Dr. Joseph G. Fine

My experience was awful.He did my surgery 2 years ago. I still have a open wound on my back.It still drains and bleeds.Seen another surgeon that explained I would have to have surgery again.My back is so messed up now it don't look the same. The scare goes every way . Reason there is a open hole in my back still after 2 years.

Dr. Fine seemed irritated with me the moment he entered the room. He didn't listen to the knowledge that I have about MY OWN BODY and seemed to be sure that his knowledge about OTHERS applied more to the situation at hand. However, the staff and nurses were amazing and very friendly. The nurse who took my vitals asked me more questions then Dr. Fine did. My blood pressure was extremely low (not normal for me) and Dr. Fine didn't mention it once during the exam. Don't waste your time here.

I DO NOT recommend Dr. Fine. My recovery was about a week long and my scar was bad. I compared this to my sister who had the same procedure (removed gallbladder) with a different doctor and her experience was much different. I questioned Dr. Fine about my the length of recovery and he seemed very annoyed that I was questioning him. I got a copy of my medical records and took them to another doctor to review. That Dr. said although he didn't do anything "wrong" his technique was very outdated.

I"m actually the guy in the pictures wife and I went into Winchester hospital with a mild case of Appendicitis. By mild I mean the pain was not bad at all but I knew something was wrong. Without this surgeon I would have died. However, I found him very cocky and the fact that he kept pushing on my stomach while I was in pain to prove a point just made me more irritable. He was horrible at being comforting. Not everyone is meant to deal with people that's why he fixes people. He is definitely a director kind of personality. My biggest stitch ended up healing in the form of a J. His first name is Joseph, I find it hard to believe this is a coincidence. I give it a four out of five because he saved my life. I am amazed at Dr. Joseph G. Fine, he is a superior doctor with professionalism that is obvious in the care of his patients, I have the utmost respect for this doctor, I will never forget the care and concern that he showed my brother during a recent hospitals stay. Sincerely, Nancy Centers

He treated me professionally, did surgery on a very difficult problem and he and his partner came to see me twice per day while in the hospital without fail, no matter how late it might have been. He had explained everything that he was going to do and what I could expect. I found him to be a conscience and thorough doctor and I have no problem recommending Dr. Fine to any of my family and friends.
