Mr. Jordan Christopher Smallwood

I am so sad that Dr. Smallwood won’t be my sons allergist anymore. He is truly an outstanding doctor. I NEVER felt rushed. I always felt like he cared and that he was really listening to me. Dr. Smallwood is the epitome of excellent care.

My daughter has had a telehealth consultation and an in-person follow up visit with Dr. Smallwood so far. He was truly excellent with explaining to her what was going to happen at the visit and asking her questions. A lot of times a doctor will direct all questions to the parent and rarely communicate with the actual patient. However, Dr. Smallwood did not do this. He has the best bedside manner I have ever seen in a pediatric doctor! I rarely ever leave reviews but felt that it was necessary to give credit where credit was due! My son had a consultation with Dr. Smallwood today. From the beginning I felt like I was being heard and that Dr. Smallwood was taking the best approach for my son and my family. He has a very good bedside manner and explains things in a way that made them easy for even my teenage son to understand. He also made my son a part of the conversation, whereas usually he's just a spectator in his appointments. The best doctor, I like the way he treat us and gives his time ,no rush at all ,he know how to treat the kids and them parents ,he realy know his job !

Very thorough, compassionate and patient physician. He really involved my son, 11 year old, in the conversation since it was about his health and body. That really made him feel responsible and got him to be involved in his treatment plan and process. Dr. Smallwood did not push unnecessary medications and made sure that we were all on the same page with my son's maintenance plan to control his allergies and asthma. Very disappointed I drive all the way to Melbourne and we seen a nurse practitioner. She had an attitude and didn't act like she wanted to help us. Very disappointed with her bed side manor.

Dr. Smallwood is amazing! He takes time to explain everything we need to know and shows care for his patients. I highly recommend him !

After about a year of 3 or 4 allergy meds a nebulizer with 2 or 3 other meds steroids etc. We asked our doctor to see an allergist. Nothing was working. Dr. Smallwood diagnosed our non verbal autistic 3 year old with acid reflux. He is a different child. Dr. Smallwood is patient,attentive, and takes time to explain everything. If you need an allergist for your child he is who you need to see!!! Dr. Smallwood was awesome! Very thorough, took his time, did not feel rushed at all. He listened to all our questions and answered them honestly and to the best of his ability. Constantly calling and will not stop. I have no business with this hospital/Dr and they do not need to be calling. Neither do I have the money to donate to them. My husband put a funny recorded message on our answering machine and they keep calling to hear it. Very unprofessional and annoying! As soon as they hang up they call right back with laughing in the background. This is distracting as a at home Mom and homeschooling teacher. Constantly calling and will not stop. Unbelievably awesome level of service and level of care... this doctor surpassed my every expectation as he went above and beyond to help us with our 10 month old. Even if you have to wait to get an appointment with Dr Smallwood, do it... It's worth it...since you won't find this type of Doctor anywhere in Orlando

Dr. Smallwood is an amazing doctor! He addressed my 7 year old son first when he walked in the room, explained everything they were going to do to him in terms he could understand, and included him in any conversations we had regarding his allergies. Dr. Smallwood took a thorough history and sat with us for an hour to educate us more on my son's food and environmental allergies. The office staff was great, and were very helpful in getting my son's records sent over from another lab. Amazing all around! Our favorite doctor, we wish he could treat the whole family! Well manered and takes his time, he has healed my daughters skin & helped a great deal with her asthma and allergies! Highly recommended!
