Nice guy. Doesn't listen to details so I had to repeat the same info each appointment. As with all psychiatrists, he's limited to prescribing drugs for any and all problems. Seems unwilling to do or say anything except "Let's try this [drug]." I guess that's what all a psychiatrist does these days.

I learned the hard way: don’t take an effexor prescription if you are bipolar. And if you do, don’t let psychs try to tell you the consequences are all your fault.

Dr Barrett has been an excellent psychiatrist. He is warm personable and has a heart of service for the mentally disturbed.

Very nice man, listened to everything I said, had good advice. Will come back for sure!

Very caring and knowledgeable. I have been seeing Dr Barrett for 3.5 years and I believe he listens to me and has my best interests in mind.

Dr. Barrett has degrees in Psychiatry and Neurology from Oregon Health Sciences University. He has been a doctor for many years. He is competent and caring. He is known for his expertise in med management. If you are serious about getting well, Dr. Barrett can guide you and help you achieve success.

He was very professional. He got right to the point of the visit. If I did have questions, he would listen carefully, and answer my concerns. He has a upbeat and positive vibe.
