I went to Dr De La Torre because of leg pain. I had never gone to a pain specialist but was at my wit's end. He very quickly, and correctly, diagnosed my problem and recommended a treatment option. It was very easy to get in to see him, and his team were quick to get me scheduled for my in-office procedure. The procedure (steroid shots in my back) went very well - no wait time, very professionally handled. I felt better immediately. I am one week post procedure and my pain has gone from an 8 to zero - I have no pain. It's the first time in two years I have been pain free. I highly recommend him and his staff.

I was referred to Dr. De La Torre by a neurologist at USF Health after over 10 years of suffering from disabling headaches from a rare brain disorder with no cure. I had tried every headache and migraine treatment and medication on the market. They stopped being effective. I would also have headaches that lasted over a month long and brought me to the ER. Since seeing the doctor and following his help of pain management, my head pain has has improved, I can function again and haven’t been to the ER in months. The doctor is patient, kind, knowledgeable, and empathetic. He is helping me get my life back!

The dr and staff from start to finish is amazing. Wish all my drs were as kind, informative and helpful.

Highly recommend this practice. Dr. De La Torre is always knowledgeable, kind and thorough. He takes time to ensure his patients understand their options and don’t leave with unanswered questions. He genuinely cares about people on their path to a pain free life and will do what it takes to get them there. The staff is friendly and the facility is clean and inviting. 10/10 recommend.

I've been suffering with back pain and have had 4 back surgeries. I was referred to Dr De la Torre to complete and EMG and later a epidural shot in my lower back. I have never been so disappointed with an interaction with a Doctor in all the years ive been seeing Doctors. He came in the room, never introduced himself and didnt care to find out what was going on with me and why I was there to see him. I was trying to explain why I was there but felt ignored the entire few minutes that he was in the room. He completed the 2nd part of the EMG without any explanation. When I left his office I felt awful and helpless. I went to him because of his reviews and I cannot understand how he has good ratings. I wasnt looking for him to take extra time with me I just wanted the few mins he spent to show he cared and how he could help in relieving my pain. I rarely write reviews and would hate for anyone else walk out feeling the way Dr de la Torre made me feel when I left his office.

Dr Delatorre’s compassion towards your well being and help to keep you a functional patient with less pain is fantastic

If you’re looking for a pain management doctor who has compassion and actually cares about his patients as family not just a patient. If you’re looking for someone who listens then I would highly recommend Dr.De la torre. Thanks again Dr.De la torre!

Worst healthcare provider office in the country I have ever visited. While the Dr. Jose de la Torre is a nice person, the office staff is not professional and very inefficient. After appointments were confirmed three times, once there, I had to leave the office without being treated because they had not taken the time to communicate with me and cancel my appointments. Awful staff!

Dr Del A Torre and all of his staff members are very helpful and extremely knowledgeable. I highly recommend Dr Del A Torre and his office.

I have been a patient of Dr. De La Torre for several years with my back issues. He ha been very successful with the decisions he has made for my permenant injury.

I'm not prone to writing reviews - but my experience at this office was so terrible that I felt the need to warn others. I have extreme back pain and Dr. de la Torre provided me with a referral to have an MRI done - my insurance company denied the procedure since Dr. de la Torrre did not provide sufficient information for the insurance company to determine that the procedure was "medically necessary" - it took Dr. de la Torre almost a month and numerous phone calls from myself to get the information to the insurance company so that we could get the procedure approved. Once I had the procidure approved and performed - I scheduled a follow-up visit with Dr. de la Torre to review those results so we could come up with an appropriate action plan for treatment of my issues... my appointment was for 1:15 - I arrived early as was escorted to a patient room at 1:05 - at 2:00pm after no one even acknowledging that I had been in the room for 55 minutes - I left and will NEVER visit this office

I have never walked out of an office before. It takes a LOT for me to complain and the fact that I’m posting it means it truly was something horrible. Your visits will be over 2 hours and he forgot to call me last time. He did not examine me my last visit and I have a possible broken tailbone. He ordered an extra MRI and when I expressed my concern, his reply was that it didn’t hurt my body. He forgot to order an MRI of my neck so now I have to go back and pay more! Again, no apologies.

