Best orthopedic doctor I have ever been to.

Terrible doctor. Extremely rude. Needs to turn his cell phone OFF when seeing a patient and not repeatedly check it. Acted like he could not have cared less if I was there or not, let alone if something was wrong with my hand. Did not even physically exam my hand/arm or offer any thoughts or ideas of what was going on with it. Just stared blankly ahead, counting that insurance money in his head, as I tried to explain to him my symptoms and what I was experiencing with my hand/arm. USELESS VISIT

Rude. Treats people like there stupid. Would not send people I don't like to him. a question about why your there he is rude.

Awful person. I honestly wouldn't even call whatever it is a doctor. More of an angry dinosaur who needs to retired I'd say. Ignorant to modern orthopedic practices. Didn't know what PRP or BMAC injections were. Turns out my family doctor knows more than this guy.

After David's knee surgery, he came out with severe nerve pain. Darrow said it's not his problem and said there was NO medication that would help and gave him nothing for the nerve pain. Also waited until the day he was released to tell him he had mrsa in the knee the surgery was done on. Also told him if he needed pain medication, he would have to go see his regular doctor. I would not send a dead animal to this guy...

A very intelligent man. Knew exactly what I needed done. Took care of the problem until I was completely healed.

Worst experience ever. Had a broken ankle so I had surgery September 28th.After surgery I was not able to breathe on my own and couldn't pee. Well he told me that was not a health condition and tried sending me home. I refused to go home. Same thing happened the next day. Follow up appointments he would take a xray of my ankle but would next exam in and see how it was doingupWas still having problems with my ankle so I went to a ankle specialist in Columbia. I just had surgery on my ankle again.

I would never under any circumstances send anyone to this fool. He has no bedside manner, makes fun of his patients if they are overweight, does not follow up on their care after surgery if they are dealing with infection. He is totally worthless as a physician. My Mother had to be taken to Iowa City, IA to have her knee operated on again after he let her lay in a hospital with staff infection. White blood cell count was 41000, normal is around 3000. These doctors were appalled by this doctor.
