I cannot say enough good about Dr Balzano. In 1999 when my Mom was 80 years old, she was having pain across her back and through her rib cage. I took her to Venice Hosp emergency. They took her in immediately, did a heart cath and put her in the hospital within about an hour. He and Dr Dayo set her up for a bypass. She said she was 80 and probably wouldn’t live long anyway. Dr Dayo said “ you don’t know how long you are going to live!” We convinced her and she lived to be nearly 98. She got to see her granddaughter graduate, her grandson get married, and met her 2 great grandchildren, among many other things. Her heart was still strong even when she passed. She died of other causes. I thank both Dr. Balzano and Dr. Dayo for giving my mom (and her family) another lifetime. We are truly grateful! I cannot say enough good about Dr Balzano. I had a phone conference. Dr. Balzano was very easy to talk with. He is open to questions and my concerns. He answered with professional and understandable way. I would highly recommend him to others.

Dr. Balzano treats his patients like the days of old. spends the time needed for your care and has a Real interest not only in your medical needs but also cares about you personally. What a great physician. I actually enjoy going to my appointments. Dr. Balzano listens to his patients. I feel secure that he will take care of me. Dr. Balzano is a terrific doctor. He's thorough, takes everything into consideration and uses good judgment for each individual patient. We would strongly recommend him to anyone needing a cardiologist.

Steer CLEAR ! Dr. Balzano ordered a medication for me in ERROR, as I am allergic to it. My spouse picked it up at Walgreens not knowing it was prescribed by mistake. My cost was $5.24 and I asked his office to reduce my bill by that much to reimburse me for HIS MISTAKE. They refused - I sent two letters, one to the billing office and one to his office directly asking for a $5.24 credit due to the error. Both requests were denied. The only reason they offered was "it is the patient's responsibility to know what medications they are purchasing." Yesterday, I received in the mail a notification from a collection agency for the $5.24 amount. Very unprofessional, rude and huge potential for malpractice ! When I retired never thought about needing a cardiologist, but my primary doctor wanted me to see one. The rest is history, extremely happy that I went to see Dr Balzano, explained everything to me so I could understand why I was there, staff and Dr Balzano are the best, 2 ????. Thank you all.

Dr. Balzano was thoughtful, creative, and took the necessary time to explain his reasoning. We have been among his patients for about 6 years and hope to continue so.

Dr.Balzano is a a kind, knowledgeable , friendly, funny, brilliant doctor who truly CARES about his patients . He is reliable and does whatever is necessary to find the cause and cure of any medical concern! Our family would not even consider having any other cardiologist but him! I have been a patient of Dr. Balzano for about 6 years. He is extremely competent, compassionate, thorough, and one of my favorite Physicians. Several of my friends also see Dr. Balzano and are equally impressed. Your heart health is in great hands if you choose to use him.. He is very down to earth, pleasant, and spends the extra time with you during exams, consultation’s, and and follow up procedures. He’s a great Doctor and a GOOD MAN ! Period ! Dr balzano saved my life. I was having a massive heart attack and he was waiting for me in the er and took me immediately to the Cath lab. He has been taking care of me for ,6 yrs now.

I have been seeing Doctor Balzano for four years since we moved from Connecticut. I find him to be very professional and very informative. I recommend Him very highly.

Worst experience ever. Almost lost my leg and died after my heart cath. One would think that as a Cardiologist who performs surgeries would know not to close a femoral artery! Oh and an example of HIS bedside manner is walking to the ICU room curtain and proceed to tell you, "Wow, never had that happen in 30 years, sorry" and walk away! Needless to say, I was never seen nor treated post operatively either . No calls to find out if I was even alive. No thanks! Go to see Dr. Landis, Dr. Bermudez or Dr. Shoemaker, you'll have a better survival rate!

Dr.Balzano is a very caring physician. He takes the time to listen to you and addresses any problems in a professional manner.

Phone Visit. To the point with a dose of humor!!!

I had seen Dr. Balzano while in the hospital and this appointment was a follow up appointment to go over any test results that we needed follow up on and to schedule more tests if needed and to go over and manage my medication if necessary. Since I was very sick, I opted for a telemedicine visit. Just before he called I got sick and looked like death..Dr Balzano said that we just make it a phone ?? call since he knew what I looked like and to save me some dignity. I think he is just wonderful. That whole group is terrific and would recommend them to anyone who needs a Cardiologist.

Outstanding --- very good listener. Great sense of humor. Communicates very well, and explains thing in terms you can understand. Staff is great, friendly, cheerful every time I go in there. Would highly Dr Balzano to anyone looking for a cardiologist in the Venice area.

Lack of understanding with patient dr relationship. Does not go into depth on ones medical issues. Not sure if I would recommend to others....I know their are better car dos in Venice.
