Dr. Jonathan D Sherman

I completely trust Dr. Sherman. He listens and is thorough in his explanations.

Doctor Sherman is a skilled physician and surgeon. He explains procedures and fields questions in a patient manner. It is refreshing to have a provider who actually listens to patients rather than pushing the "EASY" button...telling a person to cease certain activities or prescribing meds that may or may not be effective. I have had two procedures with Dr. Sherman and would recommend him to anyone with neuro-spinal conditions.

For ten years doctors told me there was nothing they could do for me except pain pills and shots in my back. Dr Sherman said he could make me 95% better and he did! I wouldn't see anyone else.

For ten years in two different states, doctors told me they couldn't do anything for me beside cortisone shots. Dr Sherman tells me on my first visit that he could make me 95% better and he did! Thank you Dr Sherman, you changed my life for the better.

After Sherman's surgery on my lower back my symptoms were much worse than before surgery. I suffered greater post-surgery pain than ever before. And symptoms continued to become worse. Recent MRI's indicate that I must have the surgery redone to clean up the mess he made.

I would be very careful before having him do any type of surgery on you. I wouldn’t even have him put a band-aid on u. Look at what he did to me. He left me paralyzed in my left leg. I live in chronic pain with a back stimulater with a pain pump and 21-23 pills a day and wear an AFO brace with an arm cane. Now if you envy my life and would like to limp in my shoes, have this so called doctor perform your surgery and welcome to my world! No work, no play, just pills, pump, back stimulater, sleep

Dr Sherman performed an L4,5,S1 Fusion on me two years ago. To this day I still have serious complications to my right leg and foot. Informed Sherman of this and was told there is nothing he can do. Had a cavalier attitude and seemed offended that I questioned him. To this day he has never even seen my post surgical site. I have no legal recourse for this. It saddens me that he is able to act this way and there are no consequences for him. I,on the other hand, am unable to work, walk .

He is very friendly and explained his interpretation of my MRI's. He explained the surgery, recovery time and possible side effects. He was very thorough with his answers to my questions and suggested surgery as a last step if alternative treatments did not work.
