Dr. Matus is amazing. He makes it a personal mission to figure out what's wrong and to help with recovery.

Dr Matus is the best our family has seen him for years ,my heart is broken ,that he is no longer practicing in office, he is the best kindest man you will ever meet !!!! We love you Dr Matus and your dearly missed in Sherman

This is more towards his staff/group than Dr Matus. When I was able to see him he was great. After never receiving a call on the appointment date I was switched to another doctor abruptly. In the middle of covid despite having been going to Dr Matus by phone and appointment for years was told I needed to come in physically. Mind you I have immune system and mega lung problems. then they proceeded to drop me because I was too nervous and rescheduled 2 times. Mind you I'm also agoraphobic and have muscle/mobility issues, neuropathy, narcolepsy and a lot of others. I have now been without meds for over a year because they refuse to take an appointment from me and are the only neurologists for miles .

Dr. Matus is the best Dr. I have seen other than my primary. I love and appreciate him.

Dr. Matus is the best! Always available and willing to help. He is very caring and compassionate. Would recommend him as an excellent Neurologist to anyone.

He was able to help understand what was happening in my brain. now we have a plan to improve the situation. The waiting room time was more than i expected but he was worth waiting on.

Dr Matuse listens to you and bases his exam on what you have told him. I have never felt dismissed nor have I ever been treated as just another uninformed patient. He was worked to get my migraines under control and is easy to access through the patient portal should I need anything between appointments.

I absolutely love Dr. Matus! He has saved my life more than once. He truly listens to me. I couldn't have a better doctor for my rare disease.

I’ve been a patient of his for nearly 16 years. He’s truly a diamond in the rough. He’s a genuine person. He takes his time, listens to you, educates, and does a thorough exam. They don’t make doctors like this anymore. It’ll be a sad day when he retires but well deserved!

Dr Mary’s is awesome. He is very compassionate about your individual case. After going to several Dr. dr Barth Sundaram referred me to Dr Matus. Dr. Matus is awesome. I hate that I was told he was leaving the practice today. It will be hard to have his shoes filled.

I have been a patient of Dr. Matus for several years. I owe my life and quality of life to him and his expertise. He has taken me through cancer, MS, trying to figure out work and life balance, and continuing to be able to function and enjoy my life as much as possible. Dr. Matus listens and really cares. He spends quality time with me every single visit, and when he calls me on the phone. He has never once made me feel that he is too busy for me or my health. I love him like family and I'm so blessed that he is my doctor.

He is honest and listens intently. I was so happy to find a good doctor like him and who didn’t want to just prescribe pain killers for my back. Instead of passive drugs, he finds solutions.

Dr. Matus is the absolute best Neurologist and Doctor in Texoma!! After becoming disabled, I moved up to Texoma from the DFW Metroplex so I could be closer to my family for care. My healthcare requires 3 different specialists. Since Texoma is a much smaller area than Dallas, I assumed that I wouldn't find any good doctors in Texoma vs. Dallas. I found myself driving back and forth from Texoma to Dallas and it was wearing me out and was a horrible inconvenience. My niece knew Dr. Matus and encouraged me to make an appointment and give him a chance. I did, it was one of the BEST decision ever! After multiple Neurologist over the years, Dr. Matus by far is the absolute best Neurologist! Dr. Matus and his nurse are a God sent!! I have multiple health issues and was at the point that I was becoming hopeless. I'm so thankful for Dr. Matus. Dr. Matus will do all he can to ensure that you get the best care. He's extremely smart and well educated in Neurology. I'm so grateful for this man, he has increased the quality of my life and as far as I'm concern, he is the by far the very best! Dr Matus ranks up there with the best of doctors, as a doctor should be - - caring, kind, curious, good listener. He discovered an unusual neurological condition in my daughter which the other "big guys" could not figure out, and had rudely dismissed. The office staff is not helpful, but this doctor is a rare jewel.

He took extra time to go over MRI and explain exactly what was going with my brain disease. He has always been so timely in returning my phone calls when I've needed assistance.

I love him as a doctor. He patient with you. He allow to talk to him. And he never act like he is on a the clock. This is the best doctor ever. My only complaint is scheduling. I have several no shows when I made all my appointments. And have showed proff of it because must sign a paper showing I was there. And they still refuse to remove the no show fee. Other than that it’s a great place.

Dr Matus spends time with us. He doesn't rush, rather, listens to our needs and concerns, and then clearly explains his diagnosis. He draws a picture so we get a better understanding of it. He is comical and friendly. He gets to know YOU! You'll spend a bit more time in the waiting room, but how can you get upset knowing that it's because he's spending time with others the way he spends time with you. If you're looking for a good neurologist, well you just found a GREAT one!
