Joseph Matthew Chase

Yesterday I would have left a 4 or a 5. But today after being dumped by him during the worst year in the history of my health life for 3 listed reasons that were (1) never communicated to me and (2) aren't even justifiable it's a 1. I would suggest going to a doctor that cares more about you as a person and your health and safety rather than if you are coming in 4x a year to pay them. It's a shame because I really did like Dr. Chase, but even if this situation was a mistake and gets rectified, I will not be returning simply for being turned away during the lowest point in my life. Who wants that as their primary care doctor?

I have been a patient of Dr. Chase for almost ten years. I have had chronic health problems that have only gotten worse and he ignores literally everything. Both insurance and pharmacies constantly told me that he did everything wrong but I thought they were making excuses. However, it's become extremely evident after switching insurance and pharmacies so many times that the problem has always been Dr. Chase. He's not a good doctor but he certainly loves telling you how great of a doctor he is. You will never get into an appointment on time even if you're an hour early. If you have any sort of need that requires actually contacting someone, this is not the doctor for you. You will never get a person when you call and if you get called back it will be at least a week later. Then you will have to play a game of telephone through multiple people because he's too busy to actually talk to you himself... Funny that he has all the time in the world to fit in an expensive appointment for the same time though. Seems like he cherry picks patients and he will definitely worsen your care if he doesn't make a ton of easy money off of you. Which will inevitably make you mad which he will try to use to dismiss you. Not withstanding the fact that he is directly responsible for your worsened condition... Do yourself a favor, find a doctor who isn't so obsessed with the fact he's a doctor and actually helps you because they want to help not make easy money.

He says he is accepting new patients, however, the first appointment available is a month out from calling. The staff is very inconsiderate and rude when trying to schedule an appointment. We decided to go elsewhere. I don’t know if he is a good doctor but if you can’t get an appointment and his staff is rude then it’s not worth trying the doctor.

My husband and I became patients of this doctor a couple of years ago, and we have been very happy with our decision. He, and his staff, are very personable, and willing to discuss any issue.
