about it. I'm just now seeing these other reviews and I am not impressed whatsoever. He doesn't have time to counsel a person. He just wants a person in & out to get a prescription. If a person has a reverse reaction to a medication, he will not return your call to help you. Very poor DR rating.

I am a new patient so I knew scheduling would take a bit. I made an appt for 3 weeks out (first available). After 2 weeks of waiting on the new patient paperwork in the mail I called back. They told me there was no record of my appt and the next available was 3 more weeks out. At that point I'll be out of meds and they offered no help. Then the night before the initially scheduled "lost" appointment I get a reminder call, but it's not my name at all. My name has 9 letters and theirs has 4.
