Dr. Jose Jorge Pozo

Very strange guy. Was late to appointment. Then rambled on a couple times about himself with incomplete sentences. Then claimed I almost broke his fingers during a squeeze test (not even close). Then scheduled a brain scan for a neck/nerve impingement. I canceled further appointments.

he has given me several epidurals but they only work for a while and getting appts to take to long and you have to pay upfront what ins doesn't pay. Which is very hard when you don't have that much in your bank account till your next SS check. Sometimes it's to much since he is out of my district. But I do like him he does take time with you.

Dr. Pozo has always treated me with respect and professionalism for the 10 years he’s treated me. My nerve studies are always spot on and with the doctor’s help I’ve weaned off of some meds. I highly recommend him.

Was referred by spine surgeon to rule out other possible causes. Dr Pozo came into exam room, I told him what was going on and he told me to get out, refusing to examine me. I’m a nurse and as a healthcare professional this was completely unacceptable. I’ve never been more disgusted with the complete unprofessionalism. I give zero stars. I was having a EEG and the doctor fell off the stool trying to sit,and I'm supposed to be comfortable with that, and the man doesn't TALK ,the office is nasty, people use a the bathroom bathroom and then just put the key back on the counter,,DON'T GO TO HIM

I called to find out if their accepting new patients and because I was just involved in a car accident the girl who answered the phone was very dismissive. Smh. Do better.

Had a CT Scan with contrast. He told me I had a cyst in my right skull. I asked him if it could be bone from a previous surgery. He shouted no it's a cyst. He told me I had dementia. I went to another neurologist for a second opinion. It was not a cyst but was from my previous surgery. I also don't have dementia. They also billed the wrong insurance. Do not go to this doctor. The doctor was very rude and disrespectful. He walked out on my appointment because my boyfriend said something to me in the room and he felt like we are not supposed to talk. The second he walked into the room he was being rude. Don't waste your time like I did. My girlfriend has been having terrible headaches. After being advised to see a specialist, we discovered Dr. Pozes office. The first moment he walked in we greeted him with a good morning, and he sat and waited for another greeting that included "Doctor" in it. While waitingg, my girlfriend was listening to an online lecture from school to hear pertinent information in regards to her upcoming test. When Dr. Poze came in, he would not start until the phone was out of her hand. She then gave me the phone, and when I asked if she emailed her professor, he threatened to cancel the appointment if we continued talking. Mind you, I'm right next to her and we're adults. We weren't being loud or obnoxious, just passing on information. The visit went on, and I told my girlfriend that her test would be starting now. Dr. Pozo is very unprofessional, as well as the office stuff, he was too busy to help a patient, that was unable to get to his office not because her will but because the transport agency didn’t bring the right car since the patient is on a wheelchair. Awesome Doctor! Caring dedicated and is not in a rush. Very laid back and understanding. Takes time to make sure you totally understand everything before you leave.