I have been seeing Dr. De La Torre since February 2018 after being referred to him by a medical professional due to car accident and previous pain. He has suggested several procedures that other doctors did not to assist with my pain. He takes the time to listen to my questions and concerns. His staff is always available to answer my questions and is very pleasant. I would recommend Dr. Del La Torre to others who are looking for pain doctor.

I've been going to Dr De La Torre since July of this year. I left a different pain management because I thought he became uncaring. Dr. De La Torre cares and empathizes with your condition. He takes all of the time that is necessary. I'd recommend to anyone! His staff is extremely caring, efficient and helpful. He has a extremely busy practice since the change in the opioid laws in FL, but his office has adapted and become more efficient with that matter. I'm most grateful to him.

Dr de la torre is quite possibly the best doctor ive had the pleasure of seeing. He is incredibly kind, patient, and understanding. He treats patients with respect and personal care. He accomadates my schedule, whenever feasible. He engages with my son, who has an autism diagnosis, and never fails to inquire about his welfare, whenever i dont bring him to my appointments.

Dr de la Torres is excellent. He has a very busy practice but spends the time to make sure your questions are answered. More importantly he works to make sure your pain is controllable and you are comfortable. He is a wonderful physician and has a great bedside manner. His staff is amazing. I highly recommend him!

I had suffered for many years with severe back pain. I had been treated by many specialists around the country including another in the Wesley Chapel area, none of whom were able to provide me with relief. A retired physician recommended Dr De La Torre to me and shared that he himself was a satisfied former patient. I thought to myself, that’s it! Go to the doctor that other doctors go to. Within two days my pain had relaxed, within a week the pain disappeared. He is an amazing doctor!

He customizes my treatment as my condition evolves and also has given my shots in my shoulder so I can get back to my active lifestyle. I just can’t tell you how much appreciation both my wife and I have for this office. Not only is the staff amazingly helpful and compassionate, Dr De La Torre treats us with such respect and takes the time to ensure he listens and addresses every problem or issue we may have. I don’t have any other doctor that has every took his or her time to get to know me , normally they just rush in give you a 30 sec diagnosis and walk out. If you need a professional, caring dr this is the one!!

I've gone to Dr. De La Torre around 9 years. He is not in my insurance network but I like him so much I pay the $70 our of network cost and drive an hour each way to his office! He has prescribed physical therapy, shots, burning nerves and medication. I have done each recommendation and each has helped. That's what most important! He has a great personality and gives the patient all the time and attention they want or need. I recommend him enthusiastically! His staff is exceptional!

Extremely knowledgeable, compassionate and caring. Great personality, makes you feel at ease.

This "Doctor" will make you come in just so he can charge you or your insurance just to refill your medicine. He isn't checking up on you he's running a racket in order to force you to come in just so he can bill you because he knows you must have to have a refill without getting sick. This man has no business being a doctor I agree with the certified drug dealer comment. "READ THE SIGN WHEN YOU WALK IN, PAYMENT FIRST" He doesn't care about your wellbeing, he only cares about your money.

I began seeing the Dr several months ago and he made it a point to listen to what I felt and any ideas I had. Him and the staff are very friendly and they make you feel relaxed but they even recognize you and remember little things about your life that make you feel like they actually care. I'm not one to write reviews but he deserves it. I would recommend Dr De La Torre any time

Does not know what he is doing in regards to treating anyone with anytype of drug issue. Failed to safely taper me off medicine. He will cut you off as well if you can't provide payment up front. Meaning he doesn't care about your wellbeing he'll get you hooked on something until you can't pay and then leaves you high and dry. He's nothing but a certified drug dealer. Any real doctor would safely taper you off a medicine in an appropriate manner no matter what the conditions are. Stay away!

I've known Dr de la Torre for over 10 years professionally in the medical field and also personally as a patient & my husband as a patient. His compassion to help & also educate on the issue at hand is why I find him to be a great physician. His staff is also a great asset to his practice. They have bent over backwards to help get things done with certain insurance matters. It's always nice to know everyone at the office is there to help in every way.

Wait time exceeds 2 hours EVERY visit

I've been a patient of Dr. Jose De La Torre for over 2 years now and couldn't be happier. The Dr has always been very helpful and I've never felt rushed like with other Dr's. I will also never forget hiw he helped me out when I was having problems with my insurance. The staff (Karen, Jordan, and others) are truly incredible and and always willing to help in any way possible. Whether it be my crazy schedule and changing my appointments or dealing with my less than stellar medical insurance.

