I love Dr Dunaway! He comes in the room amd observes my baby. He watches the way he reacts then he ask questions. Then looks him over and listens to him breath. This Dr really cares and takes his time to find out whats going on. If he don't know. He will sens you to get s 2nd opinion.

My appointment was heartbreaking. My mom was worried about me because I needed a good primary care physician that would continue to prescribe my new medicine to me and also because I was having what felt like severe shortness of breath. I went to the appointment, and I was surprised at how confused the nurses were. They did not relay any information to the doctor correctly, and they made it clear they were not sure they even used the breathing machine correctly but nonetheless gave the results to the doctor. I explained to them that the reason I had changed doctors was because my last doctor did not know what mgs of my medicine to prescribe to me, and that he had put me on a very low dose. I had actually increased the dosage myself maybe 3 days before that. As someone who used to be a medical assistant, I knew something was not right when they came back to draw blood to check on how my medicine was doing, as I had only been taking it less than two weeks and they don’t check that at least 6 weeks. No communication. They decided that my shortness of breath was panic attacks and then they prescribed a blood pressure medicine, that is sometimes used to help with anxiety. I took the medicine for 3 days and oddly got a few large hives on my back and my breathing seemed to get worse. I called and left a message for the nurse, and was not called back until the next day. I have never been more uncomfortable and in pain. I feel like I am suffocating. It’s been going on for 3 weeks now. The nurse called back and she was mean to me. She told me that my blood test had come back and that I wasn’t taking my medication and that was why I was having shortness of breath or what they dub “panic attacks.” I tried to explain that they had taken the test too soon, it had only been two weeks, and the breathing problems started before I even began my medicine. There were a lot of long pauses from her. She showed zero empathy. She treated me like I was bothering her, and I was beneath her, not worth her time She told me to go see a psychiatrist. I started crying, and my mom called their office several times to defend me but they would not call her back. They did however call me back and tell me for the second time that Dr. Dunnaway didn’t want to see me as a patient anymore, and I promptly hung up and teared up again. So basically I drove half an hour away to be humiliated. They’ll charge me for all the tests they did wrong or that I didn’t need. They clearly discriminate against people with mental illness/anxiety if they even diagnosed me correctly. I am still laying in bed suffocating and taking my medicine, waiting to find a doctor that has genuine care for his patients and isn’t just trying charge them for labs, X-rays, bad breathing machines, rx given, and new patient exam. Check your EOB people. This doctor is all about the money. Only a former medical assistant who also used to work with billing and insurance would know. (Me) Total Scam. Cruel nurses. I don’t even know if I should blame the doctor. Maybe the nurses fudged this up all on their own, but a good doctor hires a kind nurse. I do plan on contesting my EOB. You can’t give patients tests that aren’t medically necessary at that date of service. There is no room for error in a medical office or people die. Get it together. I use to get upset because sometimes I would have to wait awhile, but I don't get upset any more. This is why, Dr Dunaway is going to take just as much time with you as he did with the last patient. I appreciate him caring enough to sit down and try to figure out the problem. If he doesn't know or if he thinks you need to see someone else he will let you know. Highly recommend Dr. Dunaway. I have been going to him as my Dr. for over 10 years.

Best doctor I’ve have found so far. Have had Dr Dunnaway for three yrs have not been in hospital. Before I got Him was admitted 38 times in 13 years. He is the first Dr that got my meds on track, which were causing my body to shut down! Thanks Doc!

I've been going to Dr. Dunaway for about 15 yrs now. He is so kind to his patients and so caring. I truly care for Dr. Dunaway, because he truly cares for me. Thanks Dr.

Amazing doctor! I feel blessed to have found a doctor like Dr. Dunaway. He is delivering my baby very soon and I plan to use him as a family doctor for as long as he is in practice. Absolutely the best doctor I've seen in this area. He takes his time with each patient and seems to genuinely care about your health and needs. Would recommended him to everyone!

Not only were the people rude over the phone, getting seen in a timely manner is not an option here. I'm still extremely sick and missing work and it's gonna be at least another 3 days until they can get me scheduled, if they even call back. They have yet to call, I've had to contact them every time.

Dr Dunaway is the most amazing Dr I have ever had!!! He lets u talk and will joke with u, he's great with kids and he really seems like he knows what he is doing and like he has a love for his job.
