Staff are helpful and easy to work with to schedule appointments. Not only do they answer the phones when you call, they reply immediately to all emails. Dr. Rothman makes you feel he is sincerely concerned with your issues. He reviews all current medications (not just ones he prescribes), asks questions regarding how you feel and are doing. Takes the time to listen to you. If you feel you are having issues, he seeks the answers with you, not just giving you another pill. Will refill medications but you have to be seen every 3 months which is not a bad idea. At least he knows how the meds are working and can make adjustments as necessary. Office is comfortable and very clean. Best psychiatrist I have seen in years.

They are the rudest office I've ever experienced. My pharmacist thought so as well! I despise my visits due to the receptionists. I would NEVER recommend this office to anyone. The only reason I go to this office is that they seemed to be the only one accepting new patients and now I just know every 2 months it's time to deal with the witches in the office. Deep breath! If it wasn't for my nurse practitioner I'd be long gone. Susan is a lovely and professional woman.

The office people are rude! And the dr isn’t much better, unfriendly! He wants me to come in to get my meds refilled each time, he will not call into pharmacy like others. Charging me a co-payment for a 5 min office visit just to pick up an RX and charged my ins the rest! He is an outdated dinosaur very behind the times, needed to fax office paper work bc they can’t us email. At this rate he will be with out Clients.

Stay away! Staff are rude! My Documented anxiety is worsened after talking to staff. This doctor will not renew Rx’s to your pharmacy, makes you get an appt each time to see him just for a refill that I have been on for over 10yrs. Charging me a copayment AND your ins company for this RX pick up “office visit” each time! He is not friendly and seems bothered with you making you feel unwelcome! Talked down to me and 1 left with more anxiety!

I have never left a negative comment on a website like this before. However, the several interactions I’ve had with the receptionist have been so incredibly negative that I felt compelled to share. Every single time I spoke with her it was as if I was a nuisance. Simple questions were answered with a condescending tone. Her attitude is consistently unsympathetic and frankly would be better suited for the DMV, not a place where vulnerable people are reaching out for help.

awful/inflexible service. i really like my doctor but plan to change as office staff treat all there patients like they are trying to scam for meds! ALWAYS hangup the phone feeling insulted. I've taken the same medication for 20 years and have never had a problem like i do with this office! Only uses fax (no email) or you have to drive to Worcester to give them paperwork (no receptionist in Westborough). Also, they badger you to have the office visits on a autopay credit card. Go elesewhere

Everything is great about the doctors but the staff at the Worcester office is so rude! I've consistently had bad experiences with the ladies at the front desk. They have no compassion and clearly hate working with the population they are serving.

I'm 54 and saw my first psychiatrist at the age of 30. The psychiatrist that I had been seeing most recently past away and Dr. Rothman was available. I let him know that I was with previous providers for a long time to find a medication regime that worked. He ignored what I had to say and made a rather significant change in my meds. I'm not happy. And I'm not going back. Don't you love it when a doc hands you an appointment card with the date and time filled out without even checking with you?

Unable to reach in urgent situations. Intelligent doctor, not personable what so ever. A smile never hurt anyone, especially when you're dealing with the emotionally unstable.

Dr. Rothman is a very intelligent and compassionate member of the medical community. He spends quality time with patients and actually listens to what you say. Appointments aren't difficult to schedule and all the staff are courteous and helpful. There is very little wait time in the very pleasant office. I recommend Dr. Rothman highly.
