I went to try to quit smoking. My first visit was awful. In saying this my left hand at my thumb hurts severely. When the doctor put the needle in I let him and his assistant know that it hurt when he tapped the needle further in. It was like severe burning sensation, as if a nerve was hit that shouldn't have been. I asked his assistant if it was supposed to hurt like that but she didn't reply. She hooked me up to electrodes which was normal I'm sure but the actual electric shock never was felt in my ears. I left the office and didn't return, not because of the pain in my left thumb / to my wrist hurting but because covid was going around my workplace and I told their office staff this. Since then my pain is worse in my left thumb to my wrist. I believe a nerve might be damaged but pray that it's not permanent. Dr. Carter told me I'd get sick if I smoked another cigarette but I didn't. I gave him the benefit of the doubt for a few days. I wish this could've worked for me. I paid $600 for one acupuncture. He told me up front that I'd pay this whether it took 1 visit or a months worth. He's not a bad doctor. I just had a bad experience with this hand pain now which has turned me off of having any more possible nerve endings being damaged. I'm putting this message out there because one has to be careful. Doctors are not God. I'm pretty sure he didn't mean to hurt my hand! What doctor would do that? My brother goes to him and brags on him. I'm just the unfortunate one, I suppose. Dr.Carter as well as his staff are kind, patient, and knowledgeable!

Dr. Carter is one of the most caring people I have ever met. He has helped me heal my back pain. He is also very honest and has referred people I know to other physicians if he feels that he can not help treat their pain! Truly a stand-up man and Doctor!

Thanks to Dr. Carter, I am free of pain and am able to be as active as I wish to be.

Dr, Carter Sees my mother two to three times a week and has not solved the problem of her back pain. She has arthritis and osteoporosis which is aggravated by these services. I do not recommend him. He also convinced her to not seek help for a medical doctor.

Dr. Carter devotes as much time as needed. He talked with me for over 15 minutes on the first visit, listening as well as talking. He is very concerned with his patients. Great Doc.

Amazing! I have been suffering with back pain for years, tried so many meds- with no results, and after few visits and accup invitee with adjustments - I felt so much better. Stop taking meds , was able to start exercising! As a physician I am amazed by the results and strongly recommend to anyone to try! Thank you dr Carter
