finally resolved long sinus issue with procedure in office, so grateful for Dr, Capo expertise and skills

I went to the Capo nose and sinus center after having chronic sinus infections and  loss of sense of smell for over a year. The day of my first appointment Dr. Capo did a scan of my sinuses IN office, and had me scheduled for surgery just weeks from my first visit. Day of the surgery, I spent about an hour and half in the office in total for the procedure (Ballon, and deviated septum). Working a labor intensive job i was back at work 5 days after the surgery (no straining) without any problems. It has now been 2 months since I had my sinuses done by Dr. Capo and I couldn't be happier with the outcome!! I'm nowhere near as congested as I was, don't always feel fatigued (better sleep), and most importantly I'm getting my sense of smell back again after over year of losing it. If you are looking for a quality ENT on long island Dr. Capo, and his staff at ENT Associates of Nassau County, are the people to go to. There were no problems taking my insurance, and if I ever called with questions the doc or one of his staff was quick to respond. I will 100%, be back to Dr.Capo for any sinus issues, and really am beyond grateful for the job they did. Thanks Dr. Capo and staff!!!

I had been under the care of a different otolaryngologist and group for over fifteen years to treat my sinus condition. They sent me to sleep studies to test for sleep apnea (negative) but prescribed a CPAP regardless. They never addressed the root cause of my problem - a severly deviated septum, even after I brought up the topic of corrective surgery. After learning about Dr. Capo, I made an appointment. At my initial consultation, Dr. Capo asked if I had ever had an CAT scan of my sinuses. When I indicated 'No', Dr. Capo immediately performed a CAT scan in his office which confirmed a severely deviated septum, a complete blockage of my left nostril, as well as additional issues with my sinuses. Dr. Capo indicated that they could all be addressed in his office without the need for general anesthesia, and completely described the surgical process as well as what I could expect throughout the healing process. The bottom line is Dr. Capo immediately uncovered the root cause of my issue and scheduled corrective surgery to address my condition. The result was Dr. Capo performed in-office surgery which provided 100% relief, and after post-surgery healing I am now able to breathe freely for the first time in over 20 years. Dr. Capo successfully treated me within weeks for what my previous otolaryngology group and doctor failed to properly address for over 15 years. I would highly recommend Dr. Capo to anyone suffering from sinus issues.

Dr. Capo was a pleasure to work with and extremely informative throughout the process of fixing my deviated septum. Everyone I interacted with in both offices (Levittown and Old Brookville) was alway friendly and courteous. Dr. Capo's team provided me with detailed instructions for my pre-surgery tasks in order to make sure I was at ease, and I even got text messages checking on my well-being afterwards. Most importantly, I'm now breathing through my nose again!! Highly recommend.

Dr. Capo is amazing! He was able to get me what many other ENTs were not able to get me back. My SENSE OF SMELL! For that I am forever grateful and will certainly recommend him to all my friends and family in need of an ENT.

After not responding to multiple rounds of antibiotics/steroids for my chronic sinusitis, Dr.Capo performed a hybrid sinus surgery to open up my sinuses. I felt very relaxed and comfortable during the in-office procedure. The healing process was very fast and painless. With following all of the post-procedure care instructions, I was feeling back to ‘normal’ 2-3 weeks post surgery. I am finally relieved of the sinus pressure/headaches that I was experiencing for the past 7 months. I highly recommend Dr.Capo and his team at ENT associates.

I suffered with severe nasal congestion, loss of smell & taste for over 7 years (NOT related to COVID). I saw 2 ENTs on LI that totally misdiagnosed & treated me as if I was exaggerating the symptoms. Finally, I researched online and found Dr. Capo. On my initial visit they did a scan of my sinuses and diagnosed me with major polyps. Dr. Capo listened to all of my issues & concerns. He took the time to explain everything regarding my diagnosis & the nasal surgery I needed to correct the problem. I had balloon sinuplasty. Dr. Capo changed my life! My breathing, smell & taste have been completely restored. The procedure was so simple, no recovery time at all. It’s been several months and I feel great. Doctor Capo is a great doctor. He is a great diagnostician and has helped me get to optimum health over the years. He is also compassionate and really listens to whatever you have to say to him. I recommend him to everyone I know who an ENT doctor!!!!!

