Jorge Dionisio Reyes

Dr. Reyes is a wonderful doctor and was part of my daughter’s liver transplant team when he was in Pittsburgh in 2003. My daughter Caroline is on few meds and I attribute this too his vast knowledge and experience.

Dr. Reyes proceeded my surgery as a living donor for liver transplant. He was very humanized and understandable to my need. I felt so fortunate that he was able to follow up with my baby as well at Seattle children's. He is like an angel for or family.

Dr. Reyes was the only doctor to give hope to a cure for my young son. He was willing to transplant my son, he took it as a personal challenge, visitted with him even on Sundays, attended all of the transplant clinics and still enjoys hearing from my son years after his successful transplant. A real doctor who encourages hope and works hard to make it happen. He is our hero!

Dr. Reyes was my son's Liver Transplant doctor. There was never a time when I didn't believe my son was receiving the best possible care the transplant team could provide.Dr. Reyes is very good with taking time with parents to explain exactly what was going on with their children - whether or not the news was good, bad, or general. He is often around when he's not on service and tends to keep a tab on his patients - even when he's away. Overall, it leaves a parent feeling confident in Dr. Reyes and the care his team provides under his leadership.I absolutely recommend him to any parent who is faced with catastrophic illness requiring transplantation of any abdominal organ. Dr. Reyes is the best!!!!