I have been going to him for about 5 years now . He look to find the cause of the pain. He is very friendly and thoughtful. He has given me shots in my back and shoulder. He spend with you not in a rush .

I've been seeing Dr. DeLaTorre for over 5 years now. He is an incredible doctor, very knowledgeable and caring. He takes the time needed to evaluate the best course of action for you as an individual. He's always update on new technology and medications. He's facilitaty is state of the art. The staff are warm and comforting. I adore those girls. If your looking for a great doctor and staff you've came to the right place. Like are like family.

Dr DeLaTorre has been a trustworthy and outstanding doctor. When i first became a patient over 5years ago I was a referral my doctor at the time was going back to emergency care do to family needs, i was skeptical like all patients changing doctors, after all i had 11 broken bones, medical rods in my legs and RSD. Dr DelLaTorre and his staff are amazing the time he took with me understanding each issue and designing a plan specific to my needs. The girls in the office i just adore! Like Family!

I've been a patient of his for over 4 yrs now. He is a very caring, kind, compassionate doctor, who knows what hes doing which is hard to find these days. He also has a sense of humor which is refreshing. The office staff is wonderful. They treat me like family every time I go in there. The office is always clean and inviting. I've had many procedures done there. 6 injections in my back, 3 in the knee and a temp spinal cord stimulator. All done with the upmost professionalism. I highly recommend

I have been a patient of Dr. De La Torre for over 3 years due to chronic neck problems. He & his staff have been an absolute blessing in my life. He is not only my dr. but I also consider him a very good friend! Dr. D. truly cares about his patients & getting them as pain free as possible, & strives to make quality of life better. My last visit I heard a lady telling him how much better she was since coming to him, & he replied "I'm so glad, that's why I do what I do!"

I have been his patient for 5 years. He has been a great help to me living as pain free as possible. He has also. Has very good staff. Stopped me from getting surgery that was not needed. One Doctor said I needed surgery for a pinched nerve. Was not it was aurthoritics.

I am a Registered Nurse with 30 years experience and a patient of Dr. De Latorre's for over 6 years. My primary doctor highly recommended him. Dr. De Latorre put together a plan of care which included medications as well as surgical interventions. I receive injections in my spine 1-2 times per year and I am impressed with his skill and the skills of his Nurse Anesthetist. They are both compassionate with great bedside manner.His office staff is fantastic. I trust Dr De Latorre with my life.

My mother is a patient of Dr.De La Torre for many years and each and every time Dr. and his staff have been great for mom. Dr. De La Torre give my mother the attention and care she needs. His staff makes me and mom feel welcome. They have never made us feel nothing but welcome. The office is clean and nice. Dr. Jose thank you so much for taking good care of my mother

I am an ex professional athelete of 16 years and have had a total of 16 surgeries. The office is very clean from front to ba to back and cannot say enough of the staff and Dr himself. They have changed my quality of life more than they will ever know. I know what it feels like from being hearded in like cattle just for the Dr to pad his pockets and this office in know way does this. I have been a patient of Dr. De La Torre since he began his practice several years ago. I have a progressive illness with no cure that leaves me in constant pain. Dr. De La Torre is compassionate in addition to his professional manner and vast medical knowledge. He is always willing to take a few minutes to talk to me about a concern I might have. I have spoken with other patients I've gotten to know and each person I've met feels the same way about Dr. De La Torre.

I have been seeing Dr. De La Torre for several years. He has been a godsend, with his compassion and professionalism. I would recommend him to anyone with chronic pain issues.

I was in a lot of pain from multiple bulging and herneated discs as well as nerve damage. After a few procedures and pain mainagement I have gain back a lot of my mobility. I am still in some pain but no where near the amount I was in before I saw Dr. Del La Torre. I thank him and his wonderful staff for all the help they have give to me to get my life back on track and I would recommentd them to anyone else who is in back pain or any other sports injury.

I’m not a person that gives a lot of feedback about products and services but I decided today to change that outlook and provide an honest analysis of Dr. Jose De La Torre and his office New Tampa Interventional Pain and Sports Medicine. Waiting time extremely long. One hour every time. He never read my chart so I had to inform him of my issues. He even got the arm wrong. The problem was with my right arm ...not the left. I think he is just after insurance money. Do not use this docto
