Dr is nice and good but hard to get hold of her, assistance never call us back, no listening, no helpful at all.

My mom is 85 and in decent health other than dementia. Dr Hogaard is so amazing with her. She is very conscientious about not over prescribing meds and takes time to listen and help resolve any concerns we may have. We went to several other doctors and while the others were good I am extremely happy with the level of care she gives to my Mom and that is important to me. This Doc is a no frills Doc and truly cares about her patients. We love her. ??

At first my wife liked Joni. She would listen and take the necessary steps to address the issues my wife had. Later on down the road, Joni became less compassionate and less attentive to the point where she had made my wife upset on multiple occasions. When my wife needed additional care, Joni made it abundantly clear she was no longer interested in helping my wife. Her correspondence became less and less as well as her demeanor declined and showed no integrity in the care she gave. Whether it is a reflection of Joni's care or maybe a personality flaw in her assistant, my wife was unable to achieve a positive experience even when requesting help through the assistant themselves. We will no longer be seeking services from Joni or her staff as they have no passion in helping others. I would advise being cautious when seeking healthcare through this doctor's office. Dr. Hougaard and Alex are two of the nicest healthcare professionals I know! Every time I have come in for a visit, they have greeted me kindly, and with a smile on their face. After I tell them why I am visiting, they both empathize with me, and do their best to help me feel better as fast as possible. They are both genuinely happy if things are improving, which is a huge encouragement boost for me! Whenever I have a question Dr. Hougaard always takes the time to answer it, and even explains any extra details related to it. Most doctors have to rush to get to their next patient, but I love that she makes sure that I am all set before saying goodbye. Dr. Hougaard and Alex also have a great sense of humor, which to me is very appreciated! Considering the stress of being a healthcare professional, it is so nice that they "keep it human" when talking to me; even causing me to LOL at times! She is the most understanding Doctor that I have been to. She listens, and recommends what medication is best for me.

I would recommend Dr Hougaard to anyone looking for a new doctor. She takes time to talk to you and asks if you have any concerns. She is usually very prompt and you aren’t waiting forever to see her.

I trust Dr. Hougaard. I have never had a female doctor before. She is very sensitive to my age. She knows her stuff.

Dr. Hougaard saw me twice and gave me medication because I had a kidney stone. It took a week before I finally pasted the kidney stone and started feeling better. She was very professional and helpful.

Jordan Family has been my family's healthcare providers for many years. There have been changes in providers from time to time, but the great family health care has ALWAYS been consistently great!! Dr. Hougaard is very thorough and kind.

Dr. Hougaard was very friendly, nice & caring about my concerns regarding my visit. She took all the time she needed to answer all my questions & I did not feel hurried at all. She of course was very knowledgeable about the reason for my visit.

I have been going to this clinic for many years but this was my first experience with dr hougaard . She was very thorough and was willing and able to answer all of my questions. Didn’t make me feel rushed., even though she was busy . Very competent.

I have never been treated so rudely in my life by a doctor. She was very dismissive and condescending. I was instantly judged by her and treated like trash. I will never be able to open up to her and trust her to take care of me. I could never put my "life" in her hands. The amazing reviews have to be left by staff or herself. Trust the people who say she's brash and do yourself a favor, find another doctor who sees you as a human and actually cares about you.

I saw Dr. Hougaard today to establish care. It took almost 30 minutes for her to see me and when she did...ooph. She is not friendly at all. Tried to ask about how her vacation yet (front desk said she was gone on one when I called to schedule) and I got a pretty cold response. Tried cracking a couple small jokes during visit to warm up the room and still nada. The rest of the staff is friendly so I will be requesting a different provider next time. She is just not for me.

Dr Hoogard's clinic let me know that I needed to schedule an appointment for follow up lab work. She then took the time to review my lab work and explain the numbers to me. I have never felt she has tried to rush me through my appointment.

I had to see Dr Hougaard for several issues, since doctors at Jordan Family Health keep leaving (I wonder why). I had to wait almost an hour to get in. As a result, Hougaard was in a hurry and made me feel rushed and like I was inconveniencing her. I did not like her attitude or demeanor at all, nor the fact that she prescribed some "experimental" medications: I'm not a guinea pig! I went home, read the side effects and they were awful. I'll never go back. Avoid her like the plague.

I have been seeing Dr. Hougaard for several years. She took over on my care when Dr. Kirstein retired. I don't like change; however, Dr. Hougaard is wonderful! She is thorough, concise and has a great sense of humor. She is a great doctor and I will continue to see her. Also, her nursing staff is outstanding. Especially Kate. She is great.

Dr. Joni has been my primary care doctor for almost 20 years. She is caring, compassionate yet tough when she needs to be. She discusses my health with me and lets me know all the options and we decide together on my care. Recently, my Health Insurance informed me that they would no longer cover my visits because they were no longer on their plan. I still go to see Dr. Joni because of the fantastic care I receive by not only the doctor, but staff. I can't recommend this office highly enough

I have been very pleased with Dr. Hougarrd. I feel like I can discuss anything with her. Even though she is busy she still takes the time to listen and has your best interest at heart. I also like the way Dr. Hougarrd explains my symptoms to me so I understand what she is talking about. The staff at Jordan Family Health is friendly and courteous and patient. The office is very clean and comfortable. I have never had to wait very long to get in to see someone. I like their hours.

I've seen her twice for two different things and I left there both times feeling angry and dissatisfied. Dr. Hougaard is so rude and condescending. Her nurse is rude and impatient. I will never visit her or this office again.

This lady needs to go back to medical school. She has a terrible bed side manner and she gave me a EKG because I was having shortness of breath and coughing. She told me my EKG was fine! Within in the next few days I was in the emergency room and I had to have 3 stents. Have seen her a few times and she is just so cold and distant. Would not recommend her to anyone.

Horrible bedside manner, didn't take my issues seriously. I felt like she was doing me a favor by seeing me and that I was wasting her time. I left feeling worse.

Always feel comfortable speaking with Dr. Hougaard about anything. She never rushes me, hears what I am trying to say & understands me. She always explains things thoroughly & answers my questions. I wish I had found her sooner.
