This is the worst doctor appointment experience for me. I spent 2 hours to talk with him, but ı was able to talk only 10 min. He was so busy and couldnt spend time enough time. I was not comfortable because ı felt he wanted to see other patient as well. I had back pain , even he didnt check my back. Only took an x-ray and suggested physical theraphy. And for this 2 hours waiting time????

Best Doctor I've had 3 surgeries with Dr. Simon possibly another I trust him 100% he's the BEST!!!

Dr Simon is an Amazing Dr. I had back surgery. He sweet, caring, understanding. He is a people person. I recommend him to everyone!! If need it, go to Excel

Dr Simon is my life saver. I was battling with excruciating pain in my right hand all over from shoulder to the tip of my fingers. During my first visit to him, i was very impressed by him the way he explained to me the cause of my pain and a treatment he suggested. An immediate surgery he performed actually saved me from potential paralysis.I had herniated disc on level 6-7 causing a severe nerve pinch. He understood an urgency of my treatment and a whole spine orthopedic team works extremely hard to get approval from my insurance and perform a surgery way before my anticipated schedule. My surgery went absolutely normal and currently I’m recovering. I strongly suggest Dr. Simon for spine care need without any hesitation. I also would like to thank him from the bottom of my heart for performing such a wonderful operation without any complexity and wish him all the success saving patients life and his personal endeavors. I would highly recommend Dr. Simon. He made me feel comfortable as a patient. He listened to my concerns with what I was going through with my neck. He answered my questions. He did not rush me. Dr Simon was polite and courteous. He was knowledgeable and informative. I would recommend him and his office.

I saw Dr. Simon with some nerve issues resulting in numbness. He was efficient in his review and patient in explaining what was happening, what options were available, and the impact and effect of the various options. I felt that he took the time to respond to my questions and I am satisfied that I am much better informed about how to handle my situation because of his experience.

I have received care for lower back pain, the treatment I have received is professional and compassionate care. I will highly recommend Dr Simon.

Everything in my life was pretty awful due to the pain I was going through. Dr. Simon did his part to make sure I had taken the steps necessary before discussing surgery, as in going to physical therapy, having an MRI and then a spinal injection. I ended up having surgery and am really glad that I did. I sleep much better now at night and life in general is better. I can’t recommend him enough and will pass his name on by word of mouth if this topic comes up in discussion. Truly a great Doctor. I have been seeing Dr. Simon for 3 years now, for a terrible incident I was involved in. He has made a horrible situation bearable with his expertise, kindness and caring way.

Dr. Simon explains medical issues and treatment thoroughly with understanding, empathy and honesty. He did my cervical spine fusion 2 years ago and with that horrible pain gone my the quality of life improved quickly. Each follow-up has consistently proven that I am in the right hands, at the right medical office.

Dr. Josef Simon rebuilt my neck which was injured in battle in Iraq in 2006. The possibility of paralysis kept other surgeons including the VA from attempting. Fifteen years of pain are about to end with therapy during this recovery period. The whole team at Mt. Auburn Hospital showed great compassion and professionalism. Dr Simon and his staff were attentive, answered all questions and seemed very competent. A great first impression.

He is listens and then explains things to you. He is very efficient in his explanations. I always feel confident leaving with a clear understanding of what is going on with my issues . He is the best doctor/surgeon. I am so glad I selected him as my physician. He is a kind, extremely competent surgeon. I always feel I am in the best hands. I feel he really cares about me as his patient and that makes me feels very confident.

Yes without reservation : My visit with Dr. Simon was a two way communication ! I am a 73 year old white male with a complex history of Orthopedic and Internal ailments , coupled with 27 surgeries of which 2/3 are orthopedic . Last most recent with Dr. Czarnecki . I came to Dr. Simon because I trust Excel and their Physicians : When I noticed the had a back and neck Doctor : Well I decided I did not want to treat pain and go for the root cause . Dr. Simon took some X-rays . We had a chat I asked him what he thought along with what I felt I would like to do conventionally and if all had failed we would discuss surgery as an end all approach . ABSOULTLY , INFACT TO ANYBODY AND NOT JUST FAMILY. Dr Simon is one of the best doctors that I have had over my entire life . HE made a major problem seam like it could be resolved and left it up to me . I would recommend DR SIMON TO ANYONE. THERE SHOULD BE MORE DOCTORS LIKE HIM

Dr. Simon is the best Orthopaedic Surgen and an amazing people person. He explains everything very clearly and gives you the opportunity to express yourself. I had back surgery in 2018 and it was a success.

Doctor Simon is an excellent doctor. I recently had back surgery ( laminoscopy and fusion). He was very supportive, understanding and informative. I felt that I was in good hands. His staff answered all my questions and he contacted me on several occasions reassuring me prior to the surgery. The surgery itself was immediately sucessful and my scitatic was pain was relieved. I don't know where to begin talking about Dr. Simon. He has performed 2 different surgeries on me in the last two years. He has an unbelievable way about him with his bed side manner. He takes the time to explain the process and answer any questions you may have. I have never felt rushed while meeting with Dr. Simon and I have complete confidence in him. I would highly recommend him to family and friends!

I had would and have recommended Dr. Simon to many people. I had a cervical disc removed and the care I received was above anything I would have expected.
