Excellent experience cut my finger to the joint had to go to 3 hospitals and they would not repair my finger but they did surgery went great very nice

I saw Dr. Sollender for arthritis in my thumbs, he was very caring and knew what was the best treatment for me. He was cautious and recommended PT before surgery. I definitely would recommend him.

Today was my last visit with Dr. Sollender after having a surgery to repair a tendon in my hand. When I left his office I felt awful. This doctor definitely lacks empathy and respect. He has a horrible bedside manner. I don't think this doctor has a passion for helping people like most doctors claim. I believe he does the bare minimum so that you'll have to go back to him for further surgeries at $17k a pop. I'm not upset because of the information he gave me about my recover but the way he delivered the information was very unprofessional.

Until I i started regressing in progress and am back to not being able to funcitonally use my right hand(dominate hand) with constant pain radiating from my surgery all the way to my shoulder. Original: Awful awful awful. Office staff is rude and not helpful when asking questions. No one knew the cost of surgery I was having until I was literally in the hospital filling out paperwork before going back into back the OR. His office hours are only from 9-2 which is nsridiculous in my opinion. Called and schedule an appointment for hand pain from reinjuring my hand that I had surgery on. I come in and find out he will only recommend to wrap it because he wont hand out pain medication without surgery. What a waste of my time when I am coming in specifically for pain, have already been doing over the counter with NO relief, and splinting it, only to be told too bad so sad. Deal with it. What a great advice. Oooh and, first thing said about my surgery scar, "not my best work, it's pretty fat." Wow. Thanks. It isnt on the top of my hand where every person can see it. Avoid this doctor if possible. He is incompetent and working the Work Comp system for all it is worth. If your Work Comp company wants to send you to him for an IME....DON'T let them. Request another doctor! I'm not the only one with this opinion, do your research and read other online reviews about this doctor.

The WORST experience EVER. This jerk is only concerned about his money, NOT your well being. He cancelled my surgery because his payment was ONE DAY LATE! ONE DAY! Not only that, but he was completely oblivious as to what time the surgery was even scheduled for. We were seen for a finger tendon replacement. The doctor was recommended by our PCP. We were not impressed by his professional manner. The operation was a failure. Straight to the point. Knows what's he is doing. not crazy friendly but if need treatment I don't care he is good efficient not much messing around

DR Sollender was great. Put my thumb back together after I broke it. He has a great straight forward attitude and lets you know what needs to be done. he had me in surgery within a week of breaking my thumb and when he opened my hand up it was worse then the x rays showed he took care of it to make sure my bones fit back together right! I'm in PT and on the mend. Dr. Sollender has been great! DR Sollender was great. Put my thumb back together after I broke it. Dr. Sollender surgically repaired my broken thumb. He has a little "East Coast" wit about him and good humor which made it easier for me to succumb to the idea of having surgery on my hand. He is quick, efficient and clearly knows what he's doing. The physical therapists I am now working with to rehab my hand have nothing but good things to say about his technique.

HORRIBLE!!!!! I would not recommend this Doctor to anyone. His bedside manner was atrocious. He was very rude. He removed my splint, cut it down and reused it as well as the dirty material that was previously on my hand. He did not wash my hand, or offer to let me wash it before he rewrapped it. When I asked him about anew Ace bandage, or one of different color, he informed me i could go to WalMart and buy one. Did not seem to want to help me at all. Splint had a sharp edge after he cut it.
