Has anyone ever had an issue with him touching them inappropriately?

Friendly but not a big talker. He's also very quick. If you're looking for a doctor who takes time that is not my experience.

If I could give a 0 I would. This place is a complete joke! My father has been a patient for 7 months. The office staff is horrible. They are rude and very unprofessional. After waiting for an hour my father asked the front desk lady how much longer since he had an appointment, she rudely replied “I don’t know” for working there and not knowing what’s going on at your place of work is not acceptable. If you do not know, you ask. The nurse that started the IV was rude and had an attitude When my father asked how long would it be. She was very bothered by the question. He can hear the nurses speaking politely to others. I guess they pick and choose who they want to be nice to. The dr is just as bad. He does not take the time to explain anything. Not thorough at all. Doesn’t explain the process. During his last visit the dr did not allow for the anesthesia to be in full effect. A month ago, He was poked four times and he felt them all. Patient for over 20 years. He has helped me through six surgeries. A honest person and will answer questions if you ask. He has been a life saver for many people who suffers.

Dr Reyes and his staff are the worst. As a new patient we had extreme difficulty getting someone to return calls for an appointment. First visit with Dr Reyes was rushed and told he’d see what our insurance would pay for. Later received call for MRI. Tried for 3 weeks to get a sedative for MRI. No return calls and later told RX had been sent - but never had been. Returned to office for MRI results. Dr not prepared and rude. We tried to explain our difficulty with his staff and he responded there was no problem with his staff and he did not want to see us. We asked for results of MRI and he rudely said he had no report (which he actually did). With his attitude there is no question as to why his staff has no customer service skills. I would NOT recommend this doctor or office to anyone!

I've been going to Interventional Pain Specialists in Pasadena, TX for several years now. Earlier this year they charged for an out-of-network visit when the doctor I saw was in-network, and the last time I went in I saw Dr. Reyes without knowing they had switched the doctor and was again charged out-of-network charges. Dr. Reyes did not renew his agreement with my insurance and they knew this at the time of my visit but let him see me anyway. It took a month for the office staff to call me back about the incorrect charges and now they're refusing to give me a refund. Insurance is aware of the situation and said not to go back.

This place is a joke. I been under pain management care for 20 years and this place is by far the worse in staff and doctors. He closed two locations and constantly have turnover with staff. Poor front desk and nursing staff with rude attitudes. Dr. Reyes is great, but he DEFINITELY needs new staff!!

Dr Reyes and Dr Hatmaker are very thorough. They inquire about you present health, if you have any changes,since your last appointment etc. That is excellent to keep up with your current conditions and whether your current treatment is in line with your health conditions. Their staff is very cordial and very efficient. The largest negative I have is,contacting them by phone. Especially when dealing with insurance questions etc. Usually you have to leaves a message and they don't get back with you. Sometimes this can be critical when requesting insurance referrals and approvals. Dr Reyes and Dr Hatmaker are very thorough. The doctors listen!

I have been seeing Dr. Reyes for about 2 years now. He has helped me with my back pain by trying different treatments and medications. Dr. Reyes is very caring and treats his patience with respect. He doesn't make you feel like you are whining about your pain and takes you seriously.

Reyes was never prepared for my visit. He obviously had not read my chart until he was in the exam room. Rushed his way through the visit. His PA was much more dedicated to my relief and to alternative options than Reyes.

Been calling for 2 weeks for another appointment with no results. Finally talked to a person and she said she would leave a note to call me and set an appointment a week later no calls. Dr. Reyes cost me over 13k/yr. by having an office staff fill out myy disability papers which had absolutely the WRONG INFO. staff member had never met me, asked me questions requarding my diagnosis, my disabilities or debilitati g activities. And guess who SIGNED THE FALSE DOCUMENT? Thats righr, DR. REYES HIMSELF!!!!!! Is this LEGAL? I don't think so! Dr. Reyes would not correct the document. And then had the nerve to Dismiss me as his patient, stating my insurance would no longer cover his services! Imagine that! Well I checked with my insurance co. and surprise surprise, one big LIE. If i could give a 0 i totally would. Staff and doctor are so rude!! My father needed a doctor immediately for a refill and he denied my father with no explanation all he said was " i dont want to see him " with out even knowing my father. His staff also ignored all my calls and gave a huge attitude. I DONT recommend at all.

I have been going to Dr Reyes for over a yr. He has tried different procedures to no avail but, has also left me feeling like I was just there for pills. My CT finally showed bulging disc in same area as surgery prior yr. Repeated surgery and I'm in more pain but afraid to return. It's a shame PAIN specialist can't be more understanding

Fantastic. I am being treated for lower back pain, and I do shots every couple of years. Dr. Reyes was the one, along with my back doctor, to keep to lower may pain.

Dont ever go see this shmuck. They are horrible i get that your staff can over book you but why should you have to wait for 2 hours? Then some stupid kid tried to come sell my mom a back brace and a tens unit fancy name for a musical stimulator you jackass. Both of those he didn't know anything about ,I can buy those at the mall or offline. And Dr. Jose Reyes thinks hes god because he can give out 10mg hydrocodone well hes not. I has ONE visit with Dr. Jose Reyes, he prescribed some pills and patches. I am in a wheelchair and it's been hard to get transportation arrangements. I had to reschedule my appointment and was given the wrong date. They were unable to book me in that day. I was told by the receptionist to come back the following week. I had a bad feeling and decided to call to confirm my appointment. I was told my appointment was drop!!!! There was no reason just that I was dropped and was sent a letter. I had just checked my mail and there was no letter. I was told I needed to speak to the Office Manager and of course she was not there. I had to call back and when I finally got a hold of the office manager she told me that Dr. Reyes would not continue seeing me!!! It would have been nice to get a courtesy call sending me a letter when my appointment was scheduled within the week is not very professional!!!! I am glad I called before making another trip to his office. Why he dropped me after only one visit, i have not clue. His staff is not very organized!!! DO NOT GO TO HIM!!!!!! My husband sees Dr Reyes and he has always helped him. All good!

He's amazing. People say that his staff is rude, they're not. They're very busy and they are professional. Once you get to know thwm, they loosen up and will joke and laugh with you. Dr. Reyes is wonderful!! He helped me with getting me to a wonderful surgeon after the steroid injections stopped working for my neck and back. You might have to wait to see him but he is totally worth it and he cares.

Dr Reyes is a very kind and professional doctor but his staff is rude, incompetent, absolutely no people skills, and there billing system is horrible at best. My wife was verbally threatened that they would stop filling her med pump over a balance due of $250 after we have literally spent about $50,000 dollars with them.
