Dr. Joseph M Gottfried

Dr Gottfried has by far been the best experience for our family. Not only does he consistently show how he is the most competent of all the psychiatrists in this community but also reveals the most compassionate of human beings. we should applaud his competency and never let him go.

I thought part of your job was to advocate for your patients. Letting both parents fight over medicating there 9 year old in front of the 9 year old is pretty bad he is not a pawn. Not everyone believes a kid can be “fixed” by taking a pill. Hopefully now when we help him with his math he won’t start crying right the pill is going to fix it all BS. Also Having a conversation about people in his life who love a care about him and saying there opinions don’t matter because they “aren’t family” you should be ashamed of yourself I thought part of your job was to advocate for your patients. Very kind and helpful. My son relates well to Dr Gottfried. Difficult working with staff at uchealth nurses station as calls roll over to them after 4 pm on Friday afternoon. Nurses will not put you in touch with someone who can send a prescription for your child. Make sure your pharmacy contacts you with issues getting prescriptions before 4 pm or you will not be able to get medications for your child for the weekend. Very kind and helpful. Let’s parents use children as a pawn during the visit. Chooses to side with the mother who wants to prescribe pills agreeing that no other avenues should even be looked in to. Telling parents that other people in his life aren’t warranted an opinion because they aren’t “family”. Despite them having numerous education degrees
