I’m a type 1 diabetic for 19 years already (now 22) & as i started getting older i started getting constant ingrowns.. this year i finally decided to get them permanently removed & it was the best decision ever! It’s been 10 months & i’m happy to say they haven’t came back. Very pleased with the work done!

My husband has had an ingrown toenail for 6 years! Within this first visit Dr. Caprusso was able to remove the nail but before he did that he suggested an X-ray to be sure there was no bone infection. I can see why he was voted best podiatrist! Dr Caporusso, even this one star is way more than you deserve. After you saw my father a year and a half ago, he and our family are still paying a very high price for your so called “health services”. Your lack of medical knowledge, care towards your patients and understanding of patients history has lead to the amputation of two toes and a VERY deep seeded infection. I have personally seen how you and the care you provided brought my fathers health down, he can barely walk now thanks to you and your staff. From our first visit to continued visits he has always shown compassion, care and concern for my husband. He is straight forward and you have to follow his instructions and advice and don’t miss appointments!

Dr. Caporusso, my diabetic father is still recuperating from his first visit with you about a year ago. You debrided a callus on a foot that he wasn't concerned about and you failed to address his original reason for visit; his other foot. Your chart notes document that you explained the procedure to the patient and provided wound care instructions; which did not occur. No antibiotics to guard off infection were prescribed and your staff only gave the patient Neosporin after being asked. For you only being face to face with the patient about 5 minutes, billing a full office visit and providing the lowest level of patient care are not even the worst parts of his experience. My father came close to having his toe and part of his foot amputated as a result of your negligence, lack of follow up and failure to properly address the right concern for the patient. All patients, deserve the best care and to be able to trust the decision of their provider. As a provider and a "specialist" you failed to do both. I urge your patients to ask questions, be informed about patient consent and know that as patients they have rights. Expect a complaint to the medical board. In 5 visits he was in the exam room with me for a total of 16 1/2 minutes. The longest exam was a little over 3 minutes and the shortest was 22 seconds. I timed him. He ignored my symptoms and I am now in danger of having to have my foot amputated. I will never go to him again.

Dr. Joseph M. Caporusso was able to quickly diagnose my foot ailment as a small callus and not a tailor's bunion. After weeks of pain, in just ten minutes I was out of the office after a minor removal of excess tissue on my left foot and a prescription for medication to soften the tissue. Thanks