Dr. Capo was recommended to me & I can totally see why! He is absolutely amazing! As well as his son & entire staff. I suffered from multiple sinus infections and was on constant antibiotics. No dr really addressed the issue. I saw Dr. Capo he ran some tests & I scheduled an in office procedure with him. I was extremely nervous and doc & his team made me feel so comfortable and it couldn’t have gone better. Wish I had done this sooner! I don’t wake up feeling sick everyday with congestion and facial pressure or constant fatigue! My sinuses feel great and no sinus infections or antibiotics since the procedure! I was very nervous about the outcome of what would happen at my appt and he was extremely calming and reassuring. Dr. Capo is amazing. Both Dr. Capo Sr. and himself really take care of my ENT needs. I was suffering from Chronic sinusitis over the last 2 years and tonsil infections since I was a child. It was recommended that I undergo a procedure called balloon sinuplasty. It was the best decision I ever made. Dr. Capo not only talked me through the procedure, but was available in case of an emergency or if I had questions during the recovery period. Personally, the recovery period was uncomfortable, having the doctor on call to offer suggestions helped me tremendously. I can now sleep and breathe better. Look no further, this is the guy! Long story short… I had recurring sinusitis which was plaguing me for the better part of the year. After taking multiple courses of antibiotics (to no avail), I decided to see an ENT, and by the grace of God I ended up finding Dr. Capo. Dr. Capo performed a septoplasty and balloon sinuplasty on me in one hour flat. Being about 2 months removed from the procedure, I am healthy and can confidently say I am able to breath better than I have in my entire life. On par with his skills as an ENT is his dedication to communicating with his patients. After my procedure, Dr. Capo gave me his cell phone number and told me I was free to reach out about anything regarding the surgery. I was dumbfounded that any doctor would even offer that privilege, let alone follow through with it. Knowing he was at the other end of a text message whenever I had any questions or concerns about my recovery was absolutely invaluable. Even still, if I am dealing with any sinus issues he is more than willing to help guide me on the path to fixing it. Dr. Capo and the staff are great! I had the balloon procedure done & it has completely changed my life. I was having difficulty breathing through my nose & they procedure immediately fixed that. The staff was so kind & Dr. Capo explained everything he was doing and made sure I was comfortable. Highly recommend!

What a fantastic doctor and tremendous experience it was dealing with him and his staff. They are truly awesome professionals not just test readers like so many others. I had a sinus problem with bad dizziness for many years which was never diagnosed by about 15 ENTs before him. He absolutely nailed it and fixed it. If you go anywhere else, you’re making a mistake. I have seen Dr. Capo twice now and each time, he has been thorough, kind, and knowledgeable. He takes his time and does not rush me, and so he answers all my questions. I feel very fortunate to have found such a good doctor!

Dr. Capo is an excellent doctor who explains everything to you and doesn't rush you out of his office. He has a truly calming demeanor and I felt comfortable having nasal surgery in his office.

Dr Capo was phenomenal. This was my first visit to his office and after 10 minutes I felt like we’ve been friends for years. He was completely focused on helping me with my health issue and couldn’t do enough to help me get better. I had a great experience with Dr. Capo and the entire practice. I had balloon surgery in December for my sinuses. I no longer get headaches, congestion and chronic sinus infections. Dr Capo was kind and patient as he explained the procedure and the benefits. I highly recommend Dr. Capo and the practice.

I came to Doctor Capo's office after suffering from repeat sinus infections that lead me to being on antibiotics for 6 years continuously. I had a sinus surgery in 2014 that afterwards I had returned to my surgeon over a dozen times begging that the surgery was not a success and to consider a second surgery and was told I was crazy for requesting. Years later I was referred to Dr. Capo's office and my unique situation was immediately taken seriously and with passion. I was provided with the second procedure which I so desperately needed. Dr. Capo's team uses the latest technology commonly referred to as a balloon procedure. Since my procedure about two months ago I have not had to use any nasal sprays, nebulizers, and have not had any antibiotics! Not only has my quality of life been restored, but I'm saving tons of time, and hundreds of dollars a month in otc meds. The Doctor himself is nice but my experience with the reception staff has been truly awful and negligent. 5 months ago I took a sleep study test and I have never been able to get someone on the phone to actually speak with me and tell me what to do next or how to order a CPAP. I have called 10-15 times over the last 5 months and every time I'm told the 'specialist' isn't in and that someone will call me back. I finally gave up and asked them to email my results to me so I can find someone else.

I would definitely recommend Dr Capo to friends and family and I do! They are extremely thoughtful, thorough, professional and careful Great staff, awesome doctor!

Staff was unprofessional and dr. Capo provides inaccurate information to insurance company which denied payment of his recommended testing. Would never refer anyone to him or his office

Until I saw Dr Capo I just thought I was born without a sense of smell. Boy was I wrong, turned out I had chronic sinusitis and never knew!!! After an in office Balloon Sinuplasty I'm doing great. What a difference!!! I was nervous but Dr Capo talked me through the entire process easing my nerves. Now I'm smelling coffee, flowers etc. Dr Capo was wonderful and kind as well! His staff is always courteous and helpful. Would recommend.

Dr. Capo is a very warm and compassionate doctor. I felt comfortable with him and he took the time to explain everything to me and calmly answered all of my questions. He's one of the best doctors I have ever had. So thankful for him.

This doctor is very knowledgeable, takes his time, listened and made me feel very at ease. I have been o several ENTs and he diagnosed me when other couldnt. I am forever thankful. Other people on here commented on his staff- they werent all that bad in my opinion and the incredible quality of Dr Capo him self far and away outweighs anything bad about the staff

I will never recommend this Doctor I am so glad I ran. Its like being treated like trash . They ignore you , they dont care , they do what they want . And those General Patton, type women in the front who claim to be so nice really are horrible .
